She truly goes above and beyond. She even gave our dogs a bath before we picked them up, and while they were there, they got to join in celebrating her dog’s birthday! She did the cutest birthday photo shoot and even sent our pups home with little goodie bags. Such a fun and thoughtful surprise! “Just seeing I forgot to write this review--ohmygosh. Linda & Bill...what can I say? Other than-UHHH-mazing. They were flexible with drop off/pickup, quick to communicate, interested to know all the details about our choc lab, Makana-including-does she like to get into the garbage can (lol--yes! silly lab loves her food-however she can get to it). It is obvious how much they love animals. We had a snag in our vacation plans (think covid) & they were so understanding and beyond beyond beyond fair when I had to pick up our dog early. They gave a tour of their entire house & backyard during our meet & greet...and they have a doggie door so the pups can come and go at will to play outside. We rec'd consistant pics/updates & saw our pup having the time of her life--including -get this: getting to go see Top Gun at the drive in with them--our dog saw that movie before we did! lol. They treat your furry friend as they would their own-they have lots of experience watching animals and have their own pup who 'supervises' ❤️. It has been a relief to find these two gems. 150%++++ recommend them - Each time we've picked up Makana, it seems she doesnt want to leave...& we wouldnt want it any other way...so thankful for Linda & Bill.”

She updated us every other day (or so) on how he was settling in, which we appreciated. Her profile says she’ll send pics, which she did— and the best was when she sent holiday-themed gifts in front of the tree. She had put a little Santa hat on him, which probably made him feel right at home, since my daughter and I dress him up for all kinds of occasions! When we arrived to pick Bingus up, Sarah had him ready to go and was waiting for us on her lawn. We could tell he had been well cared-for. “About 1-1/2 months ago, we brought in a stray cat who was very scared of everything. Unfortunately, we had previously planned a 10 day trip and so were concerned as to what to do about our new cat, Percy. We searched online and discovered Rover. Bridgette, who does pet sitting through Rover, agreed to be at our home over the 10 day period when we would be gone. We are grateful that Bridgette was able to stay 24 hours a day as Percy was just too new to be left alone for long periods of time. We were delighted with the work she did for us. She was very responsible and we felt comfortable leaving her in charge of our home and Percy. Bridgette is very sweet and soft-spoken which was perfect for our anxious cat. He was very wary of her and hid away for much of the time, but Bridgette continued to care for his needs, plus her presence in our home must have given him a sense of companionship. Percy was starting to warm up to her and we are confident Bridgette will win him over as we definitely plan to use her in the future. We highly recommend Bridgette and Rover.”

About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. About: Cats can be more standoffish than dogs at times, and thats totally okay! Everyone needs their alone time and still get the quality (royal) treatment they deserve. Ive also taken care of cats from the age of 9 years old. While I grew up with 4 dogs in my house, it was always me bring in the stray kitties. Ive seen them at their worst, at their best and inbetween. I've even given cpr to a cat one time. I love all animals, but cats have a special place in my heart and yours will occupy that same space. Rather they want to yell at me to feed them for the 100th time or stay far away in their preferred solitude. Black cats are especially sweethearts and orange cats are always chaotic, but theyre all babies just the same.

Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.

I have patience with puppies and I also have experience with senior and special needs dogs to include administering medications by mouth or subcutaneously. I have pets of my own, I let them out every morning and we play while outside with my kids. If I can, or if requested, I will walk them after work. I currently do not have dogs of my own and I have a fenced yard. Dogs will not be left in the yard unattended and the neighborhood is great for walking around. I temperament check all dogs I pet sit before booking.
About: Hello, I am Sylvia been around furry friends all my life and enjoyed their company. My experience is been extensive with a variety of all animals, my foster Mom was an animal whisper if it would had been her she would had had a sanctuary of all kinds of animals. I grew up with parrots, cats, dogs, cows, horses and and even reptiles. I have worked with animals since I was in high school working with a biologist and a Veterinarian learning how to properly care as far as feeding, administering medication, shots and making sure they were properly care. I have help take care of my family and friends pets and I had dogs of my own, had a beautiful and my friend a husky for 17 years and passed away two years ago, took care of him until he went to heaven, currently have my daughters dog moglie and he is a lab/hound great personality he is 8 years old, while she is away I take good care of him. I have also rescue birds and other dogs and nurture them to life. I would like to make this as my career while I learn and take classes to further help the field with animals. For instance would like to get my license on grooming and animal behavior. About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. About: I’ve been around all animals almost all my life and have always had the biggest love for them. About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. About: I have taken care of my own pets and those of friends and family when they go on vacation etc. i have all sorts of expiration e from sick animals to healthy ones and old dogs to puppies. I also love cats and kittens. I find it relaxing to play with animals! I currently have two cars and a dog of my own! I have a exotic short hair with eye problems that needs eye drops daily plus I feed all my animals twice a day! And take my dog for 3 walks! With love and affection! Animals deserve nothing but the best! I love to give treats and play with animals whatever makes them happy and trust me! Everyday I make sure my animals have everything they need such as food and water. We go on daily walks and I clean the cat boxes daily. I also love to spoil my animals with treats. Me and my dog always go for daily walks and i always give all my animals lots of pets and cuddles. If I were to watch someone else’s animals I would treat them as my own and also give them lots of love and cuddles/ play games and go for walks! And of course always clean up after them!

“Just seeing I forgot to write this review--ohmygosh. Linda & Bill...what can I say? Other than-UHHH-mazing. They were flexible with drop off/pickup, quick to communicate, interested to know all the details about our choc lab, Makana-including-does she like to get into the garbage can (lol--yes! silly lab loves her food-however she can get to it). It is obvious how much they love animals. We had a snag in our vacation plans (think covid) & they were so understanding and beyond beyond beyond fair when I had to pick up our dog early. They gave a tour of their entire house & backyard during our meet & greet...and they have a doggie door so the pups can come and go at will to play outside. We rec'd consistant pics/updates & saw our pup having the time of her life--including -get this: getting to go see Top Gun at the drive in with them--our dog saw that movie before we did! lol. They treat your furry friend as they would their own-they have lots of experience watching animals and have their own pup who 'supervises' ❤️. It has been a relief to find these two gems. 150%++++ recommend them - Each time we've picked up Makana, it seems she doesnt want to leave...& we wouldnt want it any other way...so thankful for Linda & Bill.”

My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”
