“I have review Rachel a few times now and every time, she is amazing. She watched our almost 1 year old golden doodle for 6 days and nights. Babka is so happy when she is there. And so happy when she comes home. No issues whatsoever and Rachel sent pictures and videos too. Also her dog loves Babka and that makes us so happy for them both to have a friend to play with for the week. We will continue to use Rachel whenever we can.”

“Bob was wonderful to our nervous little pup! He made sure she was well taken care of and she felt very much at home at his place. Would definitely have her stay again!”
“I was nervous about going away because I have never left my dog for someone else to watch, especially for a week. Lorrie did a great job watching my pup and sending updates. I could tell he was well cared for and was happy with the experience”
“Sean and Dakota were amazing! They took amazing care of our boy, Otis. We got regular updates, pictures and videos. We couldn’t be happier and knowing Otis was so well taken care of and having an absolute blast gave us peace of mind.”

“Best dog care from Dawn, she’s always reliable this is the second time we’ve booked with her and it was amazing as always! We are already looking forward to our next booking with Dawn as our dog alway comes home happy :)”

“Cream Cheese had a wonderful time with Shelley and his new doggo buddies. He settled in and got comfortable quickly. I was impressed with the level of care and communication throughout his stay.”

“We left our super energetic 10 month old French bulldog Frankie with Ken for 3 days and 2 nights. He took great care of him and sent him home healthy and tired. We would definitely recommend him! He’s very nice and gives good updates. He seems to really loves dogs.”

“Krystal was a wonderful caregiver to my 12.5yr old frenchie, Honey, who requires oral medication as well as eye drops. Krystal was very responsive during booking and during Honeys stay. Her dog Kilo is chill and he welcomed Honey to his pack for 5 days. I will certainly check with Krystal when Hobsy needs a place to stay.”

“Mike is always reliable and a great overnight dog sitter. He sent us pictures, kept us informed, and our dog Ollie loves being with Mike and Archie. Ollie is looking forward to his next overnight!”

“Seriously cannot recommend Erick enough. My two pups felt right at home in his house and got along so well with his two dogs. He’s extremely reliable, quick to respond and also sends daily updates so you know your babies are doing okay. I will be booking them again for future vacations and I recommend you do the same!”

“I highly recommend Ka and her husband Jeff. They took care of our dog for three nights and it exceeded my expectations! They are very reliable and they updated me everyday with videos and pictures of my dog Kovu who had a really fun time with them and socializing with other dogs.I am happy to have found them.:)”

“I couldn't be happier with the care Xiaoke provided for my energetic puppy Hazel. He was reliable, communicative, and clearly had a genuine love for dogs. I received regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease while I was away. I can tell Hazel was happy and relaxed when I returned. I will definitely be using their services again!”

“This was the first time I was apart from my dog for more than two days and the first day that I left the dog with a non relative. It was great to have someone as responsive and responsible as Vincent taking care of my dog. It is clear that Vincent loves dogs and does a great job taking care of them. When I picked my dog up it was clear he had a good week, was healthy, well fed and very happy.”

“This was our first time leaving our husky Blaze with William, when we had to travel. It all went very well. He was taking good care of our boy. He took him for nice walks, sent us pictures every day and communicated thoroughly. And when our flight got cancelled at the last moment, and we couldn't get back home the day we planned, William was flexible to allow us to extend Blaze's stay by one more day. Definitely would recommend him 👍”

“Catherine and her family were so great with Winston! There’s lot of room and he loved the backyard. We received photo updates and could tell he was well taken care of. We would definitely book Catherine again in the future.”

“Jacqueline was incredible! Literally couldn’t have asked for more in a sitter for our dog Mabel. Mabel is a very sweet but anxious lady and wasn’t her best self when we dropped her off - barking and very anxious to be left. Jacqueline was very understanding and updated me soon after I left to let me know Mabel had calmed down and was doing well. She asked all questions necessary to ensure Mabel had the best and most comfortable stay possible, and Mabel did indeed have a great time! Jacqueline sent photos and updates the whole time we were gone and I felt very comfortable with Mabel’s care which allowed me to enjoy my time away! Will absolutely be using Jacqueline & fam again!”

“I boarded my 2 cats with Nervana for 8 days and she took great care of them! She was happy to give my boy his pill 2x daily and made sure to send me pic and video updates. Based on the videos I saw, the cats warmed up to her very well (even my girl who is usually terrified of 99% of people lol.) I would definitely recommend her to anyone else needing care for their pets in the future!”

“Erica is the best. This was a very last minute booking and everyone was busy. She was the only one who said yes and it felt like it was meant to be. She took care of my dog very well and I will 100% book her in the future. Thank you Erica”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Port Monmouth
We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs, Bo and Rosie, received! From the moment we met our dog sitter, we knew they truly loved animals. Bo and Rosie were treated like family, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which made being away so much easier. When we returned, both dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious they received plenty of love, attention, exercise, and affection. We highly recommend this dog sitter to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy. We will absolutely be booking again.

Let me start by saying that my dogs have never been away from home, so I left two of them with Michael as a short-term test. (2 nights) Lucy, who weighs about 5 lbs, was just fine—she rolls with the punches. Mac, who weighs about 20 lbs, on the other hand, was more of a challenge. Michael took wonderful care of both, giving Mac the extra attention he needed. Michael handled him with patience and care. I’d trust him with them anytime! I would gladly trust them with Michael again—if he’ll have them!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
