Currently, I am a proud mom of a chatty black cat named Binx 🐈⬛ and a very funny (and very opinionated) 2 year old husky named Aries who loves to sing 📣🐺 Both are very social, friendly, kind and well behaved. Both get along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Both are fixed, vaccinated and healthy. I have walk several dogs in my old building complex - most are friends with my dog who is a very happy husky mix. I am the friend / neighbor everyone calls when they need help with their pets! I’m trained in walking dogs on standard leashes, slip leads, harnesses, choke collar (although, not personally preferred), retractable leashes, “no pull” harnesses, muzzles, etc. Previously, I volunteered at an animal shelter for years where I was properly trained on walking different degrees of behaviorally ranked dogs. Each level requires a 10 hour orientation so as to make sure both the dog and I were safe. I still apply many of those useful techniques today. I’ve owned, worked with and volunteered with dog breeds of all sizes and all kinds of personalities for many years and across NYC. I also adore cats, fish and reptiles as well. 🐠🐢🦎 I can help with walking, feeding / administering medication or vitamins, socialization, basic training (leash training, off-leash training, crate training, positive reinforcement, sit, stay, down, paw (and “other paw”), behavioral fixes like pulling on leash, etc), daycare for short or longer stays, drop-ins and whatever else you need! We can also work out trips to the dog park, groomer, vet, etc. Importantly, I am looking into becoming a certified dog trainer in the coming year 🐕🦺 My own dog gets 4-5 walks a day with a substantial exercise session as one of them! Clients have the opportunity to set their own schedules with me. I am available early, late, weekends and holidays! Working with animals is my full time occupation at the moment. He loves other dogs, is up to date on his core vaccines, and is currently unneutered. Because of him, I have firsthand experience with the unique care that long-bodied breeds require, including proper handling techniques and back protection. I’ve also cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am American Red Cross Certified in Dog First Aid 🐾 and have experience caring for medical dogs who require a little extra attention. My prior Border Collie, Zoey, was dog-reactive and medically disabled (she was completely blind in one eye), so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting care to a dog’s individual needs. ⸻ I am home throughout the day and will provide plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship for your pup. This allows me to provide individualized attention, maintain a calm, low-stress environment, and tailor my care to each dog’s unique needs. I closely supervise all dog interactions, and my home has multiple gated/partitioned areas that allow dogs to have their own space and be separated when needed. Moose also has a dedicated separate space for meals, naps, etc. At night, your pup will have the playpen all to themselves for a peaceful night’s sleep (or a crate if you prefer). The playpen is also monitored with a baby monitor for an extra layer of safety. ⸻ My goal is to make drop-off as simple and stress-free as possible. If you’d prefer to simply drop off your pup, I’ve got the essentials covered! About: We’ve taken care of our friend’s and roommates pets (both cats and dogs) for years before adopting our own dog, Gary, 7 years ago! I grew up with lots of animas and had loved them for as long as I can remember. I enjoy connecting and getting to know them, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe and relaxed in our home. I also have many years of experience babysitting and working with children, which isn’t too different in some ways. I will treat your dog as lovingly as if it were my own and will make sure to send pictures and videos so you know they are doing well. I am working full time from home, monday through friday, so your dog will not be left home alone for long periods of time. We usually go out for a long walk in the morning, a shorter walk for lunch (depending on the weather 20-30 min) and another long walk in the late afternoon, then a quick pee before bed. I would be happy to follow any rules/recommendations you may have, or answer any questions. I typically don’t let a new dog off-leash unless I am very familiar with them and the owner has explicitly requested that I do so. I am careful with other dogs, unleashed or not, that may approach and respectfully ask other owners to keep their distance if I sense that there is any stress on the part of either dog. About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

About: For the past 5 years, I’ve had a yellow labrador retriever named Hazel who is very energetic and playful. She’s my best friend! I’ve done house drop ins for friends and family for both dogs and cats to check in and take care of them. 💗 I currently work as a part-time before/aftercare teacher at a couple different elementary schools. I work Monday-Friday but have availability from 9:30am-2:30pm and after 6 pm. My weekends are free! I help my family feed our dog and provide her with water. I also take her on walks, to the park or play fetch in our backyard which has a good amount of running space for her. She’s a cuddler when she’s tired so we snuggle on the couch or play tug of war inside 😊
