Beach Baby, Pet Sitting

I'm a dog lover and grew up on a Horse farm in Wall Township, NJ. I was surrounded by all different breeds of dogs. Your pup would get excellent one-on-one overnight or day care and visits at my home. I do not take in a few dogs at a time unless they are family; that is a different story, and they are all welcome. Any size and age of dog is welcome. If not a dog family, I like to keep it a single-dog visit, or if two dogs need the same date with different owners, a mutual agreement and possible meet-and-greet first, and good communication will be made. You will never drop your dog off to 4 or six dogs at a time. We would go for a walk early in the morning on the boardwalk and again later in the day after the sun starts to set during the summer months. In winter, a full run of the beach. I also have a very peaceful and secure fenced-in backyard. Whichever season, your dog would be spoiled, with access to potty breaks in the grass and garden in a secure, fenced backyard, or walks. Walks around the neighborhood are on the wide sidewalks and quiet streets. Dog beach runs and Sandy Hook visits; I do keep your pup on a leash for safety. If I have watched them a few times and know your pup a bit better, I can let them off-leash. For everyone's safety and peace of mind while you are away, we will go on adventures just side by side on a leash. Senior dog? It's not a problem; I live in a one-story cottage with a secure, fenced-in yard. The cottage is airy, light, good vibes. I'm an artist and would mostly hang inside when not walking and painting. A portrait of your dog can be done on request while they are staying with me. I will be home with your pup. Being an artist, music and Rover are my jobs, so I will be at home with your pup. I do require your dog to be housebroken. They will get plenty of walks and potty breaks with me being at home with them; however, we need to be honest about that subject. Thank you. The house smells great and is clean. Thank you, and I am looking forward to spending time with your pup!

Schedule

Although I am home most of the time with your dog, there would be times when your dog would have to be left alone, but not for long, to do a simple local errand. Separation problems: I have watched dogs in the past with severe separation issues, and we can discuss this to make sure it would be a good fit.

Safety, trust & environment

The environment for your dog will be very relaxing. I live in a quiet home block and a half from the beach. I ask that your dog be housebroken and friendly with people and other dogs. Because of the town I live in - very much a dog town , honesty is the best policy for the safety of your pet and a great stay. One-level home and fenced backyard. We can arrange for your dog to be the one and only if need to be.

A typical day

You dog will enjoy a very zen atmosphere and a lot of activities. Walks on the boardwalk during winter months. There are also many paved trails to walk in the woods in the area as well. I don't go to Happy Hour or the Dog Beach. I leave that up to the owner to do with their pup. unless the owner requests me to do so. I really love dogs. They will get a lot of love and kindness.

My favorite is an Old English Sheepdog. However, I love all dogs. They are amazing.I require your pet to be spayed or neutered. Up on all shots and vet information in case of an emergency. If your pup is aggressive or has dog social-related issues. I find being honest with each other makes the best visit. Thank you.
