About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life from Huskies and German Shepherds to Goldens, Great Pyrenees, and my current Chow (the sweetest girl ever!). I understand different temperaments, training needs, and energy levels, and I always match their vibe whether it’s a long walk by the beach or a cozy nap at home. About: I've had pets all my life, and I've cared for many different animals and reptiles. I enjoy spending time with them, and since I don't have pets of my own, I'd enjoy spending time and caring for your pet I am available weekdays during the day or overnight, I work part time on some weekends during the day so I am available to care for your pet pretty much all week I can walk your pet, feed them, and take care of all their needs. I could either watch them during the day or pet-sit them over night.

About: We have fostered over a dozen shelter dogs, younger pups, seniors that are deaf, kitten litters, moms with babies, senior cats, and cats with medical needs. We are a young, energetic, and dedicated couple that work from home and LOVES pets (having had cats and dogs our whole lives). We value bonding, cuddles, play time, training time, and listening to the pet to understand their needs. We have worked with training dogs from the local shelter to deal with resource guarding. Each pet is unique, and we have several rooms, front yard, and fenced patio, all available to make sure your pet can have fun time and down time as they need. No children live in the house, and we like to go for long beach walks or hikes. We will do our best to make sure your baby has a pawsome time :) We often work from home, so between the two or us, someone is almost always home. We can do frequent feedings, walks, cuddles, and meds if needed. We go for frequent walks to the beach which is less than a five minute walk away and would love to take your pup! We have a medium crate if needed, but are unfortunately unable to care for pets that have severe separation anxiety or are not house trained. If you have a well behaved dog under 30 pounds or a cat and looking for pet care during the holidays (or otherwise) we are also open to trading pet care! We will be going away for 2-3 weeks in Jan/Feb. Reach out! :) Boarding is provided for 24 hour periods. A late fee of 10 per hour upto 4 hours is applied after the 24 hour period I have a fenced patio and a 12 yo friendly little dog (cocker spaniel/retreiver) to keep your pet company. Plenty of toys, snacks, and comfy places to nap. I can crate your pet if needed, and can administer meds if needed.

About: I’m an animal lover, I grew up with different breeds of dogs. From chihuahuas, poodles, German Shepard, to my most recent, Doberman pincher. I personally trained both my German Shepard and my Doberman pincher. I create special bonds with each individual dog and consider them all family. Wednesdays for me are tricky and would leave them free of any duties as I do pick up my daughter for the week and requires me to pick her up from school at 11. Other than that I’m open Currently I don’t have any pets of my own as I don’t live on my own. I have stayed over at family members and friends house to dog sit and check up on their dogs. Feeding them, showering them with love, bathing them, walking them and playing with them

I was a nanny for a long time and I approach dog care the same way I handled childcare. Being responsible for someone’s child or pet is a serious undertaking and I do not take it lightly. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve done several training classes with my rescue super mutt so problem walkers are not a problem. I’ll have your dog walking at a heel in no time. Whether it’s once or once a week I’d love to walk your dog! As a freelancer my schedule is very flexible so I can be available last minute or accommodate a shifting plan. I’m always available. Just ask. I work from home so I can provide round the clock attention and care. Frequent potty breaks are no problem. I do have a small yard.

“What a great stay Louis had! Moving house day for me, so really needed to make sure he was taking care of and not in the midst of chaos. I got so lucky with Adelle, Kyle and Sandy, who played with Louis all day long. They sent me several videos, pics and updates and were cool with some timing issues I had. About: Grew up without pets and ended up rescuing a Jack Russel mix without knowing how active they are! Learned how to train and love being around hyper dogs! Also love calm ones that want to cuddle up and get belly rubs. I have cared for my friend’s 17 year old senior dog several times. I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by many personalities as well. Recently started being more active. Would be great to have a fur buddy to join my daily walks. Weekends I’m usually always free. I am able to work from home one to two days a week and am free every evening after 5pm for walks. Spacious apartment in dog friendly complex. Near tons of walking paths and dog parks. I like to keep a schedule so we are moving as much and as often as they need. At their home I follow their routine and try to play with them as much as they’ll allow me to.

About: I love their independence and how they demand service when they want it. They are different then dogs and that is what makes them so special to me. I am retired and my wife still works, empty nester, flexible schedule We have enclosed patio and parks near by I’d like to go to. I follow the routine of the owners and make sure no stress by being away from Mom and Dad. They are part of my family when they are here and when I am visiting them in their home I’d follow their routine as instructed by my clients.

We had a successful meet and greet with her and her dogs, then made our booking for day care that same week without thinking twice. I really appreciate her timeliness with communication, as well as the fact that she sends photos and updates. She also set up a sweet little gated area for Cowboy in her office—which I’m sure made him feel cozy and safe while she worked—and made it easy for her to keep an eye on him while he chewed on toys and had his snacks. They have a lovely home and backyard. Drop off and pick up were easy, and Cowboy seemed content and ready for a nap on his way home. We highly recommend Sarah!”

About: About our home & pack Hi, we’re Elise and Brad :) … dogs are our kids, and we keep things small so every pup gets real attention. We’re at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Ventura on an ~8,500 sq ft lot with a fully fenced yard—great for zoomies, fetch, and potty breaks. Brad and I own the house and rent bedrooms to long-term roommates — all of whom are working professionals in their thirties who love dogs. Two of us work from home and so our adult household means someone responsible is home 24/7, so pups are pretty much never left home alone. Our resident doodles are friendly, well-mannered playmates: • Joey (1.5yo 15 lb cockapoo): shy, sweet, loves chase games. He’s my soul dog. • Mia (1yo 39 lb goldendoodle): gentle, social, and very respectful of smaller dogs. She’s got sweet, protective mama energy. Safety & setup • Fully-fenced yard with easy, frequent potty access (sliding door open when we’re home). • We do have a pool, but it’s off-limits unless supervised. A retractable fence blocks access when needed, and there’s a surface alarm as a backup. • Dogs can be separated for meals or decompression anytime; we have plenty of space. Experience, seniors & care style Between Brad and I, we have 32 years of combined dog-owning experience (not counting caring for family pets as kids)… we’re lifelong poodle/doodle people. Brad handles our pups’ grooming at home (baths, trims, nails, ears), so just know we are big dog-people and super attentive. We’re very familiar with caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors who may need assistance. We also have plenty of experience with disabilities; one of our poodles became a tripod due to cancer… and we cherished him even more when that happened. A typical day Morning potty and light play in the fenced yard, breakfast per your schedule. Seniors get shorter, sniffy walks and extra nap time; playful guests get more fetch and yard time. With permission, we add a safe neighborhood walk and—occasionally— with your permission — an early-evening beach outing at C Street. Dinner, wind-down, and cozy sleep in our bedroom with us. Dogs are allowed on our furniture if that’s your style also. You’ll get daily photo updates so you’re never guessing. Good fit & requirements Friendly, house-trained dogs with no aggression history. Small–medium pups are our sweet spot; larger gentle dogs considered case-by-case. Seniors are absolutely welcome. Please have rabies vaccine and flea/tick prevention up to date, and bring food, leash/harness, meds, and a familiar bed/blanket. Logistics & options We’re flexible on pickup/drop-off—share your window. Meet & greets welcome. Optional extras upon request: extra neighborhood walk, beach trip to C street, light bath/brush, simple swim lessons (accompanied swim to find the steps and get out) I work from home so am around for any pet care needs throughout the day. Potty in the yard is available all day and I’m always keeping a watchful eye. :) Evening walks around our super-safe neighborhood after work, plus occasional trips to run on the beach (with your permission, of course). Dogs are our kids and we treat them as the treasures that they are. Our yard is fully-fenced in and front door/gate is always closed.We live at the end of a safe cul de sac on the east end of town where the sun usually shines. Pool is off-limits unless we are right there — it’s cordoned off with a retractable fence as needed plus a surface alarm (Bcone) as a backup. We also offer optional "find the steps" swim lessons, if that's of interest. :)

About: I have been caring for fur babies for 6 years. I started watching dogs because my little girl at the time was terrified of dogs. I knew the only way to help her overcome her fear and learn to read the cues of dogs was to work with them one-on-one. We started with one fur baby and have since welcomed many beautiful fur babies who have become part of our family. We will treat your babies like family, and they will live their best vacation life with us. We document daily with pictures and videos so you can feel like you are a part of their days. We have also taken care of senior dogs and puppies. We look forward to taking care of your babies and meeting you all! As of now, pet care is my primary job. I take care of many babies, and they require a lot of my attention. If we go somewhere and they are small enough, we take them on outings and put them in our doggy stroller. Bigger dogs, if events are pet-friendly and the parents agree, we take them with us. We also love to take them to the dog park and on walks. I have a fenced yard. I do not have a pet of our own. When we do drop in care, we are very respectful of your home. We follow all directions given and make sure to keep you updated on your pets care.
