7. Heather W.
“Heather did an amazing job with my dog, Bear. He is a 75 pound lab with tons of energy and love. She split her time with him between my home and her home. While at my home, she took him outside regularly and to the dog park at least twice a day to socialize with other dogs he was used to seeing. Each day I received many pictures and videos of Bear playing at the park, sleeping, eating, playing with her children and running around on her fenced in five acres at her mother’s house which is right next door to her house. Bear was definitely loved and taken care of. I had no worries in the world about him while I was gone. Heather is a “doggone” amazing dog sitter!”
8. Ashley D.
“Ashley was amazing! Axis absolutely loved her! She was very accommodating and happy to help us despite our short notice. We will definitely reach out to her again in the future!”

10. Nilka A.
About: Hello! I'm Nilka, and I am thrilled to offer top-notch pet-sitting services in Auburndale, FL. With a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Sydney and nearly a year of experience as an official veterinarian in Australia, your furry friends couldn't be in better hands. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. Having recently moved back to the States to be closer to family, I'm now preparing for the NAVLE exam to practice veterinary medicine in the U.S. Meanwhile, I'm excited to provide loving and professional care for your pets. Why Choose Me? - Veterinary Expertise: My background ensures I deeply understand your pets' health and well-being. - Extensive Experience: Over 10 years on Care-.com and Madpaws-.com, earning stellar reviews and building lasting client relationships. - Comprehensive Care: From caring for pets to babysitting children and caring for elderly people, I provide attentive and compassionate care. - Diverse Animal Care: I have experience with domestic, large animals, wild/marine, and exotic species, having performed many placements. - Lifelong Animal Lover: Caring for pets has been my passion from a young age, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. - Pet Parent: I have a 5.5-year-old female desexed cat named Motita, a domestic medium-haired tortoiseshell who gets along well with other pets. Your pets will receive not just basic care but also the love and attention they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. Each day, I dedicate specific times in the morning, afternoon, and evening to tend to pets, ensuring they receive consistent and attentive care. I structure my day around these times to include feeding, exercise, playtime, and any special care needs. Since I will be home studying and preparing for my NAVLE exam, I have plenty of time to arrange my schedule around pet care appointments, making sure each pet gets the attention they deserve. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I have designated areas for feeding, sleeping, and play, ensuring that each pet's specific needs are met. Safety is a priority, so I ensure all areas are pet-proofed and free from hazards. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely to maintain consistency and reduce stress for the pet. I ensure the environment is secure, follow any special instructions provided, and maintain open communication with the pet owners. To build trust and transparency, I regularly provide updates with photos and videos of their pets, so owners can see how their pets are doing.

About: Hello!!! My name is Jackie. I am 35 years old and have been around animals my whole life. I have owned a husky, yellow lab and 2 calico cats (Not all at the same time). I have experience caring for not just dogs but various animals as I was a companion animal specialist at Petco for 4 and half years. I love animals and they love me!!! :) While I was a nanny and babysitter for 22 years; in many of the homes I was also responsible for the care of the dogs while the family was gone. I am very outgoing, caring, loving and enjoy the outdoors. Your dog or cat will receive lots of love from me and long walks... and maybe a treat or two if your ok with that. If your animal needs medication or is on a strict diet I have no problem admitting the medications and following the diet that they are on. Rates may vary if you have more than one pet and if it’s holiday. I look forward to working with you and caring for your four legged friend.

18. Monica G.
About: Hey! My name is Monica and I am originally from Louisiana but relocated to Florida for work purposes. I have 2 cats & a medium size floffer along with having my spouse (ft in my profile picture) & my baby girl (4 mo currently) that all live in my house. We do have a nice size fenced in yard as well. Back home I took care of a few different types of animals & am very open to taking in any animal as long as they got along with my babies, human & animal kind alike. The pitties on my profiles are my original babies that I no longer have but they started this journey for me, my current puppy is the black & tan goofball you see featured after them followed by my two very healthy cats & then I just included some extra pictures of my family/furry friends I’ve watched over the years for reference. We do have plenty of areas to go for walks & I am a big fan of dog parks for socializing if it is allowed. I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds as I’ve grown up with animals, have taken care of my own animals for 8 years now, & have been doing Rover & wag for about 4 years now. Please message me if you have any questions! Can’t wait to meet you and your babies!! I currently run a fairly busy schedule as I am typically working 4 days a week at about 10 hrs a day but after work I usually go straight home to relax. I also have my partner who typically works mid day shifts while I work night shifts & i also have an in home baby sitter so we can usually have someone home most hours of the day. He is a huge animal lover just as I am & we love giving spoils. Although my schedule is hectic with work & a baby, I always manage to find time to do what I need to do & if I know I can’t meet your expectations, I will definitely let you know! In my home & at yours, I will treat your babies just like I treat mine, except for the disciplinary aspect. I am willing to pick up after them, care for them, play with them, etc. as needed whether that be being a little more active by going to the park or just enjoying cuddles on the sofa.

20. Perla S.
“I think Perla would be a great caregiver because of her qualities to be responsible, attentive, and nurturing to every new animal she has encountered. Perla was always able and willing to look after my cat, Zelda when I would go on vacation. While on vacation, I thankfully had no calls or reported concerns because she was a natural at responding to the needs of my cat who also suffers from anxiety. I would lastly describe Perla as being someone who is trustworthy, empathetic, and knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed!”
