“Alex is everything we had hoped for & would be our first call back for the next trip. He not only took good care of our pet crew, they were all very relaxed and calm upon returning home & the pet action photos he sent us kept us connected. Our neighbors saw him out walking our dog several times, and he was fully committed to keeping Daario (dog) safe and well walked/sprinted. He took great care of our home, and picked up after himself like a pro. Great communication, easy to work with, and most of the pets warmed up to him on day 1 based on the photos.”

“Annmarie has become our “go to” sitter for our Roxie. Roxie is so happy, well taken care of and loved by sweet AnnMarie. We are so lucky that AnnMarie has been there for our family.💕”

“If we could leave 6/5 stars we would! Natalia is the best dog sitter we have had and for the first time we were able to go out of town and not have any worries or stress. She took such good care of our puppy, followed all of our directions perfectly, and sent the most amazing updates and photos while we were away. She went above and beyond to make sure our puppy was well cared for and loved! We are so glad we booked her and can’t wait for her to watch our Sully boy again!”

“Kayla is an amazing, responsible and thoughtful young woman and she made our first trip without our two pups a very good experience. She met us in advance of her stay, asked good questions and listened as we provided answers and instructions and took great care of our home and our dogs. She gave us timely feedback on her walks with our dogs and I honestly felt like they were happy she was there to play with them and care for them and never missed us. We have already scheduled Kayla for our next trip.”

“Absolutely wonderful. So flexible and communicative and I could tell she was taking really good care of my animals!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the personal care and attention I give to each pet, as if they were my own. Having a furry friend at home, I understand the responsibility and emotional bond that comes with being a pet aunty. I bring that same level of care to every pet I work with. I’m reliable, communicative, and very detail-oriented—I make it a point to follow each pet’s routine closely, from feeding and walks to medications and special care instructions. My flexible weekend availability, with plans to expand during the week, means I can be there when pet parents need trusted, consistent care the most. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved while giving their families peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine, especially because I have a furry friend at home. I understand firsthand the love, attention, and consistency that pets need to thrive. Although I currently work full-time, I’m available on weekends and will have more availability during the week in the near future. Right now, I work Sundays from 7am to 1:30pm, but I’m free the rest of the day, as well as all day Friday and Saturday. With this schedule, I’m able to dedicate quality time to caring for pets, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company. Pet care is something I enjoy and prioritize. When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment that mirrors the care and routine they’re used to. In My Home: I stick to their feeding and potty schedule as closely as possible. Pets get plenty of playtime, cuddles, and supervised outdoor breaks (if needed). I monitor behavior and health closely, giving updates and photos to the pet parent for peace of mind. In a Client’s Home: I respect their space and follow all instructions provided, including feeding, walking, medications, or any special care needs. I keep pets on their usual routine to help reduce stress while their family is away. I make sure they have fresh water, clean litter boxes (for cats), and plenty of attention and comfort. I also handle small extras like bringing in mail, watering plants, or adjusting lights and blinds, if requested.

About: I’ve been pet sitting all animals since I was 12 years old. I work with puppies/kittens and senior dogs. I am a strong walker and feel confident with reactive and strong dogs. I have no official training but I work on basic commands with dogs and can work with whatever routine they need. I love both cats and dogs and have experience with animals that need extra care like medication. I work with about 5 families that I regularly pet and house sit for and I plan on doing walks for other houses during the day. However I am mostly at home with the pets and give them all the love and attention they deserve. Feel free to reach out with any questions or my experience. I take pride in putting families at peace of mind knowing I am taking such great care of their animals and home. I’m hoping to do more dog walking with Rover but currently am focused on pet sitting. I do have 5 other families I pet sit for off the app. and they do get priority. However, my schedule is very open at the moment. I take pet and house sitting very seriously. I care about the health and safety of animals, and I know how much families appreciate their home being cared for while they are gone. I am a very clean person and always make sure the house is as clean (if not more) as when you leave. There is this amazing feeling of relief to come home after being away, and seeing your happy animals and clean home. I take pride in providing that experience to all my clients. I also send a lot of pictures and videos of the animals to send to clients to assure everyone is happy and well cared for.

“Rylie was wonderful with our doggies, Rosie and Goose! She sent pictures and updates daily and was ver hands on with the dogs upon meeting them. Rylie left our home and yard perfectly clean! I highly recommend !”

About: I’ve been caring for animals most of my life and truly understand how much pets mean to their families. As a dedicated dog mom to two small dogs, I know firsthand the importance of providing attentive, loving care. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I treat every dog as if they’re my own. I have flexibility in my schedule as a remote worker and can provide a schedule that best suits your family and pets. I am free most majority of the holidays. I ensure that the environment is safe and comfortable for your pet. I will make sure that only appropriate toys are available for them and stick to your meal plan and times.

“Anne took wonderful care of our two year old doodle Zion for 5 days. She is a great communicator which put us at ease while we vacationed, sending texts and videos to us. She kept Zion busy on walks and playing games with him. We will use Anne in the future!”

“Erin is an incredible dog sitter / house sitter. Erin took such great care of our two big old boys, she gave them treats and love. I received pictures and updates everyday ! I wouldn't hesitate to have Erin watch my boys as she made them feel comfortable and less anxious!”

“Alison sat for our dog and two cats over 5 days. We were very nervous because our dog can be very reactive. However we got through our extended weekend without any issues. We do wish though that we got more updates with how our pets were while we were away. Our dog seemed to be healthy and happy when we got home. Big thanks to Alison. With her help we were able to enjoy our time away with minimal worrying.”

“Tom was very comfortable with Zane. He was able to connect with Zane and made him relax within in few minutes. We will definitely have Tom come over again to be with Zane.”

About: Hi! I'm Maddy, a lifelong animal lover and pet parent to-be, with an extra special place in my heart for, and great comfort level with both dogs and cats. Whether you're out of town or just need someone to drop by and give an extra hand, I’m here to give your pet the care and attention they're used to. I’ll stick to their routine, follow your instructions closely, and make sure they feel comfy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also love sending photo updates, so you can have extra reassurance your pet is in good hands (and also so you get your daily dose of their cuteness to hold you over until you're back together). I'd be happy to arrange an in-person or virtual meet or greet, so you can feel confident that we're a good match! Reach out any time :) I'm currently in graduate school and working from home - so I welcome the chance to meet and spend time with your pets - whether that's going for a walk or checking in on them in their cozy homes. All that to say, my schedule is very flexible the majority of the time! When I care for pets in their own home, I stick to the owner’s instructions to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I can offer feeding, playtime, walks, and any special care needed. I also treat your space with respect and make sure to leave everything just as you left it.

About: Hi! I'm Annie, a Bay Area creative with a lifelong passion for animal care. Growing up, I had the joy of caring for my own beloved pets - Fufu the poodle, Turtle the turtle, and Bibi the Siberian hamster. Each of them holds a special place in my heart and taught me how to provide attentive care for different types of animals. This hands-on experience has given me valuable insights into caring for different species and understanding their distinct personalities and requirements. I would love to provide dedicated pet sitting and walking services for your furry family members. I believe in giving each pet the same loving attention and care that I would give for my animal friends. Available for walks, home visits, and overnight stays, I'll ensure your dogs receive plenty of love, exercise, and companionship while you're away. From playful pups to senior sweethearts, I'm ready to give your dog the best care possible! With my part-time work schedule, I have plenty of availability to shower your pets with attention! I'm free Monday-Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm, perfect for midday walks, playtime, and check-ins. Your dog's safety is my top priority. We've got a securely fenced front and back yard, so your furry pal can romp and play to their heart's content without any worries. Our home is nice and roomy, with easy-to-clean wooden floors – perfect for dogs! We aim to create a super comfy and safe space where your dog can relax and feel right at home.

About: I am a huge dog lover and have experience taking care of puppies up to older dogs. My goal is to make every pup feel safe, loved, and at home even when their owners are away. I’m currently not working so I am free every day. Your dog would have all my attention. I am available any day of the week. I enjoy going on a lot of walks and am very active myself. I would be taking your dog out to the park or walks regularly!

Whether it's an energetic cat or a sleepy dog, she will care for your animal with the utmost attention to detail and love. Maddy is extremely respectful of people's space and time, and will always be prompt and communicative. Any pet-parent would be lucky to have Maddy watch their animal!”

Annie H.
“I have known Annie since we were 12 years old, having met at school. Annie has always been fun, outgoing, and full of energy. Growing up, we shared countless memories with my dog, Niuniu, a mixed-breed, along with two cats. Annie and I often walked Niuniu by the riverside or took her to the dog park. When my work required me to travel, I trusted Annie to dog-sit or board Niuniu, knowing she would care for her like family. As Niuniu grew older, she required special attention, including a diet of soft boiled sweet potatoes—her absolute favorite. Annie always followed these special instructions carefully, ensuring Niuniu ate well despite her aging appetite. We also began taking Niuniu out in a stroller as she became less mobile—especially helpful since my baby weighed at least 15 kilograms! Annie’s presence and assistance made these outings much easier and more enjoyable. Her patience and love for our senior dog were remarkable. Even as Niuniu slowed down with age, she would light up with joy and shower Annie with kisses whenever they saw each other. Annie’s warmth and care made her an irreplaceable part of Niuniu’s life and mine.”

I cannot say enough about how amazing Rylie was! Not only was she incredibly communicative prior to booking, during the stay, when I lost my phone, I was able to message her here and she responded immediately. My house was left better than I left it for her. I will definitely rebook and suggest you do the same!

Chase was flexible, a great communicator, and an enthusiastic caretaker for our dogs (big and small) while we were away on vacation. Thank you so much Chase!

Rupi was great with our dog and we'd definitely recommend her. Our dog is nervous and can be a lot to handle, but she was extremely patient and willing to work with her. She provided lots of updates and we could tell she was really paying attention to anything out of the ordinary.

I definitely recommend Anne and would use her again. She came over for meet and great and asked good questions, took notes and was attentive to our dog's routine. Her communication was good and fast and she sent lots of pics and videos which we appreciated.

Erin was wonderful and Ellwood took to her immediately! She did a great job house sitting and taking care of things while we were gone in addition to loving and caring for Ellwood. We will definitely be reaching out again. Thank you!!

Stephanie was great with Bella. Bella doesn’t like strangers, but she warmed up to Stephanie a little bit each day. Stephanie was reliable and the house was clean when I returned. She neatened up things too! I will definitely use Stephanie again.

Maya was an absolute lifesaver when I needed a last-minute sitter for my two Frenchies! She responded quickly, was incredibly accommodating, and provided the best care. Slava did an amazing job with our dog, Dexter. He had plenty of walks, kept our home in great shape and was flexible and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Slava and would not hesitate recommending him and using him in the future.

Julissa took great care of my fur babies – a 2 year old whippet who needs constant attention and an elderly cat with special needs (including insulin injections and oral meds). She gave them so much love and I came back from my trip to happy, healthy, pets! She sent frequent updates so I had peace of mind while away. I would 100% have Julissa house sit again!

We had a long weekend reservation for our trip to Florida, but hurricane Milton struck. So we canceled all our bookings at short notice and ended up changing our plans to a local weekend trip. But this was within the Rover cancellation/change window. Abhi worked with us on these late changes. Since this was our first booking with Abhi and there was a lot going on between late changes and his personal schedule, and everything was via text and not in-person, there were a few kinks at first. Things were sorted by day 2, and we are confident our experience will be smoother next time. We came home to a clean house and content puppers. Will book his services again! Thanks Abhi!
