“Between 2 dogs and taking care of my dad, vacation seemed impossible. Until I found Josh on Rover. He came over twice to meet the pups before we left. He gave updates, sent pictures, videos and took the best care of them. Great communication, trusting, always on time and very professional. I can’t say enough. Thank you Josh. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: My last pet was a blue nose pit, his name was Apollo. We got him when he was only 8 weeks old. I trained him and loved him dearly. He was such a big part of our family, He was a beautifulI soul! As he got older, even though it was hard to see his aging, I was grateful to be part of the process and be able to help him when times were rough. He left me with a void and a lot of love to give. I’m not quite ready for my own yet, but I would love to share my love and time with your fur baby. I have a pretty flexible schedule I work from home. My hours are 8 to 5. I take frequent breaks and I go on walks frequently. I’m a workout nut so I love to get outside and enjoy the day. I try to make sure that schedules are followed as well as incorporating activities when time permits I feel it’s very important for exercise. I always try to make sure that my visitors are comfortable and happy

“Payton was awesome! She sent lots of pictures, helped with learning how to walk my dog on a leash, and provided great tips and tricks for training. I will definitely be calling her again.”

About: I’m an animal lover who enjoys playing and cuddling with fur babies. I’m open to meeting the individual and unique needs of every animal I care for. I enjoy creating my own schedule and prioritize care into my routine to soothe, comfort, entertain and provide basic needs for every animal in my care. My availability are weekends and afternoons. “Alison recently house sat for us while we traveled out of town for a wedding and was absolutely wonderful! We have a senior cat and two dogs, who don't always take quickly to new people. Alison was extremely calm and patient with their initial barking antics until they settled. It's clear she's had experience with many types of animal personalities and is extremely comfortable as she gets to know new fur babies! She always responded quickly and clearly, kept us updated throughout our trip, and cleaned up flawlessly before leaving. We will definitely request Alison again! :-)”

“Our 2 dogs seemed very comfortable with Kenneth. He stayed at our house with them for a week and came back to healthy, happy dogs. (And our house seemed cleaner than when we left.) We would highly recommend him.”

About: I’ve worked at JK9 for 6+months, I have my own dog that, I love dearly so I know how important it is to, give a dog the best care possible. Everyday, I have my own dog. So daily dog care is part of my daily lifestyle and living. My dog is my child and I love her! I take my dog out, feed her, love her and keep my dog healthy. She is the most important thing to me, and I love doing everything I can to keep her happy.

About: Hey friends, old and new! My name is Erika and I am purrfectly pleased to be here! I can't wait to meet you and spend time together! Before that, let me tell your parents a little about myself so they know you are in the best hands! As someone who grew up in rural America, taking care of all kinds of animals was just a way of life. Once I grew up and left for the big city, I knew that love I had built over the years needed somewhere else to go. In 2012 I began volunteer work with a local rescue as a canine and feline socialization expert helping to prepare dogs and cats for their future homes and set them up for success. From there, I expanded my volunteer efforts to include adoption event handling, pet transportation, and short and long term fostering. In 2015 and 2016 respectively, I adopted two dogs of my own from the local pound, Maesie a small breed terrier mix, and Marah a medium size bully breed mix. Since their adoptions, Maesie and Marah have been the lights of my life and we have gone on countless adventures, road trips, to beaches, restaurants and bars, parks, and everywhere in between. They have also help me care for and socialize 9 foster dogs and over 20 foster cats and kittens since 2016 that have all since found wonderful new homes. One of the kittens even weaseled his way so deep in each of our hearts that I knew his new home had to be with us, and in 2021 Bo Beryl became the third and final edition to my little family. Through my extensive volunteer history, I have become skilled at caring for all different breeds, ages, and personalities of pets, as well as feel confident administering basic medical care including oral medications and basic pet first aid as well as have experience dealing with pets that have reactivity concerns. Now that Maesie and Marah are in their golden years at 10+, they much prefer the couch and an extra snack to walks and playtime 9/10 and have gladly told me they are willing to share their mom a little bit once again! When it comes to boarding, I have a separate room for your cat or dog to spend time in that my resident pets do not have access to. Cats will not interact with my personal pets. Dogs may or may not interact with my personal pets, depending on your preferences and needs. As a pet mom myself, I know how important it is to be able to trust someone with the care of your babies and can assure you that if you allow me that honor I will love them just like you do! I am a full time public school teacher which allows me primarily weekend and holiday flexibility, as well as afternoon/evening flexibility and early mornings as needed. During the week, I can typically do walks and check ins before school as early as 6am-6:30am, or in the afternoon anytime after 3pm until 10pm. I am flexible on weekends and major holidays/school holiday breaks. **FOR HOUSE SITTING ONLY** I offer semi-overnight services on Friday and Saturdays that include extended visits of 2 hours in the evening between 6pm-10:30pm, 60 minutes in the morning between 6am-10:10am as well as an afternoon relief break for 20 minutes between 10-2. Weekdays I offer semi-overnight services that typically include: A 20 minutes morning visit between 4am-6am, a 30 minute afternoon visit between 3pm-5pm, and a 2 hour bedtime visit between 6-930pm. Timing will align so that dogs are never left longer than 10 hours without a relief break. This schedule can also be modified to include shorter more frequent relief breaks/visits at 20 minutes each around 6am, 3pm, 6pm, and 9pm. Overnight hours run 24 hour segments so each booking includes one morning, evening, and two afternoon visits. Due to the nature of my business offering semi-overnight services, this option will work best for clients who are more shy or independent, or who may not need 24/7 care but would like to bundle and make the most out of their drop in time! Please inquire with any questions, happy to try my best to accommodate your needs! I understand that safety and trust are essential when allowing someone into your home to care for your pets. As someone working within the Public School System, you can rest assured that I take both safety and trust incredibly seriously and have completed multiple background checks and fingerprint checks outside of the Rover platform within the last 3 years. I have never been involved in any matters, criminally or civilly, and will put respect, cleanliness, and security at the forefront of my mind while servicing you and your pets needs for checkins and walks from your home.

“Syrina was absolutely outstanding! She definitely earned a place in my "circle of trust," so you should not hesitate to trust her with your pets and house-sitting needs. This past weekend (18-21 May 2025) was the first time I've ever hired a house and pet sitter so I could take a four-day trip. I was anxious about handing over my two Huskies and responsibility for the house to a woman I barely know, but she put me at ease, following every instruction to the letter, taking great care of Sissy and Moose, sending me frequent text updates and photos/videos of them, and leaving my home in better shape than when I left it. I highly recommend Syrina!”

About: I've been a teacher for 25 years and I like animals more than kids! Lololol!! I've had dogs, cats, fish, prairie dogs, hamsters - and 3 kids and 4 grandkids. Your babies are safe with me, I absolutely promise to take care of yours like I take care of mine. I am off for the summers, so I am very much available right now. Just came back from vaca, and no plans to go anywhere else so I am also available on the weekends! I can come to your home, I happen to have a roommate right now so bringing them to my home wouldn't be available at this moment.

“I am so grateful I found Duncan. After having a pretty horrible experience with another dog sitter, I had some hesitation leaving my dogs with someone new. Thankfully, Duncan fully understood my concerns and took care of Nola and Bailey and loved them like his own. He sent me updates and photos and took the time to understand their personalities. My Bailey is still a puppy and quite a handful but that did not scare Duncan at all. I came home to a clean home and two very happy pups. I would not hesitate to hire Duncan in the future! I’m already collecting dates for my next trip!”
