“Elke is great with our Chachi when we both have to work long days :) having her picked up and exercised is such a big help and she’s so good with her, even though she is a bit of a rambunctious pup!!”

About: I have had animals my entire life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years, I've cared for pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels-from high energy pups who need lots of playtime to older pets who prefer a slower pace and extra TLC. I'm well versed in basic pet first aid and always pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe capable hands. I know how important peace of mind is when you're away, and i take that responsibility seriously. At home, I have a very full (and very spoiled) house-one dog, two cats, and a guinea pig- so I'm used to managing different routines personalities and needs. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I'll treat them like one of my own-with plenty of attention, care and extra belly rubs! This is currently my main focus so i have a completely open schedule to accommodate pet parents that may need me at all hours based on their needs I have access to several dog friendly parks and trails near my home as well as a crew cab truck so even the largest dogs can enjoy a ride. I also keep a dog seatbelt and pet friendly steps in the truck in case anyone needs a little extra hand getting in
“We hesitated writing a review because, honestly, we’re selfish and don’t want his popularity to skyrocket, making it harder to book him! But he truly deserves it more than anyone on Rover. He’s amazing! Quick to respond, always on time, no matter the weather—whether it’s raining or ridiculously hot. We trust him 100%. He even has the code to our front door, comes in, gets the dogs, makes them happy, and brings them back exhausted (which is no easy feat with our two energetic GSPs). So, long story short—book him! You won’t regret it.”

About: I have had a dog since I was 5, she is currently 15. I care for her greatly and will do anything to keep her happy and healthy. I would do the same for anyone else's pet while their owner is away. I am available while I am home from college all the time. I am willing to take care of an animal to the best of my abilities any time of the day. I follow the instructions given by the owner very well so the change does not harm the animal. I have a fenced in backyard and one medium sized female dog. If boarding at my home, the dog(s) would need to be good with female dogs. I will ensure the dog is very well taken care of while in my care.
“Bri is great! I just moved to the area and I’m so glad I found her. Bri takes lots of photos during her visits and leaves great feedback and notes. I will continue to use Bri as my go to dog walker!”

“Tifaney takes such great care of my little guy Teddy. I can tell by the adorable photos she sends that his day is brightened when she comes by. She is also flexible if I need her to pop over an extra day during the week. I highly recommend Tifaney’s services.”

I do not wish for having client pets in my home due to my own dog ‘s nature of being hyperactive, but I can promise you that as a fellow dog lover, I will provide anything needed to your dog or dogs if needed just simply tell me how you take care of them and I will do the same.

About: Hello! 👋 Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both cats and dogs, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Providing a safe, loving, and happy environment for pets is something I truly enjoy. I currently care for dogs from two different families whenever they travel, and they love staying with me! One of the dogs has special needs and requires extra attention, including meals every four hours, feeding in a harness, and daily medication. I’m honored to be the only person outside of her immediate family that they trust with her care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, or simply relax, they’ll be treated like part of the family in my home. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. ❤️ Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! I currently work remotely full-time through September. After that, I’ll be a stay-at-home mom, which gives me even more flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for your pets. On weekdays, I take my child to school in the morning and return home by 8:30 a.m. School pickup is between 2:15–3:00 p.m., and we usually head straight home for homework and our evening routine. This means your pet will spend the majority of the day in a calm, loving home with plenty of attention. While I don’t have a fully fenced yard, I live in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for walks, potty breaks, and getting some fresh air. Inside my home, your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I use baby gates to keep certain areas, like my child’s playroom, off-limits, creating a safe and pet-friendly environment throughout the rest of the house.

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Having loved and handled animals since I was 8 years old, pet care is truly second nature to me. I’m incredibly flexible and dedicated to following your exact routine, whether that means high-energy playtime or long walks. I treat every dog as if they were my own and can’t wait to meet yours! I am currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and open blocks of time to dedicate to your pups. I usually work nights but not everyday so just reach out! I have one adopted dog who's been with me for a year, and a cat I've had for six years. Because I am a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to maintain your pet's normal routine, keep a close eye on their environment, and ensure all doors, gates, and leashes are completely secure while you are away.
About: I've owned and cared for all types of dogs. I've walked and cared for large and small. I've experenced easy, well trained to the most challenging. I love them all. I'm retired, so I can easily work in walks, drop-ins, and sittings during my days. Most days I'm available after 10 A.M., but I'm flexible. I only do care at the pet parent's house, and I follow the guidelines the pet-parent sets because routines are important for consistency. I will always respect your home.

Tifaney is awesome!! She took care of my babies as if they were her own. We did a meet and greet ahead of time, and the boys loved her. Will definitely be booking her again for my dog sitting needs!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
