About: I have had animals my entire life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years, I've cared for pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels-from high energy pups who need lots of playtime to older pets who prefer a slower pace and extra TLC. I'm well versed in basic pet first aid and always pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe capable hands. I know how important peace of mind is when you're away, and i take that responsibility seriously. At home, I have a very full (and very spoiled) house-one dog, two cats, and a guinea pig- so I'm used to managing different routines personalities and needs. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I'll treat them like one of my own-with plenty of attention, care and extra belly rubs! This is currently my main focus so i have a completely open schedule to accommodate pet parents that may need me at all hours based on their needs I have access to several dog friendly parks and trails near my home as well as a crew cab truck so even the largest dogs can enjoy a ride. I also keep a dog seatbelt and pet friendly steps in the truck in case anyone needs a little extra hand getting in
“Tamara helped me all week with my French bulldog. She was very punctual and communicative. My frenchie is very sweet but he can be stubborn, Tamara was patient with him. I will book her again in the near future! Highly recommended.”

“Jennifer is super sweet! My dogs took to her quickly on the meet and greet and you can tell she knows a lot about caring and training dogs! Great walk! Great notes! Will definitely book again.”
“Tifaney has been the best dog walker for my little dog Teddy for about the past 10 months or so. I always know he is going to get a nice walk in and some care and attention! I love all the photos I get of Teddy on his walks. Thanks Tifaney!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and other pets my whole life, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I have two cats of my own. Ultimately, I’m a passionate animal lover and will treat your fur-baby with all the love and respect they deserve :) I’m currently in grad school and doing an externship, so I’ll mainly be available Monday-Thursday after 4pm, Fridays and weekends. However, feel free to reach out because my schedule can vary. I treat every client's home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. I follow your pet's routine closely with feeding, walks, litter care, and playtime while making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I'm also mindful of keeping your home tidy and sending updates while you're away. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so both pets and their owners feel at ease.
About: I have had so many opportunities to take care of fur babies throughout my life! I lived in a farm for most of it but as an adult I have had my dog all through college up until now. I intentionally keep my schedule flexible so I can give each pet the attention they need. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love making sure every fur baby gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to keep that routine consistent while you're away. During visits, I'll provide fresh food and water, take your pet on walks or let them out for potty breaks, play with them, give them plenty of love and attention, and clean up after them as needed. I'll also make sure your home is respected and secure by following any instructions you leave. My goal is to help your fur baby feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in the place they know best.

“Rosemary has been an incredibly dependable and caring dog walker for my senior dog, Lola. She shows up on time, communicates clearly, and handles Lola’s aging needs with such patience and compassion. Her gentle bedside manner gives me real peace of mind, knowing Lola is in thoughtful and capable hands. I’m truly grateful for the care she provides and highly recommend her to anyone with an older or special-needs pup.”

About: I’m a proud pet parent to two wonderful companions: Garfield, my 10-year-old orange tabby cat, and Dexter, my energetic 2-year-old German Shepherd. I have owned various types of pets since I was a very small child - roughly 6 years old. I also frequently care for my mom’s dogs—an 11-year-old terrier mix and a 4-year-old Boston Terrier - who are both special needs. I’m comfortable juggling multiple pets with different needs and personalities while also caring for my own fur babies. I have previously owned and have plenty of experience with guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, pet chickens, and pet ducks. I have to say my favorite type of pet that I have personally owned has to be chickens. Since the age of 6 years old, I have raised chickens, gathered eggs, tended to eggs and incubators, and assisted my hens hatching and raising chicks on their own. I just find them so fascinating and adorable! The miracle of chicks hatching always fills me with so much happiness and pride! (I am interested in gaining new experience with new types of animals as well, such as sheep, cows, horses, fish, other birds, and reptiles. However, I do not have much experience with those types of animals - yet!) Pets are my top priority! I have plenty of time for your furry friend(s) within my schedule, as working with pets is my only job. I am available during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I keep my schedule updated with my current availability as often as possible, so if I happen to be fully booked or unavailable, you can see it in my calendar. My top priority is making sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved. I understand how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your fur baby, so I make it a point to keep you updated throughout each service with photos, videos, and messages. You can rest easy knowing your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I truly love all animals and have hands-on experience with cats and dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, including pets with special needs. I will ensure your fur baby gets the exercise, potty breaks, and affection they need when you are away!

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Having loved and handled animals since I was 8 years old, pet care is truly second nature to me. I’m incredibly flexible and dedicated to following your exact routine, whether that means high-energy playtime or long walks. I treat every dog as if they were my own and can’t wait to meet yours! I am currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and open blocks of time to dedicate to your pups. I usually work nights but not everyday so just reach out! I have one adopted dog who's been with me for a year, and a cat I've had for six years. Because I am a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to maintain your pet's normal routine, keep a close eye on their environment, and ensure all doors, gates, and leashes are completely secure while you are away.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have years of experience caring for my own pets as well as helping family and friends with theirs. I grew up in a home with four dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Now, as the owner of two spoiled indoor rescue cats, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feedings, medication, or simply extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. I’m dependable, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I typically work from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., which gives me plenty of flexibility in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, and on my days off for drop-in visits and dog walks. I’m committed to being dependable and working around your pet’s routine whenever possible. Whether they need exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also available for cat drop-in visits and understand the importance of keeping cats comfortable by maintaining their normal routine. I’ll send photo updates and messages after every visit so you always know how they’re doing. I’m currently offering drop-in visits, dog walking, and cat care, so your pets can stay comfortable in the familiar surroundings of their own home. As a cat mom to two rescue cats and someone who grew up with four dogs, I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box or waste cleanup, playtime, and any other routines that help your pet feel secure. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I’ll treat both with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
About: Hi there! I’m Carisa, professional belly-rub enthusiast and treat dispenser. I am excited to offer buy one get one free service for first time customers. This offer includes walks, drop in visits, and daycare services. After booking and paying for the first service you get another of equal or lesser value for free. I promise your pet will be very happy you picked me! I’ve had dogs and cats for most of my life and genuinely can’t imagine a world without them. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, that just means I have extra love, attention, and energy to give yours. I’m an active person who loves walks, hiking, exploring local parks, and spending time outdoors. If your pup enjoys adventure, we’ll be best friends. If your doggo prefers sniffing every blade of grass for 30 minutes straight, I fully support their investigative desires too. I understand that every dog has a unique personality. Some want to play fetch until your arm falls off, some want cuddles and reassurance, and some simply want a reliable human who shows up on time and keeps their routine consistent. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I also know how important communication is, so you can expect lots of updates, photos, and messages. If your pet does something adorable, ridiculous, or hilarious, there’s a very good chance you’ll receive photographic evidence. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, companionship while you’re away, or simply a new human friend, I’d love the opportunity to help! As a stay at home entrepreneur with a flexible schedule, pet care fits naturally into my day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop ins, house sitting, and pet care on weekdays and weekends. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet because they’re family, not just an animal. My goal is to make your pet feel like they’re hanging out with a friend rather than waiting for their owner to come home. I take safety seriously, follow routines carefully, and provide lots of updates, photos, and communication.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Turkey Creek
Alyssa was so great with my Mom’s mini golden doodle. She helped our family tremendously with morning and evening walks while my Mom recovered from a hospital stay. Our nervous pup quickly became comfortable with Alyssa and even improved her on leash behaviors throughout the week which is a lasting benefit to all of us. We highly recommend her.

Tifaney is awesome!! She took care of my babies as if they were her own. We did a meet and greet ahead of time, and the boys loved her. Tifaney did an amazing job with walking, feeding, cleaning up accidents, and giving medication to my dogs. She is also very flexible which I love! I cannot say enough good things about her. Will definitely be booking her again for my dog sitting needs!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
