Elke is great with our Chachi when we both have to work long days :) having her picked up and exercised is such a big help and she’s so good with her, even though she is a bit of a rambunctious pup!!
Elke has been absolutely incredible with my dog, Mr. Brooks. He’s a pretty anxious guy and doesn’t warm up to people easily, but she was patient, calm, and really took the time to earn his trust. You can tell she genuinely understands dogs and meets them where they are. From the start, she kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind. Mr. Brooks looked relaxed, comfortable, and honestly happier than I expected given how nervous he can be in new situations. It’s not easy finding someone you trust with a dog like him, but Elke exceeded every expectation. If you have a pup who needs a little extra care and understanding, she’s the one for you.
Elke (& Michael!) consistently go above and beyond with their care of our boy Benny. They help us with pickup/drop off, provide a strong routine for him, care and love him like their own, give him snuggles, give him food and treats as instructed, walks , lots of pictures of their adventures, and even a beautiful bow for Easter! Highly recommend Elke! Benny loves her and so do we.

Elke has been caring for my dog for the past 7 years, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her more highly. She treats pets like family, and I always feel completely at ease when my dog stays with her. Her home is clean, quiet, and welcoming, with a great backyard for safe outdoor time. It’s the perfect environment — calm and stress-free, not chaotic like some boarding setups. Elke is attentive, communicative, and clearly loves what she does. Her husband Michael is also wonderful and helps make the home feel even more warm and comfortable. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and experienced to trust with your pet, Elke is the one. She also takes the best photos!

Schedule
We're flexible for your fur-guest (s) and I can work around your schedule. My husband and I are retired and sometimes I take him along if permitted. He has that magic touch if yours is anxious.

Pets
A typical day
We own 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel if you are planning on boarding. Our day starts very early but by all means pets are welcome to sleep in. A basket full of toys (soft, hard, little, big, learning and squeaking something for anyone is always available, but can be put away. We don't allow pets in our bed's since its fully occupied with our 2 kids. 🤣
