About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life, so I genuinely understand what it means to care for them as part of the family. My professional background further strengthens this passion: I've worked as a kennel technician, a vet assistant, and I'm currently a vet tech. Plus, I have experience pet sitting, so I'm comfortable stepping into that role. This means I'm not just a dog lover, but also skilled in understanding canine behavior, providing proper care, and recognizing any health needs. Your dog's safety and well-being will always be my top priority. Working in the vet industry as a vet tech allows me to spend 4-5 days a week surrounded by adorable dogs and cats. And when I’m at home, I take great care of my own fur babies too. It's clear that my love and passion for animals shines through in everything I do! Your pets' safety and well-being will always be my top priority. When I'm caring for pets in a client's home, the focus is on maintaining their familiar routine and environment as much as possible. I'll come to your home for scheduled visits or overnight stays, making sure your dogs and cats stick to their usual feeding schedule, walks, playtime, and cuddle time. This minimizes stress for them. I also take care of other household tasks like bringing in mail, watering plants, and ensuring the house looks lived-in for security. Again, my vet tech experience means I'm adept at spotting any health concerns, administering medications, and providing a high level of observant, compassionate care. In both scenarios, regular communication with you, including updates and photos, is a priority so you always know your furry family members are happy and well cared for.
About: Grew up with dogs (dachshunds, German Shepard, mutts) . Have 3 grand dogs (Quinn & Archie, Jack Russells, Maggie tree hound), who I love spending time with back in Massachusetts. Unfortunately we recently lost Quinn due to age and illness. I know he is waiting at the Rainbow bridge for us along with Sasha, Truffles, Harry, Solo, Skippy, Maestra, Toi, Chichi, Heathcliff and the other birds, turtle, goldfish that I loved in the past. I miss being with them and would love to spend time with dogs again. For past 24 years have been mother to several cats who are my furry children. I understand that dogs are not just our pets, but family members that you love like children. I am also available for cat sitting, including feeding, brushing, playing, cleaning litter boxes.
About: With over 9 years of experience in the pet care industry, I've had the pleasure of working in various settings, including veterinary clinics, pet resorts, shelters, and grooming salons. My extensive experience has given me a unique understanding of the needs of animals of all shapes and sizes. I'm a patient and compassionate individual who is committed to providing top-notch care for your beloved pets. My dependability and love for animals make me an ideal candidate for pet sitting or dog walking services. I'm excited about the opportunity to bring joy and comfort to your pets as their next sitter or walker! I work full time as a veterinary assistant at a local clinic in Lakeland. I will be available at various times throughout the week to take care of your pets! I'm delighted to offer flexible services in the comfort of your home. Above all I prioritize your pets' safety and well-being, I strive to provide a fun and relaxing experience for both you and your furry companions.

About: I have had a dog since I was 5, she is currently 15. I care for her greatly and will do anything to keep her happy and healthy. I would do the same for anyone else's pet while their owner is away. I am available while I am home from college all the time. I am willing to take care of an animal to the best of my abilities any time of the day. I follow the instructions given by the owner very well so the change does not harm the animal. I have a fenced in backyard and one medium sized female dog. If boarding at my home, the dog(s) would need to be good with female dogs. I will ensure the dog is very well taken care of while in my care.

Ive also taken care of many animals of many ages in life. I am mostly always free! I am a student just earning money and experience to become a future veterinarian. I have a great passion for all things animal related so I hope to have the greatest opportunity to take care of your pets! (Hablo español) (I cannot stay overnight!) I am currently a student just earning money and studying. So I am almost always free! (unless my parents planned something.) If anything comes up I will always let you know! About: Hi there! I'm Vely (pronounced vee-lie) a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer and with the help of my dog loving husband Dan, we're here to give you peace of mind with the best care for your pup. We know what it's like when you need to go out of town or on vacation and you want to make an exceptional choice for your 4 legged family member(s). A place where you can ensure, your pup gets adequate exercise, fresh air, and socialization. At our home, your pup will get to roam around (supervised, of course) a 1/4 acre fenced backyard of open space. Your pup will for sure get the zoomies! Your dog will never feel alone as we have 3 dogs of our own. If your pup desires quiet time and wishes to relax away from other dogs, we have puppy gates where they can have part of the house all to themselves. We understand dogs and can accommodate to their needs. As an added bonus, our clients have always mentioned they love the quality of pictures I take for daily updates. See my photo gallery for all the smiling faces. A little about me-- I am also certified in pet first aid/ CPR. I’m currently taking a course to be a certified dog enrichment technician. On my free time I enjoy researching and gaining more knowledge about dog training and behavior. They're my passion and I will care for yours as if they're my own. I started out as a self taught positive reinforcement trick trainer. I've trained my toy Aussie and Border Collie dog sports and stunt tricks. You can see some of my work on Instagram at mr.wilson_toyaussie. As of April 2024, I’m a certified professional dog trainer specializing in puppy training, obedience behaviors, tricks, and mild reactivity. I graduated from Catch Canine Trainers Academy with honors and a mentorship with the owner of Courteous Canine. I also have experience at a grooming salon. My husband is a business owner in the car industry while working out of our home. On his spare time, he loves learning new things and hanging out at home with the dogs. On evenings and weekends you can usually find us either walking our dogs around downtown or at various parks. Bonnet Springs Park is our favorite! Please be aware of the extra charge for the holiday and puppy price. In the Services Box, click on “see additional services and rates.” **All dogs must be friendly. They don't have to engage with other dogs, but must be able to coexist peacefully with others especially large dogs with small dogs. I have separate gated areas in my home and can group dogs together by size, temperament levels, etc. depending on the dog's needs. **Please review the cancellation policy: A full refund is available ONLY if canceled by 12 PM three days before the service begins.** Dan and I are dog lovers with no kids and 3 obedient dogs. I'm usually home and Dan works out of our home so we make a great team taking care of all the pups here. We are flexible and willing to work with your schedule. We have a privacy fenced in 1/4 acre yard for plenty of exercise and room to run and sniff. I love playing fetch if your pup is into that. Your pup will always be supervised and NEVER left unattended outside. I closely monitor dog introductions and take note of their body language. If their energy levels don't match and one becomes overbearing to another, I can keep them separated in a gated area. If a dog plays too rough, I referee accordingly. My goal is to ensure all dogs are happy and comfortable during their stay. Crate trained is preferred for adult dogs, but not required as long as they are completely potty trained (1-2 accidents are fine), isn't destructive, and can stay within a gated area when needed. All puppies less than a year must be crate trained as they will be sleeping in a crate overnight for their safety. All of my dogs are crate trained, so I can put them in off mode if your pup wants his/her individual playtime. If you have any special needs or routines I will be happy to accommodate. Additional services: Dog bath: $25 (under 25 lbs), $35 (25-40 lbs) Nail grind: $15 (small-med dogs), $20 (large dogs) 30 min 'sniff walk' at the park - $10

We had a very last minute booking request and Samantha came through for us! Not only that, but she considered our husky (when we had left late) and offered to stagger the prescheduled walks to balance them out better for him. She'll definitely be my first call in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
