“Our girls may be a little spoiled but Josh treats them as his own, keeps them in their routine and they love him. I trust him with my pets and my home. Thank you Josh!!”

“Elke is absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our dog while we were away. She was communicative and punctual, sending regular updates, cute photos, and making sure our pup was happy, healthy, and loved. It’s clear she truly cares about animals and goes above and beyond to make both pets and owners feel at ease. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter, highly recommend!”

“Angie took care of our dogs as if they were her own. Our incredibly skittish rescue warmed to her almost immediately, which is an absolute first. Have no hesitations about booking Angie.”

“Tifaney was remarkable, she kept us informed with pictures everyday. It was a blessing to know that are 4 legged family was WELL taking care of ! She has a heart of gold and a kindness that exceeds. We give her stars > to many to count. We will definitely request her if we travel again. Thanks so much Tifaney…❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Olivia was amazing! This was our first time using Rover. Our baby boy, Emerson Roy, has a traumatic past as a shelter rescue. He is extremely shy and nervous around new people and it takes him a long time to trust and recognize safe humans especially if mom and dad are not present. Olivia accommodated all of our requests and went by Emerson’s pace. She gave him space, while also talking to him and comforting him. Her communication was 10/10, she was always on time, extremely responsive, and gave us reassurance while we were out of state. We will continue to book her for our sitting needs. On top of her skills as a pet sitter, she is so warm, funny, personable, and caring. She asked all of the right questions at the meet and greet (including safety/emergency planning), and even left a pair of shoes and a sweatshirt so that Emmy could warm up to her scent a week before our booking time. Olivia went above and beyond to provide excellent care. We plan to frequently book her (even if we aren’t going out of town) so that Emmy gets even more used to her for whenever we go out of town next. We are so grateful! ♥️🐾 highly recommend!”

“Sabrina was so kind and caring for all of our dogs, they loved her instantly. Thank you so much for taking care of them, we will 100% use you again in the near future❤️”

“Tamara did a fantastic job. She kept in constant contact during visits. Asked questions about my kitties peculiarities to make sure nothing was wrong and sent great pics.”

“Pennie was very professional at our meet & greet. Sent pictures of both my cats with updates. She also did additional things for me—getting mail & watering tomato plant.”

My flexible schedule also allows me to accommodate pets with specific routines or preferences. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets in my home. About: Hello! 👋 Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both cats and dogs, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Providing a safe, loving, and happy environment for pets is something I truly enjoy. I currently care for dogs from two different families whenever they travel, and they love staying with me! One of the dogs has special needs and requires extra attention, including meals every four hours, feeding in a harness, and daily medication. I’m honored to be the only person outside of her immediate family that they trust with her care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, or simply relax, they’ll be treated like part of the family in my home. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. ❤️ Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! I currently work remotely full-time through September. After that, I’ll be a stay-at-home mom, which gives me even more flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for your pets. On weekdays, I take my child to school in the morning and return home by 8:30 a.m. School pickup is between 2:15–3:00 p.m., and we usually head straight home for homework and our evening routine. This means your pet will spend the majority of the day in a calm, loving home with plenty of attention. While I don’t have a fully fenced yard, I live in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for walks, potty breaks, and getting some fresh air. Inside my home, your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I use baby gates to keep certain areas, like my child’s playroom, off-limits, creating a safe and pet-friendly environment throughout the rest of the house.

About: I have experience with both cats and dogs. I am Fear Free certified and am a certified veterinary assistant. I have also volunteered at the Pet resource center and at Blue pearl pet hospital. So, if your pet has any medication they need to take, I can help with that too. I'm a stay at home mom, I drop my kids off at school early in the morning and pick them up at noon. My husband works from home, so I don't worry about my children and am available pretty much throughout the day to take care of your pets. Occasionally I'm out weekends, but it's not so often. I will always slowly introduce myself to the pets I'm caring for and ensure them that I am there to take care of their needs.
About: When I was in high school I took 3 years of veterinary technician class and got my cva. I’ve worked at a vet clinic taking care boarding and hospital pets for 4 years. I’ve own my own dogs and even fostered some. I’m currently unemployed but I am a single mother so I have plenty time for any scheduling and time for your furry babies. At the moment I’m available for most times. I don’t have a fenced in yard and I have a roommate, who has a cat, and two young children so I won’t be providing any boarding services at my home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Plant City
This was our second time booking with Bri, and once again - she was fantastic! She went above and beyond bringing packages in, keeping his food and litter area spotless, and even made an extra trip to give him pets because he was napping during her visit that day. We really appreciate how thoughtful and caring she is and will definitely continue booking with her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
