Indie was sick with cancer, and undergoing treat meats at the time (which made it doubly hard to look after her....giving her chemo tablets on detailed schedule, and then making sure she was walked (because...needing to pee a lot!) We found Jenn to be caring, supportive and very good at following the protocol. More importantly, my old girl clearly loved her, and the attention Jenn lavished on her. Jenn was very communicative, and sent texts and photos of our dog while we were away. She didn't hesitate to contact us with any question or concerns, which added to our confidence that she was truly caring about Indie. Jenn had her own old dog, and I assume this is why she was so good with ours. Whatever the reason, I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again, if Indie were still with us (unfortunately, we have no need of a dog sitter any longer, as the cancer got the better of Indie in the end).”

Her communication was spot on. She was extremely respectful of my pup, my home, and my instructions. She even had a back-up plan in place when an emergency came up. She left my home extremely clean and tidy and made sure my travel plans had not changed or been delayed to ensure my dog was cared for until I returned home. Having been raised with dogs Mackenzie understands their personalities, how to engage with them and it shows. Play time and snuggle time are priorities. I'm not sure who gets more out of their walks, Casey or Mackenzie! Mackenzie is prompt and reliable too. And don't be surprised if she has a treat or two in her pocket for your dog. My husband and do not hesitate to recommend Mackenzie to take care of your dog as well.”

About: I've worked on the animal industry for over 20 years. I started out working in pet retail,. I then decided that this is what I wanted to do but I never really did it and I am taking it in full force now I have always had animals that I have cared for for friends. I've had cats and recently dogs. I work with animals helping people find animals to adopt that fit into there lifestyle. I have many of my own to care for I have watched houses and brought in their mail and water through yards as well as fed there Birds. I'm comfortable around all animals due to the fact that I've always worked with them in my life. I worked in a shelter, where I gave medication, vaccines and specialized diets for sick animals.
