About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: I am often characterized as a compassionate person, and that I extend that care to animals as well. For most of my life I’ve learned that are family, and family is never felt behind. Pets deserve a good friend. I currently don’t have a job. But I do study for three days a week. I’d be best for part time. Four out of seven days a week. I follow whatever routine and set up pet owners have, since all dogs have their own life and personality. I routinely check for cleanliness of a pet and proper mental stimulation.

About: I’ve been taking care of homes & pets since I was 11 years old. I always make sure there is a safe environment and room for a pet to be themselves. I look forward to caring for your sweet animals!:) I currently work part time and am home quite a bit so I have ample time to spend with your dog. I also have a massive backyard with grass area, plants, and a pool if they like swimming. My priority is to make sure that your pet feels comfortable around me regardless of the environment. I believe that once the pet feels safe with its caretaker, then the environment doesn’t play a huge role.

In our free time alone, my dog Yeager and I like to go on adventures hiking and camping together. When I care for your dog, they will have all the love, play, and attention they need since I am at home full time. I am at home full time to care for your pet. I have a flexible schedule to maintain a safe environment and give them all of the attention they need. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog. I can keep the dogs separated if needed and can crate your dog if they are crate trained (please provide your crate).

I follow care instructions exactly, keep routines consistent, and communicate clearly with daily updates and photos. I’m especially attentive to each dog’s behavior and energy level, making sure they get the right balance of play, rest, and care while you’re away. Pet care fits into my routine in a very consistent and flexible way. I naturally build my schedule around reliability and attention to detail, so I’m used to checking in on responsibilities throughout the day rather than letting things pile up. On a daily basis, I can dedicate time in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and any needed check-ins on weekends. Evenings during the week. I’m good at adjusting my schedule to match the pet’s routine, whether that means early morning walks or evening drop-ins. On a weekly level, I plan ahead so I can make sure I’m available for longer care periods like overnights or multiple visits per day. I’m also comfortable being consistent with routines like medication schedules, exercise, and keeping the pet’s environment clean and safe. Overall, I treat pet care like a real responsibility, not something I “fit in” when convenient I structure my time around it to make sure the pet stays comfortable and cared for. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping the pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow the instructions exactly as provided feeding schedule, portion sizes, walk times, medication (if any), and any specific behavior or care notes about the pet. For daily care, I make sure the pet gets attention, exercise, and interaction, not just basic needs. That can include walks, playtime, accidents if needed, refreshing water, and making sure the home is kept tidy and secure while I’m there. I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I pay attention to how the pet is acting so I can notice any changes in mood, appetite, or behavior and communicate that right away if something seems off. I don’t just “stop by and do tasks” I treat it like I’m temporarily responsible for the pet’s wellbeing and comfort, and I make sure they feel calm and cared for while their owner is away.

About: I’ve been the family baby/dog sitter since I was 13! My whole family have always had pets and relied on me to take care of them! I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dog for several years enthusiastically. I’ve always found dogs to be the closest comfort, which is a reason to trust me. I’d take care of your dog like my own, as I hold them mine very close to my heart. I have a part time job working with kids, so I’m very available to book! I’m fully available four days of the week and I always have time to spend with your fur friends before and after work. In my home, I occasionally use a crate for my german shepherd, most of the time he is loose. He’s gotten accustomed to sleeping on my bed or my parent’s bedroom and we feed him early in the morning. Following his morning meal is a long walk. We make sure he’s well groomed with daily brushing and a wash once a week. Levi has allergies so we make sure to always apply topical remedies and purchase a high quality kind of dog food.

About: I am an animal lover who wants to make your animals feel save and loved 🤗. I’ve always had pets growing up and I currently pet sit for multiple families. I house and pet sit for short and long term needs, and am looking to expand my client base! Im currently going to school at Bakersfield College Monday-Wednesday! I will not be able to be home with your animals all day, but I will come and go when needed to make you and your animal feel comfortable. I will take care of your pet exactly as you would, following any house rules or boundaries you have set and make sure your pet gets the best care possible while I am there.
