About: I always been around animals since I was little, either it been my friends, neighbors, or strays. But every animal would get love and care from me. I only owned a pet for a day due to family issues but always wished I could have pets of my own. I am currently available part time, for me and brother share a car for work. I am also restarting school so I am able to work with the owners on a scedule. When ever I go to my friends house, I always make sure I follow the rules my friends have for the pets. About: Hi! I’m Payton, and I am a member of The International Cat Association (TICA). I have many years of hands-on experience caring for and showing cats of many different breeds and personalities. From ages 16 to 20, I helped manage the day-to-day care of a multi-cat cattery, where I cared for kittens, breeding cats, and retired show cats. My experience includes feeding specialized diets, administering medications, grooming, nail trims, litter box maintenance, monitoring health and behavior, and maintaining consistent routines for multiple cats. About: I've always taken care of my family or friends animals when they were away. I was was in a program in ROC called the vet tech program. Where I learned about dogs,cats, and other animals. I learned how to probably take care of animals and how to handle emergency. I also learned about Animal nutrition, Animal restraint, and Animal grooming. Pet care fits into my daily or weekly routine since I am unemployed and have a lot of free time looking for ways to make money. The way I care for pets in clients homes is by making sure the dog has food, water, and taken outside to relief themselves. I play the pets to let them let out energy and have fun. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.
