“Rocky can be a picky dog, with humans and dogs. When I dropped him off for daycare I was so nervous that he wouldn’t play nice and would wreak havoc. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I picked him up and they said he did great. By the time we got home, he was snoring away. Jill and Liz did great with Rocky and he will definitely be back! Big plus for sending me a photo after about 30 minutes assuring me he was fine :)”

“Highly recommend her! My family and I always worry on who we leave our dog with, we try to look for the best person that can fit oreo. She was very nice and did send me many photos of him while on his stay. My family and I know when our dog feels sacred of the person, and when she sended us photos our dog looked happy and relaxed. And especially her doggos who are also very nice. I know for sure my dog enjoyed his stayed there!”

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

When I dropped Beau off I had forgotten a water bowl and Jess had extra supplies for all my pups needs. During beaus time with Jess I got as many updates as requested and there was very clear communication and a timely response which help kill off the anxiety of leaving my pup! About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I am a stay at home mom and I also work from home. Working from home gives me flexibility to be able to be there for your pets. In my home or your home your pets safety and well being is my top priority. I will treat your pets with the same love l treat mine with. I believe pictures and videos are important to provide to show you how your pet is doing. I also send updates about your pets like what they’ve been up to and if I have concerns I definitely would let you know. I do live in a one bedroom apartment but I have a front yard I can take your dogs out for fresh air and to use the bathroom.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 I love animals and always make sure they are cared for I would love to take care of dogs it’s truly a passion to me. I am currently studying to be a dental assistant and I have two dogs that I always spend time with on my free time I love going on walks with them.
