About: Growing up, I had two dogs starting at age 10, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding canine behavior and needs. I learned how to train them, manage their energy levels, and ensure they were well-socialized. Since moving out on my own at 18, I've continued my passion for pet care by having one dog and one cat. This experience has allowed me to develop skills in caring for multiple types of pets, including feeding, grooming, and providing companionship. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. I always ensure that my home is a secure environment, free from hazards, and I’m vigilant during walks to keep them safe from traffic and other dangers. I’m comfortable with daily walks, playtime, and administering any necessary medications while keeping a close eye on their well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for your pets, ensuring they feel at home while you’re away. I currently work a full time job. However Im still available every weekend , weekday and holidays for walks , check ins and more ! I always ensure that my home is secure, checking for any potential hazards like open windows, toxic plants, or small objects they could swallow. I keep cleaning supplies and other harmful substances out of reach. When it comes to playtime, I use safe toys and supervise their play to prevent any accidents. I also make sure to provide a safe space for them to retreat to, especially if they feel stressed or overwhelmed. During walks or outdoor time, I’m very cautious about their surroundings, ensuring they are kept on a leash if necessary, and I monitor them closely at all times. I’m experienced in administering medications and keeping track of their health, ensuring they stay safe and comfortable. My goal is to provide a loving and secure environment for your pet, making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I current have a dachshund mix puppy, Milky Way. I previously had a terrier mix rescue named, Rolo. I have also owned bunnies, birds, and turtles. I have walked husky’s, german sherphards, yorkie, pitt bulls, Rottweilers, terriers, and retrievers. I love dogs I wish I could be surrounded by dogs all the time. I am also a nanny and have been working with kids since I was in school. I’m originally from Virginia, but grew up in Los Angeles. I love being outdoors; hiking, cycling, or hanging out at the beach. As of right now, I am really open because I just moved to Bakersfield. I’ve given my own dog and the family I nanny for baths. I look forward to hearing from you!! I find the dogs interest; ball, kong, squeaky toys, walks and use their interest to help them get their energy out and to help stimulate their personal needs

About: I’ve taken care of multiple pets before and even had my own. I taken care of pets for a year in 2025 and now I’m wanting to start taking of them again. I’m currently working a part time job and looking for another job to make a little extra money on the side to save up for my car. I just graduated high school and just looking to take care of any animals. I used to have two dogs that I would walk, clean, and exercise with everyday, I also feel very comfortable with patients new animals and can easily adjust to new environments.

About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. I'm very comfortable taking care of senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. When my childhood dog was attacked, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. At 14 years old, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. In addition to dogs, I've taken care of geckos, an iguana, fish, water turtles, parakeets and cockatiels. I'm happy to care for any type of animal. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

About: Pets are part of my life, as family❤️ I grew up in a farm & now I love to keep furr babies around me 🐶🤗🐾 I’m a full time student who loves spending free time along with furr babies :) I’m mainly available on the weekends starting from Friday evening and in the beginning of the week. In my home, I occasionally use a crate for my german shepherd, most of the time he is loose. He’s gotten accustomed to sleeping on my bed or my parent’s bedroom and we feed him early in the morning. Following his morning meal is a long walk. We make sure he’s well groomed with daily brushing and a wash once a week. About: I'm definitely an animal magnet...I love being around animals. I will love and spoil them as if they are my own furbabies! They will never be left alone. About: I’ve had animals my entire life. At age 11 I took over the majority of the care of my cats, dogs, chickens, llama, and guinea pig. I have cared for many special needs and senior cats and dogs. I have fostered several litters of kittens as well and all the special needs kittens have been foster fails. I absolutely adore senior critters most of my childhood cats lived to the age of 16 to 19 so I learned to appreciate the time I get with them. My experience with special needs animals includes, many kittens that were born with genetic difficulties, such as heart and breathing issues, compromised immune systems and limb deformities. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.
