About: I’ve taken care of multiple pets before and even had my own. I taken care of pets for a year in 2025 and now I’m wanting to start taking of them again. I’m currently working a part time job and looking for another job to make a little extra money on the side to save up for my car. I just graduated high school and just looking to take care of any animals. I used to have two dogs that I would walk, clean, and exercise with everyday, I also feel very comfortable with patients new animals and can easily adjust to new environments.

About: I am an animal lover who wants to make your animals feel save and loved 🤗. I’ve always had pets growing up and I currently pet sit for multiple families. I house and pet sit for short and long term needs, and am looking to expand my client base! Im currently going to school at Bakersfield College Monday-Wednesday! I will not be able to be home with your animals all day, but I will come and go when needed to make you and your animal feel comfortable. I will take care of your pet exactly as you would, following any house rules or boundaries you have set and make sure your pet gets the best care possible while I am there.

About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of a dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

I have been taking care of all types of animals especially dogs and cats since as far back as I can remember! I love caring for all types of animals and have references. Pet care fits into my routine in a very consistent and flexible way. I naturally build my schedule around reliability and attention to detail, so I’m used to checking in on responsibilities throughout the day rather than letting things pile up. On a daily basis, I can dedicate time in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and any needed check-ins on weekends. Evenings during the week. I’m good at adjusting my schedule to match the pet’s routine, whether that means early morning walks or evening drop-ins. On a weekly level, I plan ahead so I can make sure I’m available for longer care periods like overnights or multiple visits per day. I’m also comfortable being consistent with routines like medication schedules, exercise, and keeping the pet’s environment clean and safe. Overall, I treat pet care like a real responsibility, not something I “fit in” when convenient I structure my time around it to make sure the pet stays comfortable and cared for. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping the pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow the instructions exactly as provided feeding schedule, portion sizes, walk times, medication (if any), and any specific behavior or care notes about the pet. For daily care, I make sure the pet gets attention, exercise, and interaction, not just basic needs. That can include walks, playtime, accidents if needed, refreshing water, and making sure the home is kept tidy and secure while I’m there. I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I pay attention to how the pet is acting so I can notice any changes in mood, appetite, or behavior and communicate that right away if something seems off. I don’t just “stop by and do tasks” I treat it like I’m temporarily responsible for the pet’s wellbeing and comfort, and I make sure they feel calm and cared for while their owner is away.

About: I am a college student who is also a barista and a full time dog lover. I used to have two of my own dogs, but sadly they have passed Not only have I taken care of my own dogs, but neighbor's dogs and I have accompanied my mom to drop in visits for dogs. Whether big or small, I can handle the size of your dog. As a working college student my availability always changes, but feel free to reach out and I’m happy to work something out. I can multitask and do whatever you need me to do in regards of your dog/cat including grooming and belly rubs. My schedule for work is all over the place and my schedule for school is adaptable as I’m an online student. On days that I work I can check in on your dog before and after I go in. For walks I’m available after my shifts or before I am closing. House sitting if you allow me I can leave from your place to my job. I no longer have pets, but whenever I am with friends their pets get my full attention. I always pet them or play catch inside and out, depending on the house.

About: I've had pet dogs of different sizes across my life, and I've met very few dogs that didn't get along with eventually. I volunteer time at a local animal shelter to walk and play with the dogs there that need it. I have an open routine at the moment, so I am able to accomodate your schedule. My pets are used to walking at odd hours in the summer, so I'm sure they won't mind 😁 This should be pretty straightforward, as I'm offering walking and home visits. I will not board dogs, as my other pups don't like the intrusion.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats, dogs, lizards, and bunnies! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I work during the day time usually from 8-1 or 9-3. I can fit late afternoon and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands into my day if that’s what you’d like. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

About: I have experience and patience to deal with dogs. My house is well maintenance and have a big yard for dogs to run around and play I have the time to do it. They just need to let me know with time what days and times will they drop off and pick up I keep them in a save enviroment. Feed them as told by per owner. Will have them in good care. And I have the time to care for the dogs and take them for a walk

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I Love dogs and will give them their best care and treat them well while having fun with them I am currently not working so I would have the time and need to spend time with puppies or any type of dog. I will treat them with love and respect and have them good like if they were my own dogs. I have a fence yard and I have 3 lovely dogs that would be a good company for your dogs. About: I’ve volunteered at the shelters for several years. I participated in their cruising canines program that had me take a shelter pup out weekly for a few hours to burn energy. This includes going for walks, swimming, going to get a puppacino or just cruising in the car and wind surfing! I’ve taken all dog sizes and am physically fit enough to take on larger dogs. I’ve had animals of my own since I was 7 years old. This included ducks, pigs, dogs, cats and geese! I currently have 3 dogs of my own. I love any chance to meet new animals! I live a very active lifestyle and fitness is a huge part of my daily routine. I have 4 dogs of my own and understand how a pet is more than just a pet, they are a family member! I work from home as a seamstress, which allows for my schedule to be very flexible. Last minute bookings to planned bookings work for me! All of my dogs are inside dogs. They are treated with the same care as humans, if not more. Comfort is top priority for my animals and I understand every pet will require something different. No 2 animals are the same and volunteering at the shelter has helped me learn that quickly! I feel I am very good at a reading the situation and would never do anything to make an animal feel uncomfortable.
