About: Hi everyone! Welcome to my page! My name is Vanessa. I am currently a student looking to fuel my passions for animal care as my side hobby. I worked as a bather for 2 years at PetsMart before changing professions. I would love to care for your furry baby and will ensure patience is practiced. :333 🧡 I currently have three pooches: a Pomeranian named Kobe, a Shimu named Muki, and a Flat coated named Erza. I am on the journey to being an educator and in the meantime, still want to keep my passions for animals alive and I feel Rover is a great fit for that. 🫶🏾 Currently, I am on summer break so my availability is full time and same day right now! If you need a moments notice, I am available! Currently, I have 3 dogs in my home and a crested gecko. I have a doggy door and so my doggies are able to come in and out as they please especially due to the hot weather right now!

About: I am a college student who is also a barista and a full time dog lover. I used to have two of my own dogs, but sadly they have passed Not only have I taken care of my own dogs, but neighbor's dogs and I have accompanied my mom to drop in visits for dogs. Whether big or small, I can handle the size of your dog. As a working college student my availability always changes, but feel free to reach out and I’m happy to work something out. I can multitask and do whatever you need me to do in regards of your dog/cat including grooming and belly rubs. My schedule for work is all over the place and my schedule for school is adaptable as I’m an online student. On days that I work I can check in on your dog before and after I go in. For walks I’m available after my shifts or before I am closing. House sitting if you allow me I can leave from your place to my job. I no longer have pets, but whenever I am with friends their pets get my full attention. I always pet them or play catch inside and out, depending on the house.

About: I have taken care of many different species of animals since I was a child; such as birds, cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, and rabbits. I can provide senior care as well. My neighbors, friends, and family members have relied on my service over the years. I am currently unemployed so I can focus on my time on your beloved pet any day of the week. I don't need very much notice to take care of your pet. I try to maintain the same environment that your pets are used to. I will stay on the same meal time schedule that they are normally on. Same with potty breaks and walks.

About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. I'm very comfortable taking care of senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. When my childhood dog was attacked, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. At 14 years old, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. In addition to dogs, I've taken care of geckos, an iguana, fish, water turtles, parakeets and cockatiels. I'm happy to care for any type of animal. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

About: I’m 20 years old with a career path of becoming a veterinarian. I have lots of experience with dogs, as I have two of my own, and I’m a really big animal person. I typically watch over friends’ and family’s dogs, which I have a blast doing. I like going to dog parks and going on runs, as I’m a very active person. I have experience with drop-ins, making sure they are fed, played with, and well taken care of. I also have experience With overnight stays! I’m a very flexible and spontaneous person! My schedule is three things: school, part-time work, and the gym. Making time to care for, feed, walk, and play with animals is no problem. As for taking dogs on walks, that would fit naturally into my routine. On my days off, I would have extra time to give the pet more attention and care. Pet care is something I generally enjoy and something I would look forward to doing as well, since it is the career path I’m pursuing. :) care for pets by making sure they have fresh water and are fed the appropriate amount of food, depending on how much the owner usually feeds them. I’ll follow the pet’s daily routine as closely as possible. I’ll make time to take them with me on runs for exercise, provide plenty of playtime, and give them bathroom breaks whenever needed. Respecting my client’s home and space is very important, as is making sure I treat their pet the same way I treat my own dogs!

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for cats, dogs, lizards, bunnies and more! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I work two other jobs but I make my own schedule so I can fit late afternoon and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands into my day if that’s what you’d like. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

About: I care for my two pets I have at home. (German Shepard & English Bulldog) I also often care for my sister’s pets when she is away. (Basset Hound, Chihuahua & Dachshund) I am familiar with many different dog breeds & their needs! I have my own small business & I make my own schedule therefore I have plenty of time to watch your pup! Always free Mon-Fri! I have a fenced yard and I have dog gates throughout my house and backyard where my dogs have their own designated spaces. I am able to adjust as needed.

About: I current have a dachshund mix puppy, Milky Way. I previously had a terrier mix rescue named, Rolo. I have also owned bunnies, birds, and turtles. I have walked husky’s, german sherphards, yorkie, pitt bulls, Rottweilers, terriers, and retrievers. I love dogs I wish I could be surrounded by dogs all the time. I am also a nanny and have been working with kids since I was in school. I’m originally from Virginia, but grew up in Los Angeles. I love being outdoors; hiking, cycling, or hanging out at the beach. As of right now, I am really open because I just moved to Bakersfield. I’ve given my own dog and the family I nanny for baths. I look forward to hearing from you!! I am currently working full time as a nanny on the west side of town; Monday though Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30pm. I am mainly available on weekends and weeknights. If dropping in near where I work I can come during the day. I find the dogs interest; ball, kong, squeaky toys, walks and use their interest to help them get their energy out and to help stimulate their personal needs

About: I grew up living with different types of pets and have a degree in animal science. I have also fostered and volunteered at animal shelters I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have plenty of time to play and care for your pups. I'm available any time on weekdays and some weekends I have a fenced yard, space and friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. If needed I have crates for your pups to use

About: I have a love for pets. With 48 years experience training pets and caring for pets of all ages, breeds and tempoerments. I have worked with many veterinarians around Kern Country and have extensive background in animal health and care. From the age of 9 to 18 I was involved in 4-H where I won achievement awards and acknowledgement for my handling and caring for pets. I worked in a dog and cat boarding facility for 15 years feeding, cleaning and caring for pets while their owners were away. I have also assisted in pet grooming.
