I have a pretty decent sized apartment, that's CLEANED & SANITIZED DAILY, has AC/HEAT, non-smoking, and always has some toys, blankets, and sanitized food/water bowls ready, just in case the owner doesn't bring them. I also take the pets outside quite frequently, as much as possible honeslty! Also, not just to potty, but to explore the neighborhood, RUN for extended periods of time, and to constantly practice/improve use of commands, and healthy interactions with other people/pets/stimulation we may encounter along the way!

About: I’ve volunteered at the shelters for several years. I participated in their cruising canines program that had me take a shelter pup out weekly for a few hours to burn energy. This includes going for walks, swimming, going to get a puppacino or just cruising in the car and wind surfing! I’ve taken all dog sizes and am physically fit enough to take on larger dogs. I’ve had animals of my own since I was 7 years old. This included ducks, pigs, dogs, cats and geese! I currently have 3 dogs of my own. I love any chance to meet new animals! I live a very active lifestyle and fitness is a huge part of my daily routine. I have 4 dogs of my own and understand how a pet is more than just a pet, they are a family member! I work from home as a seamstress, which allows for my schedule to be very flexible. Last minute bookings to planned bookings work for me! All of my dogs are inside dogs. They are treated with the same care as humans, if not more. Comfort is top priority for my animals and I understand every pet will require something different. No 2 animals are the same and volunteering at the shelter has helped me learn that quickly! I feel I am very good at a reading the situation and would never do anything to make an animal feel uncomfortable.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I Love dogs and will give them their best care and treat them well while having fun with them I am currently not working so I would have the time and need to spend time with puppies or any type of dog. Pets deserve a good friend. I currently don’t have a job. But I do study for three days a week. I’d be best for part time. Four out of seven days a week. About: I’ve been the family baby/dog sitter since I was 13! My whole family have always had pets and relied on me to take care of them! Following his morning meal is a long walk. We make sure he’s well groomed with daily brushing and a wash once a week. About: I've worked with special needs animals all my life from tri-pawds, deaf, and blind animals to those with dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, anxiety, and sensitivity to stimuli. Currently I am also employed by a farm that has working breads for dogs and barn cats. I work with a changing and flexible schedule and three days off per week, leaving me plenty of time for checking in on your furry friend. My animals have special dietary needs along with special care for allergies and sensitive skin. They receive joint supplements, specially vetted foods, special bathing requirements, and seasonal medications. I'm well versed at the care special needs animals require because of this.
