About: I’ve taken care of dogs and owned my own for over 30 years. I’ve house trained my own dogs from puppy stage to senior age. I currently own a Siberian Husky and care for two additional huskies. I enjoy brushing, playing and bathing them. I’m retired and pretty much available all week, unless I leave to visit family. My schedule is very flexible although I do have a feeding routine for my own dog (am and pm). I have a decent size yard that is fenced. I have a 4 year old Siberian Husky who is very friendly and loves to play. I do crate dogs if they get out of hand and need timeouts. I allow dogs inside and outside. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and treat them like part of the family.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I am a stay at home mom and I also work from home. Working from home gives me flexibility to be able to be there for your pets. In my home or your home your pets safety and well being is my top priority. I will treat your pets with the same love l treat mine with. I believe pictures and videos are important to provide to show you how your pet is doing. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. “Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. About: I current have a dachshund mix puppy, Milky Way. I previously had a terrier mix rescue named, Rolo. I have also owned bunnies, birds, and turtles. I have walked husky’s, german sherphards, yorkie, pitt bulls, Rottweilers, terriers, and retrievers. I love dogs I wish I could be surrounded by dogs all the time. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I am a stay at home mom and I also work from home. Working from home gives me flexibility to be able to be there for your pets. In my home or your home your pets safety and well being is my top priority. I will treat your pets with the same love l treat mine with. I believe pictures and videos are important to provide to show you how your pet is doing. I also send updates about your pets like what they’ve been up to and if I have concerns I definitely would let you know. I do live in a one bedroom apartment but I have a front yard I can take your dogs out for fresh air and to use the bathroom.
About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. About: I’ve had animals my entire life. At age 11 I took over the majority of the care of my cats, dogs, chickens, llama, and guinea pig. I have cared for many special needs and senior cats and dogs. I have fostered several litters of kittens as well and all the special needs kittens have been foster fails. I follow the instructions exactly as provided feeding schedule, portion sizes, walk times, medication (if any), and any specific behavior or care notes about the pet. For daily care, I make sure the pet gets attention, exercise, and interaction, not just basic needs. That can include walks, playtime, accidents if needed, refreshing water, and making sure the home is kept tidy and secure while I’m there. I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I pay attention to how the pet is acting so I can notice any changes in mood, appetite, or behavior and communicate that right away if something seems off.
