About: I, like everyone else on here, have been a pet owner and lover for years. My pets are my children, because I don’t want or have any human children. Can walk at lightning fast speed or crawl speed—whichever your dog prefers. The heat doesn’t bother me as long as we both have a tall glass of water waiting for us at the end of the journey. Will take to parks if that’s okay and can interact with my loveable Great Pyrenees if that’s cool with you. My special skills include couch cuddles, the ability to fill a water bowl with precision, and never ending attention that every dog desires and deserves. Willing to give endless amounts of belly scratches and ear tickles if need be. I just moved to the Peoria area from about an hour away and decided to re-activate this account because I have time and what better way to spend it than with pets? I will be working a full time job Monday-Friday, but have availability after work (3pm) as well as weekends! My home offers a lot of space inside with the ability to keep pets separate from my own fur babies. Also have a nice big fenced in back yard for room to roam or bask in a sun slice. Another perk: sun porch for endless bird and squirrel watching from the comfort of indoors.
“Chelsey was very attentive to our dogs and kept us posted on how they were doing daily. They had a lot of fun playing with her dog as well. She has a fenced yard they enjoyed. They were very well cared for while we were out of town. I would definitely recommend her for dog care.”

About: I have hands on experience working with small animals, dogs, cats, and a wide variety of farm animals. I have worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. One of my dogs is a working service dog and the other is a retired service dog. I always make sure that your pets will come first. I have completely open availability and am available whenever is needed and I can easily put times into my schedule to create a perfect amount of time to take care of and love on your pet. I have a fenced in yard along with 4 dogs at home. My 4 dogs are also dog friendly and love any other dogs that they meet. I can easily keep dogs separated if need be.
“Jennifer took excellent care of our cockapoo, Toby! She is a great communicator and sent me lots of pictures of their activities:) She has a real love for pets and Toby got lots of attention! 🐕🦺💞”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for 10 plus years. I have lots of personal experience with animals I have had over the years. I also have family and friends who have relied on me to walk, bathe, feed and play with their pets. I am a big animal lover and enjoy spending time with my own pup. I have a German Rottweiler named Atlantis. So I also have experience with dogs over 100lbs. I'm currently in cosmetology school earning my license. I'm in school Tuesday through Friday. I have availability all day Monday, Saturday and Sundays. Tuesday through Friday I would be a available 6pm to 10pm l. I have a nice size yard for your fur baby to play in. A comfy couch for pup snuggles and love. I can crate if that is needed. I will also have a variety of pup toys for inside play, as well as some doggie treats.
“Brittany was amazing! Her and her husband took very good care of our pup! I was impressed with her professionalism and kindness! We received lots of great pictures and videos and updates about our dog, and we really appreciated that! I would highly recommend her for all types of dogs as she has pet sitting in many different breeds!”

“We have used Hailey multiple times to watch our dog and will continue to. Hazel comes home happy and stress free. Hailey communicates with us via pictures and notes which makes us at ease knowing she is well cared for. Thank you, Hailey!”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, I will treat your pet like family. I love dogs and want to help others find reliable care for their dogs. I work full time, however my hours and days are very flexible so I will have plenty of time to spoil your pets during the day, or overnight. I have a fenced in yard, I have one dog of my own who is the sweetest. I have space in my house to separate if needed for nap times, and plenty of toys and treats. They would be allowed on furniture as they would be treated like family.

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
“I cannot begin to describe my appreciation for Lindsy, her son, and her husband, who personally came to pick up my great dane Fang. Lindsy is indescribably kind, as is her family. So reliable, and available at any time needed without question or complaint. I feel lucky to have had Lindsy as my sitter for the trip. Fang came home happier than I’ve ever seen him. They are, the best. 10/10 would force you to take them as your sitter”

“Great Experience, very accommodating and very flexible. i had to drop my dog after the long drive (16 hours) and he was definitely hyper but Tricia took great care of him. with all treats and great walk and some good catch fames.. will defiantly book again”

About: I've had dogs almost my whole life. I've taken care of puppies, seniors, and special needs dogs. I love to go on walks, so if your furry family member needs a long walk I'm your gal. I can help with training, and if your baby doesnt have good leash manners? Don't worry. I work full time on second shift, with a varied schedule. However I'm usually able to pop in somewhere before work and take care of your pets. I wouldn't be ideal as a house sitter, or a boarder, but I'll happily check in on your babies and take then on walks. I like to make sure animals have plenty of time to sniff me out and get used to me. If you're cool with me giving them a treat, I may use one to bribe them. Otherwise I let the animal come to me. I'll feed your dogs exactly the right amount of food, let them out for the right amount of time, and exercise them at however long you want. Dogs and cats deserve respect and understanding. I'm not going to change their routine in addition to being a strange person.

“Hannah has been taking care of Gunnar since Aug 2017. She is great with him! He's always excited to go to her home. He is well cared for and played with. I recommend her greatly if you are looking for someone to genuinely care for your pet while you are away!”

“I would recommend Amanda anytime to take care of anyone’s pet, she will send you messages and photos of how your pet is doing, also picked Trapper up and brought him home all bathed and smelling nice. Thank you Amanda, for taking care of Trapper.”

Peoria Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Diana is a great dog sitter! My dog is still very young with lots of energy & Diana was flexible to Lilly’s needs/stage of life while simultaneously keeping her safe. She has a beautiful fence in yard that Lilly loves. Communication was great! I will absolutely use Diana again in the future.

De’Aysia was fantastic! She sent pictures and/or videos every day and it looked like she was having the time of her life! This was Marigold’s first time with a sitter and it was for a whole week so I was nervous about how she’d do, since she is just 9 months old. Marigold came home so happy and had definitely picked up some manners from the other dogs and with De’Aysia’s help. I don’t know for sure but I think she was even freshly bathed and brushed, what a bonus! I will definitely book again and refer friends to De’Aysia.
