Lola and her family did a great job caring for Josie. She was honest, and so sweet and gentle with my furbaby. I appreciate she was flexible with a meet and greet prior to boarding. I highly recommend Lola. Convenient, reasonable and very honest.

About: I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, and I learned how to attentively take instructions when it came to the care of an animal. I have dealt with dogs and cats that have digestive issues, as well as knowing my way around taking care of (oral) medication. I am also used to dogs or cats that need daily exercise or some that are very energetic and need a lot of attention. Before moving to New Mexico, I had two dogs, and I was always keen on keeping them safe + well taken care of, but most importantly, checking that they were always happy and healthy. And I would be honored to take care of your pet in the same manner. Because I am searching for work, all of my time is dedicated to Rover at the moment. I am available every day of the week. I have a two bedroom apartment and two cats, so I cannot board any fur babies in my home unless you are absolutely sure they are okay around cats. On the other hand, I can guarantee that I will keep an eye on any pets I take care of in a client's home, as well as provide updates based on your preference!

About: Finding the right sitter matters — especially when your dog needs more than just a walk and a bowl refill. That’s where I come in. I have over 15 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From energetic puppies to senior dogs and behaviorally challenging cases, I’ve cared for and handled dogs with a wide range of needs. My background includes extensive volunteer work at animal shelters, where I gained valuable experience reading canine body language, managing stress, and working safely with dogs that require extra patience and structure. In 2021, I earned my Certified Dog Trainer credential through Animal Behavior College, and I continue my education through Leerburg University, focusing on canine behavior, handling, and communication. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — every dog is different, and I tailor my care to what helps your dog feel safe, calm, and confident. If you’ve been told your dog is “too difficult” or “too much” for most sitters, I encourage you to reach out. I have experience with reactive, anxious, high-drive, and medically complex dogs, including administering medications and injections when needed. My goal is not just to watch your dog, but to advocate for them while you’re away. For safety and individualized care, I only accept one family of dogs at a time. This allows me to focus fully on your dog’s routine, comfort, and well-being — no overcrowding, no chaos. I’d love to schedule a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. You’ll leave knowing your dog is in capable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring hands. Thanks for stopping by my profile — I look forward to meeting you and your best friend soon. I'm hoping to make canine boarding/training my new job. I still work full time in a hybrid remote role. I will only accept boarding reservations where I know I will be home. I prefer to exercise dogs by walking them, but will do anything to keep your friends on their own routine. Anything you can share with me about your dogs preferred routine will help me keep their schedule as normal as possible.

Great time for our high energy girl. Our old boy was able to get plenty of rest. Kayla always ensures Ricker gets her medication. Both come home happy, and relaxed!! Thank you again Kayla

It's definitely hard to trust your pet with someone you don't know. I put my trust in Madison to take care of my pup for a week and she was spectacular. I could tell she was a caring person when I dropped him off and that he would be well taken care. I got timely updates about his stay and that helped put my mind at ease. If you are on the fence about leaving your pet with someone else, take my word for it and trust Madison. I will definitely book with her again if the time ever arises.

I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, and administering basic medications when needed. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is the level of care and attention I give to every dog as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies and seniors. With puppies, I focus on consistency, positive reinforcement, and helping maintain any training routines you’ve started. For senior dogs, I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to their comfort, mobility, and any medication or special care needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and always keep owners updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind. My goal is to create a calm, fun, and loving environment where your dog feels right at home. As a teacher off for the summer, I have a very flexible and open schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Pet care naturally fits into my routine because I’m home most of the time, making it easy to provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I enjoy staying active, so daily walks and outdoor time are a priority, and I also make sure to include downtime for rest and cuddles. Because I’m not tied to a strict work schedule right now, I can be very responsive to each pet’s needs, whether that’s sticking to a specific routine, administering medications, or simply giving extra love and attention. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked—they’ll be part of my daily routine and cared for like family. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I provide a clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly space where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I also have a fully fenced-in yard, which allows for safe outdoor play, exercise, and fresh air while always being supervised. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so I can keep their schedule as consistent as possible. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or medication, I follow your instructions closely and treat your pet like part of my family. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and maintain your pet’s normal routine to help reduce stress. I ensure doors and gates are secure, keep a close eye on safety at all times, and provide updates with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where pets feel comfortable and owners have complete peace of mind.

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
