For dogs with limited mobility or who tire easily, I even have a wagon that I use to wheel them around so they can still enjoy the outdoors safely and comfortably, something I do often for my senior, three-legged dog. Inside my home, I provide a calm, structured environment. I have two crates available and can accommodate both crate trained dogs and those who prefer to free roam. I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality so I can tailor their care, whether that’s sticking to a medication schedule, providing quiet time, or making sure they have plenty of play and affection. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12 and worked as a zookeeper for the past 4 years! I have extensive experience caring for a large range of animals, including those with special health and age related needs. I'm home for the summer before I start my veterinary technician program in October. I will be traveling for periods of it but have an otherwise very open schedule. I own two cats, both of which are calmer in temperament, and have available separate space to care for smaller animals in my home. About: Hello! I am very passionate about dogs and will provide loving, patient care while you are away from home. I have fostered many puppies and adult dogs in my home through a dog rescue in California for 5 years, and continue to do the online work for that rescue from my home in Illinois. I have two fur babies of my own Espresso and Lucy, and our two cats mostly hang out in whatever room the dogs are not in :) We have a secure, fenced backyard with room to run. Dog cuddling and treats are a staple here, as well as walks, frequent potty breaks and playing with toys! I walk my 90 lb chocolate lab (quite energetic and happy) miles everyday around the neighborhood and hiking trails. He is a pretty reactive dog (all love) so I am skilled in knowing what a dog needs and how they are reacting to the external variables on a walk, and how to react to that.
