My home has a fenced-in backyard and a doggie door, so pups can go in and out as they please — always with safety in mind. During Florida’s hot summers, I make sure they don’t spend too much time outside, offering plenty of water, indoor cooling, and of course, treats to keep them happy and comfortable! My pets are a 4.5 year old Coonhound mix, who still has lots of puppy energy and an 8 year old Black Lab mix, who is more calm, but loves to be cuddled and petted.
