“This was our 1st time using Rover, or getting a pet sitter like this for our Havanese dog, and we were nervous. Thankfully Farai was wonderful! He came in and fed and walked our boy mid-day, as agreed, and did a great job. Farai stayed in regular contact and his pictures of Samson were so great to get. He did everything exactly as we had asked and he was wonderful with Samson. I will definitely have Farai help us out with our pet sitting needs in the future.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter to watch my boy while I was away! Zarah was prompt and attentive for our meet & greet before my trip. For every visit she made while I was gone, she was detailed with her check ins. Truly grateful my dog was in such caring hands!”

“Caleigh was absolutely wonderful. She took great care of our two cats, checking on them every day, feeding them, refreshing their water, playing with them, and making sure everything was perfect before she left. She was incredibly communicative, sent the sweetest photos and updates, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We would happily book her again and highly recommend her.”

“We are really afraid to leave our menagerie with people and let people in our home. Kimberly was fantastic! All the “kids” instantly liked her. She was on time, completed two separate walks and cleaned the kitchen after feeding. Will refusal her again!”

I’m currently home full-time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for daycare, boarding, and drop-in visits, and I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s usual routine whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. “We had an excellent experience with kateryna! From the start, she was professional, kind, and truly attentive to every detail. She carefully followed all the instructions we left and made sure our cats were well cared for. She kept everything clean and organized, and it was clear from the updates and videos that she genuinely cared about our pets. One of our cats is usually very shy, but he warmed up to her a true sign of her patience and gentle nature. We came home to calm, happy cats. We’re very grateful for her care and will definitely book with her again in the future! Thank you so much!”

“Went away for 11 days and needed someone to stop in every few days to care for my 2 cats. Carolina was super sweet and efficient. I appreciate your services and will be sure to use her again in the future !”

About: I have two wonderful dogs of my own that I’ve lovingly cared over 5+ years and I’ve also enjoyed helping care for my sister’s dog. These experiences have taught me just how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I treat every pet like a cherished member of my own family. I’m patient, attentive, and passionate about making sure each pet receives plenty of love, playtime, exercise, and personalized care. I understand that every animal has its own unique personality and routine, and I always strive to keep them happy, relaxed, and tail wagging with joy!! My goal is to give pet parents complete peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in caring, trustworthy, and loving hands! 🐶✨ Pet care already fits into my daily schedule since I have two dogs of my own. I make time every day for walks, feeding, playtime, and giving them lots of love. I also have a lot of free time on the weekends which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. I make sure pets have a safe and comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at home. I stick to their usual routines, provide fresh food and water, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I also take them on regular walks and make sure they get enough exercise and playtime to keep them happy and healthy.

About: I’ve been pet sitting around my community for over 5 years. I’ve taken care of an array of pets- from small and calm to big and upbeat- I am able to adapt to all needs. I also dog sat several times for a poor pup that was paralyzed from the waist down, so I have strong experience in changing diapers, bathing, and attending to the needs of disabled pets. I am currently enrolled in classes at Florida State University but am back in my hometown of Parkland, Florida for the summer! My availability is almost entirely free as I unfortunately haven’t secured a part time summer job but my calendar will be updated regularly if anything comes up. I am very attentive when taking care of others pets. I am very punctual when it comes to feeding and walking times. I also really enjoy the company of animals so I will not only care for the basic needs of the pets but also will spend my time playing with them and providing them with entertainment.

Hellen was absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of my two dogs in my home while we were away. She was incredibly responsive, kept me updated, and sent me pictures regularly, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my dogs and treated them with love and attention. She is trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of our home. I highly recommend Hellen to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter. Thank you so much, Hellen!

We used Roxane a second time for our cat Toto - she took great care of him again, we could tell Toto was now well familiar with her and also was quite happy when we got home (vs grumpy like he has been before). We will def ask Roxane again for future trips!

This was our 1st time using Rover, or getting a pet sitter like this for our Havanese dog, and we were nervous. Thankfully Farai was wonderful! He came in and fed and walked our boy mid-day, as agreed, and did a great job. Farai stayed in regular contact and his pictures of Samson were so great to get. He did everything exactly as we had asked and he was wonderful with Samson. I will definitely have Farai help us out with our pet sitting needs in the future.

David was an awesome sitter. He really took the time in every visit to make sure my dog was ok. He was punctual, reliable and very kind. He also communicated every day and let me know how everything was going. I will 10/10 recommend him and will be booking him next time.

Neusa did a wonderful job taking care of my two kitties for 3 days while I was out of town. She genuinely loves and understands cats and is a cat mom herself, and she cared for my beloved kitties as if they were her own. She followed all instructions to a tee and was very respectful of the house, leaving the space better than she found it. She was highly responsive, communicative, and professional. I highly recommend Neusa and hope to work with her again in the future. Thank you!

Leslie has been wonderful- she's been friendly, responsive, and caring with my puppy. I'm thankful I can depend on her to show up each day to give my pup some much-needed outside time and food. Her daily updates are also appreciated. My Emmie girl has been much more relaxed when I get home since meeting Leslie. I highly recommend her :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
