“Zarah is an excellent sitter. She is all star sitter. She’s excellent with communication and updates. During her drop ins with my cat, she was very warm and gentle. My cat is shy and he opened up pretty quickly with Zarah and got some good playtime in. I highly recommend Zarah for any of pet sitting needs”

“Went away for 11 days and needed someone to stop in every few days to care for my 2 cats. Carolina was super sweet and efficient. I needed her to go in a day early just to check they were ok and she went almost immediately! Thankyou Carolina for making sure my cats were ok! I appreciate your services and will be sure to use her again in the future !”

“Sian took amazing care of Tetra and Yuji when I was at the office. The dogs LOVE her and look forward to her visits. She was also flexible in adding visits when I had to go in on an additional day. We’re definitely asking her back when the school year starts again.”

“This was our 1st time using Rover, or getting a pet sitter like this for our Havanese dog, and we were nervous. Thankfully Farai was wonderful! He came in and fed and walked our boy mid-day, as agreed, and did a great job. Farai stayed in regular contact and his pictures of Samson were so great to get. He did everything exactly as we had asked and he was wonderful with Samson. I will definitely have Farai help us out with our pet sitting needs in the future.”

“All of the positive reviews for Sandi are right, she's great! She took care of our very shy cat for two weeks. Sandi was patient and by the end of the booking, Tabby was flopping on the floor for belly rubs. We loved getting all of the photos and videos each morning. Will definitely rebook with Sandi again.”

“We had an excellent experience with kateryna! From the start, she was professional, kind, and truly attentive to every detail. She carefully followed all the instructions we left and made sure our cats were well cared for. She kept everything clean and organized, and it was clear from the updates and videos that she genuinely cared about our pets. One of our cats is usually very shy, but he warmed up to her a true sign of her patience and gentle nature. We came home to calm, happy cats. We’re very grateful for her care and will definitely book with her again in the future! Thank you so much!”

“Brenna was absolutely amazing! She was attentive, communicative, and trustworthy! She was always on time, sent such sweet pictures, and played with our cat during the drop in visits. Even brushed her every visit. We would highly recommend Brenna to anyone and plan to use her again in the future!”

“Kim is amazing. She is super sweet and gentle. My cat is naturally shy but curious however my cat was comfortable with her right out of the gate! She made Scooby feel loved and kept him company while I was away. She followed instructions and was very communicative. I’m going on another trip in three weeks and it’s safe to say Kim will be getting rebooked.”

About: I provide loving, reliable care and treat every dog like family. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to care for puppies, seniors, and dogs with different needs. I work part-time as an barista at starbucks and attend school, but I make time in my routine to stay active and spend time with dogs. I love being around them and would enjoy making pet care part of my week! I’ll care for pets in their home by following their normal routine, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
“Caleigh was absolutely wonderful. She took great care of our two cats, checking on them every day, feeding them, refreshing their water, playing with them, and making sure everything was perfect before she left. She was incredibly communicative, sent the sweetest photos and updates, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We would happily book her again and highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was lucky enough to have a Doberman Pinscher, a Chihuahua Shih Tzu mix, and a cat, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. As an adult, I got a dog of my own, a Pitbull Lab mix, and she’s been my best companion ever since. I’m naturally very comfortable around animals and have a calm, confident approach to handling dogs. I believe in being firm but gentle, creating structure and boundaries while making sure a dog always feels safe, loved, and understood. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and needs rather than taking a one size fits all approach. I especially love going on long walks and letting dogs experience the world around them. I’m a big believer in allowing dogs plenty of time to stop, sniff, explore, and take in their surroundings. Walks aren’t just physical exercise, they’re important mental stimulation too! Whether your dog needs an energetic walking buddy, some extra love and attention, or simply a calm and dependable person to keep them company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. 🐾 Pet care is my primary focus, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and extended stays. I’m able to accommodate different schedules and routines and can often be flexible with timing. I’m happy to work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works best for them and their pets. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and make sure to maintain their pet’s normal routine as much as possible. I’m happy to provide whatever care they need, whether that means long walks, playtime, feeding, letting them outside, or simply giving them lots of love and affection. I understand that every pet is different, so I’m always happy to follow the owner’s preferences and instructions to make sure their pet receives the kind of care they’re used to.
About: I have had dogs as pets my entire life. In high school, I began pet sitting for my neighbors and friends. After an accident, one of my dogs became paralyzed; I learned how to care for dogs with all types of needs. I am currently a college student at the University of Florida who is back home for summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule. I will be able to care for your pet however you desire. Whether this be playing with a dog outside or ensuring they are in their crate, your need will be met.
About: Your fur baby deserves to be treated with love and like family ¡También hablo español! I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats before. I as well have dogs myself that I've cared for ever since I was 12. I done overnight stays and have helped family and friends as well when needed to play, feed, or let their dog out as well as take them on walks. As a devoted animal lover, I completely understand the importance of compassionate pet care. I am a Law student at NSU so I have more than enough time to give your pets the fun and enriching days they deserve before and after my classes. I am normally free all days of the week and weekends. I live with my family and 3 dogs of my own so I would not be able to board dogs at my own home but can definitely accommodate in your home. If you choose me for house sitting accommodations, please know that your pets and home will be happier and just as clean as when you left them
About: At 19, I adopted my first puppy, Sophie. She was a Shepherd Mix with deceptively small paws and a calm demeanor. Time would later reveal her to be very hyperactive, loud and 100+ lbs of pure loyalty and love. Unfortunately, she also suffered from seizures at an early age and the medication was not easy on her body. Suffice to say that I adopted a lot more that day, and I would never change a thing. We learned and grew so much with each other in her short 12 years. I believe my experience owning, loving, and caring for Sophie translates seamlessly into my ability to take care of your furry family members. My current schedule is relatively open and allows for availability when I (or your pet) needs it. My weekday schedule is very flexible and allows for change accordingly. I’m also available weekends and holidays. I live on the first floor of my very dog friendly apartment building. The unit is about 1000 sq. ft. and sits above a utility room - so it can definitely accommodate your pet’s post-dinner zoomies. I don’t have a closed in yard but I live near a park that has a path so most dogs enjoy walks there. Additionally, I have a large, metal crate available if needed.
“Adrienne really helped us out with doing drop ins to check in on our two dogs. I reached out to her last minute, and also made a same day adjustment that she was able to accommodate and really appreciate it!”

This was my first time using Rover for both my dogs and I'm so glad I tried Roxane! Her communication was perfect and she showed up right when she said she would. I will use her again!! It is such a relief knowing I found someone I can trust with my babies. Thank you Roxane!!!!!

Carolina exceeded our expectations with Billy and we could not be happier! She stayed with him for at least an hour everyday, which was more than I asked for. Our Billy seemed so happy and relaxed when we got home from vacation (which is usually not the case). We highly recommend Carolina and will be using her again!

We had such a wonderful experience with our dog sitter! She was on time, friendly, reliable, and clearly very caring with our dog. She followed all of our instructions, kept us updated, and made us feel completely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. We would definitely recommend her and will absolutely use her again! 🐾❤️

I came across Ciana's profile and decided to set up a meet and greet for my 4 furbabies. She was punctual soft spoken, and took notes of their individual needs. My furbabies warmed up to her and I felt comfortable leaving them in her care. I decided to book the drop by services with her. She was communicative, provided details and pictures of my furbabies, and gave them all the attention, love, and care. She is a caring, professional pet sitter and I will definitely request her services again. My furbabies and I are happy to have found her.

Kimberly and Carter loved each other they got along right away. She is so warm and friendly. She also has great availability. I love seeing the pictures of them on walks together. Carter has anxiety so she hangs with him while mom and dad are at work! She is accommodating and asks all the right questions 😊

Sydney did an amazing job taking care of our little ones, Charm and Lucky! She was reliable, caring, on time and kept me updated every single day, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Sydney to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets. Thank you so much, Sydney!

Our two huskies loved Branden and Gabi! They were great with our high energy puppy. You can tell they have lots of experience with big dogs. They asked all the right questions. I was especially happy when they asked what kind of water our pups drink. Branden was very thorough with logistics and loving towards the pups. Gabi was warm and playful. We highly recommend them and will be reaching out to them for future stays.

Hellen was absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of my two dogs in my home while we were away. She was incredibly responsive, kept me updated, and sent me pictures regularly, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my dogs and treated them with love and attention. She is trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of our home. I highly recommend Hellen to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter. Thank you so much, Hellen!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
