I work part-time as an barista at starbucks and attend school, but I make time in my routine to stay active and spend time with dogs. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was lucky enough to have a Doberman Pinscher, a Chihuahua Shih Tzu mix, and a cat, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. As an adult, I got a dog of my own, a Pitbull Lab mix, and she’s been my best companion ever since. I’m naturally very comfortable around animals and have a calm, confident approach to handling dogs. I believe in being firm but gentle, creating structure and boundaries while making sure a dog always feels safe, loved, and understood. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and needs rather than taking a one size fits all approach. I especially love going on long walks and letting dogs experience the world around them. About: I have had dogs as pets my entire life. In high school, I began pet sitting for my neighbors and friends. After an accident, one of my dogs became paralyzed; I learned how to care for dogs with all types of needs. About: At 19, I adopted my first puppy, Sophie. She was a Shepherd Mix with deceptively small paws and a calm demeanor. Time would later reveal her to be very hyperactive, loud and 100+ lbs of pure loyalty and love. Unfortunately, she also suffered from seizures at an early age and the medication was not easy on her body. Suffice to say that I adopted a lot more that day, and I would never change a thing. We learned and grew so much with each other in her short 12 years. I believe my experience owning, loving, and caring for Sophie translates seamlessly into my ability to take care of your furry family members. My current schedule is relatively open and allows for availability when I (or your pet) needs it. My weekday schedule is very flexible and allows for change accordingly. I’m also available weekends and holidays. I live on the first floor of my very dog friendly apartment building. The unit is about 1000 sq. ft. and sits above a utility room - so it can definitely accommodate your pet’s post-dinner zoomies. I don’t have a closed in yard but I live near a park that has a path so most dogs enjoy walks there. Additionally, I have a large, metal crate available if needed.

Our two huskies loved Branden and Gabi! They were great with our high energy puppy. You can tell they have lots of experience with big dogs. They asked all the right questions. I was especially happy when they asked what kind of water our pups drink. Branden was very thorough with logistics and loving towards the pups. Gabi was warm and playful. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
