About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and empathy I bring to every walk. I had my own dog for five years, and losing him early due to complications deeply shaped how I care for dogs. Walking dogs now is my way of honoring him—by giving each dog patience, joy, and the attention they deserve, ensuring they feel happy, safe, and truly loved. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m currently a UF student taking online classes, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. While I occasionally have meetings or dance practices in the evenings, I plan ahead and communicate clearly, making sure every pet still gets consistent, reliable care and attention. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I bring the love and experience I gained from having my own dog for five years. Our two huskies loved Branden and Gabi! They were great with our high energy puppy. You can tell they have lots of experience with big dogs. They asked all the right questions. I was especially happy when they asked what kind of water our pups drink. Branden was very thorough with logistics and loving towards the pups. Gabi was warm and playful. We used Roxane a second time for our cat Toto - she took great care of him again, we could tell Toto was now well familiar with her and also was quite happy when we got home (vs grumpy like he has been before). We will def ask Roxane again for future trips!
This was our 1st time using Rover, or getting a pet sitter like this for our Havanese dog, and we were nervous. Thankfully Farai was wonderful! He came in and fed and walked our boy mid-day, as agreed, and did a great job. Farai stayed in regular contact and his pictures of Samson were so great to get. He did everything exactly as we had asked and he was wonderful with Samson. I will definitely have Farai help us out with our pet sitting needs in the future.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
