I recently moved back home after graduating from college and have the entire summer available before starting graduate school. Caring for animals fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine, and I’m excited about the opportunity to spend my time providing attentive and reliable pet care. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to be available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my routine. Since I was young, I’ve helped walk, feed, play with, and care for our family dogs, which taught me how important patience, attention, and consistency are when caring for pets. Since moving back home from college, we currently have one dog, and I love spending time with her. She’s very affectionate and loves keeping me company, whether we’re playing at home, snuggling, or going on walks together — honestly, I may enjoy the walks even more than she does. While I was away at college, I really missed being around animals, so I would often visit local shelters just to spend time playing with and walking the dogs there. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and naturally make time for whenever I can.

I’ve been around dogs my entire life and started caring for them at a young age. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and check in on their pets over the years. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I always make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. I currently live with a dog, so I understand the importance of routine, exercise, attention, and patience. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just keeping a pet company, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treating them like family.

Having Sydney step in to care for Tucker has been a huge relief for us. Tucker is a dog with a fair amount of anxiety and ongoing ear issues, which makes his care a bit more specific and delicate than most. He isn’t always immediately comfortable with new people or changes in routine, so consistency and patience are really important. Sydney handled him with a calm, steady approach from the start. She took the time to understand his needs and never rushed him, which made a noticeable difference in how comfortable he felt. One of the more important parts of his care involved administering ear drops, and she was always careful, gentle, and attentive while doing it correctly. What stood out most was her ability to stay composed and reassuring, even when Tucker was anxious or resistant. She didn’t treat it as a challenge, just as part of making sure he was taken care of properly. Over time, Tucker became much more relaxed with her, which says a lot about her approach and energy. We always felt confident knowing Sydney was the one looking after him. She is responsible, observant, and genuinely patient, and Tucker was clearly in good hands every time.
