About: I have hands-on experience, caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments and I’m comfortable adapting my approach to me each dogs unique needs. Whether it’s high energy large breeds that need structured activity or smaller dogs that prefer a calm routine. I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment. I enjoy keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated through interactive play, puzzles, and games that match their energy and personality. I also love making homemade dog treats upon request ensuring they’re both safe and enjoyable for your pet. My goal is to provide attentive personalized care so every dog feels happy, enriched, and well careful while you’re awake. I’m a school employee, so I am available any day in the summer, during any holidays, or weekends. I am an early bird and can do early morning visits or care as well as throughout the day. I would prefer to do visits in the client’s home, but. I am open to overnight boarding at my own home after knowing the dog’s temperament and demands. I live in an apartment with a fenced dog park.
“Ryan and Debbie were absolutely fantastic from the very first moment I contacted them. I contacted them with a last moment request when my son’s friend backed out at the last moment. My son was leaving on a business trip and I am recuperating from a leg injury that prevents me from walking my son’s 4 1/2 year old Gerberian Shepsky (GS Dog and Siberian Husky mix). He is a great dog but does not realize his own substantial strength. Ryan responded to my request within minutes and was available that morning. From the moment I met Ryan and his Fiance Debbie, it was evident that they love dogs and love taking care of them. They immediately became close with the dog and he would become very excited when they came to walk him. They would show up and he would run and say hello and then sit at the door for them to put his leash on Walks were long, especially in this heat, annd they would even run with him. Numerous photo updates would arrive by text while he was out on the walk and they would provide detailed reports of the walk. They will be by first choice when future needs present themselves and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone. They are true dog lovers who liove what they do and it shows.”
“Carolina is the best dog care taker I have ever used. She sends me photos and videos of her on the walks with my Sammy and plays with him and give him water and food if needed. Sammy loves her and loves to see her when she comes to my apartment. She has even taken him to the dog park to play with other dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing animal lover and care taker.”

“Mike took wonderful care of our dog, Tyson, while we were on a family vacation over the holidays. He was kind, reliable, and very communicative, sending daily pictures and always being on time. Tyson was comfortable with him right away. We’ll definitely use Mike again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a genuine animal lover.”

“Olga is amazing! She was on time and sent us lots of photos and videos of our babies. We felt so comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Will definitely be using Olga again!”

“Carolina was so great! She was super communicative and reassured us during our trip that our dog was in good hands. She followed all of our directions perfectly and we felt comfortable that our dog was safe and loved while we were gone. She was even flexible enough to accommodate some of our changes and when there were things she wasn’t sure about she asked us.”

I am very attentive when taking care of others pets. I am very punctual when it comes to feeding and walking times. I also really enjoy the company of animals so I will not only care for the basic needs of the pets but also will spend my time playing with them and providing them with entertainment.

About: I have always loved animals and I treat every pet like they are my own. I pay close attention to what each pet needs, whether that is playtime, cuddles, or keeping their routine the same so they feel comfortable. This is not just a side job for me. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust looking after your family member. I had my cat from the time I was 8 years old until she recently passed at 17. Caring for her through every stage of her life taught me a lot about senior pets and the extra attention they need. I also have a senior dog back in Minnesota, so I know what to watch for as pets age and how to keep them comfortable. I have two big dogs and a kitten, and I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was a teenager. I’ve also looked after a few exotic animals. I love spending time with animals, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible so just reach out with any questions and we’ll be able to make it work, as long as I have a few days to plan. ☺️ I always try to create a calm, safe environment by following the pet’s routine and giving them space to feel comfortable. I never force interaction and let them come to me on their own terms. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Parkland
Just completed our first week with Kimberly, and we have had nothing short of a great experience. She is very sweet, reliable, a great listener, and is great with our baby. We also enjoy seeing the pictures and data collected for his walk. We have never hired a walker before, so we were not totally sure what to expect. That said, she has been absolutely wonderful, and we feel lucky that we got it right the first time with Kimberly :) Thank you so much!

Madalynn truly saved the day! I had such a long day at work and she went above and beyond by stopping by twice to take my pup out for walks. I came home to a clean home and a happy, sleepy fur baby 🐾 Her kindness, reliability and care gave me such peace of mind throughout the day. I’m so grateful for her help and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring with their pets. Thank you again, Madalynn!

I can’t say enough good things about Toni! She has been amazing with my two dogs, Moshi and Louie. Both can be a handful in their own ways, but our walker is always patient, dependable, and genuinely caring. I love getting the little photo updates and notes after each walk—it’s clear they take the time to make sure both dogs are happy and well cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
