“Monica is fantastic! She took excellent care of our anxious, senior dog who does not adjust well to change. This was the first time in about a year that we had left Theo for a week, and we were worried about how he would do. But Monica worked her magic with Theo, and we were able to enjoy our vacation. She reached out to ask questions about his behavior/preferences to better understand him. As a result, Monica quickly earned his trust. Every day she sent us pictures and funny updates on what he was doing. Additionally, Monica took excellent care of our house and even washed our sheets and remade the bed, which was greatly appreciated! We highly recommend Monica and have already booked her for our next trip.”

“They provided great care for our dogs! Super communicative and sent a ton of pictures every day. The dogs were happy and well cared for - would definitely have Bobby and Ashley watch them again!”

“Kristin did a great job sitting for our dogs. She spent several days with them and they had a great time. The dogs seemed very comfortable with her and we were happy she was able to spend lots of time with them. She provided updates multiple times per day including pictures of them around the house and around the pool. We came home to happy and stress free dogs. We would definitely book her again!”

“Great job communicating and caring for my team of pets. Photos daily we're a plus. She truly cares for the pets and is responsible. Could not have asked to feel more at ease with a pet caregiver. I have already booked her again for more pet care.”

“Nikki did such an amazing job caring for our two pups during a 4 day house sitting. As littermates, they needed someone with extra patience and experience handling their occasional reactivity. She really took the time to get to know them and understand their individual behaviors. Nikki made us feel so comfortable with regular updates, and adorable pictures. She even managed to leave the house cleaner than when she arrived! Next booking is just weeks away, twice as long, and we have no doubts that she'll be fantastic with them again!”

“Andrea was great with our 13 year old girl Roxie. This was their first time together and when we got home we could tell Roxie was well taken care of. Our place was the same as we left it. We will definitely use Andrea again for our baby!”

From German Shepherds in San Francisco to a high-maintenance English Bulldog I’ve cared for since puppy training here in Charlotte, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all personalities, energy levels, and medical needs. Over the years, I’ve looked after puppies, senior dogs with joint issues, pets with cancer, and animals on special diets or complex medication routines. I bring a warm, gentle presence to every home I enter, maintaining routines, offering companionship, and providing detailed daily updates so you can travel with peace of mind. With a background in both hospitality and theatre, I know the importance of showing up with professionalism, attentiveness, and clear communication. I pride myself on leaving homes in excellent condition and pets feeling loved and well cared for. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets the emotional trust involved in letting someone care for your home and beloved animals, I’d love to chat further. Most importantly, I want to be present for your dog. When it's time to potty or eat or play time, I'm available. It is crucial they get that company and I love just kicking it with animals (as most of us, yes, I have full on conversations with them). I'm a laid back, goofy guy who is just looking to make dogs and their owners comfortable and happy! As a freelance writer, I’m currently looking to fill my schedule with pet sitting and house care jobs. Currently I care for a calico cat and English bull dog 3-4 times a week in Charlotte. While my apartment does allow pets, my experience is fully in sitting for the animal at the respective owners homes. I find this is most comfortable for the animal and helps them stick to their routine.

About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have be pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I tool care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and stay temporarily in my parents house in Charlotte. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.

“Reagan did a wonderful job watching our 2 dogs and house sitting while we were on vacation for thanksgiving. Normally our one dog does not like strangers and has some anxiety issues but she was comfortable enough to sleep on the bed with Reagan at night which says a lot. We will definitely plan to use her again!”

I would recommend her with flying colors to take care of pets and houses.”

Park Crossing pet parents share their Rover experiences
Chris took excellent care of our 2 large dogs while we were out of town. He went above and beyond when they unfortunately got a little sick while we were gone. He was extremely dependable and very professional. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for help with their animals.

If you’re looking for a kind and trustworthy pet sitter, look no further! This was our second time having Emily watch our fur babies. She is super accommodating as we asked her last minute to help out with our newest rescue who suffers from separation anxiety and has to be kept separate from our other dogs. She happily agreed to help and it’s clear she’s an animal lover and an experienced caretaker. We received regular updates with pictures, so we never had to worry or wonder. Emily stayed at our house for a few days and was very respectful, even vacuuming and running the dishwasher before she left. She is our go to dog sitter for sure! Thank you so much Emily!!

Yazmine took wonderful care of our dog, Riley when we were away. She is a wonderful, nurturing, responsible person, and we felt very comfortable with her from the time we met. She was in constant contact with us, sent a lot of pictures and reassured us daily that Riley was doing well. Yazmine is very sweet and kind, and we knew Riley would be in great hands. When we returned home, Riley and the house were in great shape. If you are looking for a reliable, responsible and caring person to take care of your pet, look no further than Yazmine. She's simply the best.

Leila and Sam were amazing with our dogs! During the meet and greet, and upon first arrival for the sitting Sirius can be skiddish, but this couple knew what to do to get him to warm up and be comfortable! Molly loves making new friends so she immediately liked Leila and Sam. They were great at communicating with us everyday and sending the cutest pictures! We really enjoyed having them care for our pups and will definitely be rebooking with them in the future 🤗
