âI cannot recommend Dominique highly enough! She went above and beyond in every way while caring for my cat, Sebastian. Dominique's attention to detail was outstanding - she took the extra time to wash Sebastian's ceramic food bowls and cleaned his litter box daily without me even having to ask. She sent frequent updates and pictures throughout my trip, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing Sebastian was happy and well-cared for. What truly sets Dominique apart is how she treats each pet as an individual. She made sure Sebastian got plenty of playtime and affection every day. Her patience, thoughtfulness, and joyful energy created exactly the kind of comfortable environment my cat needs. When Dominique is caring for Sebastian, I never worry for a second. She takes the time to listen to your pet's specific needs and is incredibly accommodating in creating a unique, personalized experience. If you're looking for a cat sitter who genuinely cares and treats your pet like family, Dominique is the one!â

âHannah was a fabulous sitter. She stayed overnight with our girl. Hannah was very communicative and let us know what was going on with our girl. She left us a sweet card and a toy for Kat. We will definitely be using her againâ

âJeffrey was so great taking care of our dog, we got morning pictures and I felt so relieved we had him to watch Pete! He was also a super respectful house guest and helped us with some packages that came through. Canât recommend Jeffrey enough!â

âI cannot say enough good things about Victory! She took amazing care of our mini Schnauzer, Ollie, last weekend, and Iâm so grateful for her help. From the moment Victory arrived she made sure to follow Ollie's normal routine, which allowed him to get acclimated to her quickly. Victory's time with Ollie was seamless and non-disruptive for him, which I really appreciated. Not only did she give Ollie the best care, but she also took fantastic care of our house. When she left, everything was tidy and spotless. Victory went above and beyond by sending me daily updates and pictures, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. I could tell she genuinely cares about animals and goes the extra mile to ensure theyâre happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend Victory to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She is thoughtful, responsible, and incredibly reliable! Thank you, Victory, for taking such wonderful care of Ollie and our home! Will definitely have Victory watch Ollie and our home again!â

About: Hi! Iâm Ashly, your pets new favorite human (besides you, of course). Whether your kitty/puppy is a social butterfly, a shy hider, or a professional napper, Iâm here to keep them happy, fed, and purring/tail wagging while youâre away. I speak fluent âmeow,â understand the importance of chin scritches vs. belly rubs (never assume!), and know that every cat runs on their own scheduleâusually ruled by snacks and sunbeams. Iâll make sure their litterâs clean, their bowls are full, and they get just the right mix of playtime and peace. While youâre out, Iâll be their cozy companionâsomeone to chase the laser pointer, refill the treat jar, and most importantly, make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally unbothered. Cat care with a personal touchâbecause your kitty deserves nothing less than the royal treatment! đž I work a hybrid work schedule with only 2 days in the office. I have incredibly flexibility with my hours and can work remotely from anywhere. Your pets comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I aim for a calm, loving environment where your furry friend can feel relaxedâeven when youâre away. In My Home: (I do have a 2 year old cat that can be kept separate). I provide a clean, pet-friendly space where your dog or cat can relax, play, and feel part of the family. Theyâll get plenty of attention, regular walks (for dogs), playtime, and a cozy spot to nap. I keep to their usual routine as closely as possibleâfeeding times, walks, medications, and even cuddle preferencesâbecause consistency makes pets feel secure. In Your Home: I know how important your petâs familiar environment is. When I visit or stay in your home, I respect your space and follow your care instructions to the letter. Iâll make sure your pet is well-fed, exercised, and given lots of affection. Whether itâs scooping the litter box, refilling water bowls, giving meds, or just spending time keeping them company, I treat your pets (and your home) with the care and respect they deserve. No matter the setting, my goal is always the same: to make sure your pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while youâre away.
âLogan was so great with our dogs and we would definitely book him again! One of them has resource guarding issues and Logan was confident in handling any aggression that might come up. He spent tons of time with them, walked them and played outside a bunch too. He asked how much communication / how often we wanted updates and sent tons of great pictures. He even printed out a few for us to have for frames, which was so thoughtful and sweet! I could tell our dogs had a great time with him and I felt great about having him there watching them. Logan also made sure to ask questions during the meet and greet and made me feel confident that he could handle any issues and that he cared for my dogs. I would definitely recommend him to others!â

âOrima is incredible!! She was so thorough and attentive to our doggos, making sure they were happy felt loved while we were away for a few days for a wedding! We had a terrible experience with a doggy daycare, so having a loving caring dog sitter really feels like a blessing!! We truly look forward to having Orima sit for us again!!â

âKeara was responsive when I reached out. I do wish we had gotten more updates on our critters, but they were fed, watered, and let out on a regular schedule during her stay.â

âThis was our first time using Christaâs services and we would gladly do so again! We were gone for several days and while itâs not easy to trust the care of your pets and home to just anyone, Christa was fantastic - communication was frequent and thorough. Everything was in order upon our return and our girls seemed to have had a great time with her. We havenât had the best of luck with dog sitters but it looks like weâve found the right (and hopefully long term) match. Highest recommendations!â

âFinn has watched my two animals twice now and has been excellent both stays. He communicates well, takes many photos and gives lots of updates! He is wonderful and I would highly recommend.â

About: Growing up I was my neighborhoodâs pet sitter. From Parker the Golden Retriever to Charlie and Choco the Boykin Spaniels, all the way to Pepper the tortoiseshell cat, I formed deep loving connections that still last to this day. I am experienced with walking, playing, training, and administering medications. I love to keep your space how you prefer to have it, including keeping up with regular cleaning routines. I work part time and can modify my hours if given two weeks notice, allowing for me to care and love for your fur baby whenever you need! I am available weekdays and weekends, and on my regular work schedule can visit at 7am, 10am, and anytime after 7pm. I am available for overnight services as well! I have three beautiful cats, Juniper, Rose, and Panini. Our community is full of love, play, and connection. I have a medium sized bathroom where I sometimes foster cats/kittens, and can house other animals when needed, while still keeping my cats separate. This is an alternative to them being crated or in a kennel while you are away, and although they will not have free roam of the apartment, they will still get to go outside for walks and play, and receive lots of pets and love!
âKarena was a wonderful pet sitter for us! Our usually skittish chihuahua mix even came to like sitting by jet and getting pets. Her calm caring energy really helps anxious dogs! Karena also sent pics and videos throughout our booking which was very reassuring. Overall, we highly recommend her!â

âWe loved Sarah! She was very communicative, she sent us lots of pictures, was very easy to work with, AND our dogs loved her! Sheâs a gem. Our fav dog sitter by far. ?â¤ď¸â
âNina was absolutely incredible. From the moment she showed up for the Meet & Greet, I could tell she had the right energy to handle my huskies as well as my cats. She was even able to get Rose, my shy cat, to come out of her shell! Nina communicated well throughout the entire visit, took great pictures, followed care instructions to a T, and even seemed to bond with my pets during her stay. I highly recommend Nina for anyone looking for a sitter.â

âAngela took wonderful care of our babies and home, while we were away for the holidays. She provided plenty of updates, and daily photos, that gave us such peace of mind. Highly recommend! We canât wait to have her back again :)â

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12, walking them, taking them out, playing with them, and having down time. I have two dogs currently, a small one and a large one, so I can care for any size dog! I love pets of any kind! I currently work part time and am a part time college student but I have free time in the day and some nights! I love pets so I will fit my schedule around them! I will be caring for my clients pets in their home. I can care for them with any specific routines and schedules as needed. I am flexible.

About: Hey, Iâm Doug. Iâve had dogs pretty much my whole life and canât imagine it any other way. Iâve owned and loved several different breeds over the years, and right now I share my home with a big, lovable German Shepherd and a 16 year old calico cat who has a lot of sass and attitude. Iâm also a dad of two, and while my kids are in school Iâm looking to earn some extra income doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outside, going on long walks, throwing the ball until your dog is tired before I am, and ending the day with plenty of snuggles. Iâm very responsible and take pet care seriously, but I also try to keep things easy and fun. Iâll always keep you in the loop with updates and photos so you know your pet is happy, safe, and getting lots of attention. If youâre looking for someone who treats your pets like theyâre part of the family, Iâd love to help out. Iâm primarily available on weekdays between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, which lines up well with mid day check ins, drop ins, and visits while youâre at work. Iâm also available some evenings, depending on the day. Iâm a parent of two, so I focus on providing reliable care during school hours and select evenings when I can give your pet my full attention. If you have a schedule question or a special request, feel free to reach out. Iâm always happy to talk through what might work best. When Iâm caring for pets in your home, I try to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I know how important familiarity is, especially when their people are away. I follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medication, litter box care, playtime, and any little quirks your pet might have. I always make sure your home is left just as I found it. Food and water areas stay clean, litter boxes are scooped, and I do a quick check to make sure everything looks safe and secure before I leave. I also spend time with your pet based on what theyâre comfortable with, whether thatâs playtime, gentle attention, or just calm company. Iâll keep you updated with notes and photos so you know how things are going and can feel at ease while youâre away. My goal is for you to feel confident that both your pet and your home are being well cared for.
About: From taking care of my neighbors pets, to taking care of cows, I have years of experience caring for pets. I have great communication, integrity, and compassion for pets and have always loved them. Animals bring me joy and I love to help people. Being in college has made me miss my pets and so I hope to take care of some soon! Your pets are in trusted hands! I am currently at UNC Charlotte studying Civil Engineering and I do not have a part time job so I have plenty of free time on my hands. Any weekend event youâre gone for, you call me and Iâll be there! Back at home, I have a big fenced yard and comfortable beds through the house. I also have a semi strict routine. I have taken great care of my pets, two dogs and one cat, that if one is sick, vet appointments are made immediately. As far as clients, I am very adaptive and flexible with the routine and requirements for pet care. I donât skip steps and I put the pets care first. I make sure to accommodate to the pet and what it needs for the best quality care. I enjoy every second of pets sitting because I am confident with my work ethic.
âThis was a super last minute booking as my original plan feel through the morning we were leaving. We were super grateful to have someone willing to take care of our cats with no time to plan whatsoever. Everything went smoothly and great communication all weekend.â

Harris-Houston pet parents share their Rover experiences
The fact that Yasmine was available and so professional on such short notice after our original sitter cancelled last minute was amazing. She left the house exactly as she found it (I suspect the living room was cleaner) and took great care of my boys. Absolutely book with her if you have the need, you won't be disappointed.

Laney is amazing! She was so punctual for any meeting we had. She always got up the same time every morning to take care of our 4 animals. She sent us pictures while we were gone and left the house exactly as we left it while being comfortable but extremely respectful of our house. Could not recommend more.

Bridget was SO amazing with our elderly pets I canât say enough great things about her. We booked last minute as we just moved to the area and had to go out of town right after moving. Between 3 dogs and 2 cats they all have their own foods and medication routines and Bridget was able to accommodate all their needs. She was great at communicating her stay, sending us picture and video updates while we were away, & left a kind handwritten card at the end of her petsitting booking. The peace of mind I felt with her watching our pets and ease of working with her gave me so much comfort & Iâd recommend her to anyone needing assistance with their furry loved ones! THANK YOU BRIDGET!!!

We couldnât have asked for a better rover than Sam to watch our dog for a week when we went on vacation! She was consistently updating us with pictures and we were NEVER worried for a second about our dog while we were away. Our dog definitely loved her and she was great with him especially considering heâs very big and energetic. Overall, we would recommend Sam to anybody and will definitely be booking with her in the future!
