“Victory is awesome! We have her come let out and play with our needy German Shepherd a few times a week. He loves her and gets the zoomies every visit. She is attentive, caring, thoughtful, trustworthy, and gives great detail about letting us know how our dog is doing after her visits. She has really helped ease my worries about leaving our dog home alone while we’re at work. It’s obvious she loves animals and has great experience taking care of them. Our dog can’t wait to have her come back and play! Thank you, Victory!”

About: I have lived with and cared for pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments for all my life. Animal wellbeing is my #1 passion and I have volunteered with multiple animal welfare organizations, where I have provided love, care, and a sense of routine and safety for many dogs and cats. This experience, coupled with my certification in pet first aid, ensure I can offer top-notch care for your fur babies...and leave tails wagging! I currently work part-time from home, and have an uber-flexible schedule, so I can easily fit walks and drop-ins into my day. Advanced notice is appreciated, but I will also honor last-minute requests whenever possible. I am extremely cognizant of the trust clients place in their pet carers and always honor that trust. I follow the instructions you give for your pet's care and will always let you know immediately if there are any issues (pet won't eat, limps, etc.). In short, I care for your fur babies as if they were my own - and believe me, people tell me that if they were ever to be reincarnated, they would want to come back as one of my pets! At home, I have a fenced yard and two rescued, and very friendly, golden retrievers who love to make new friends. While my dogs have the run of the house and sleep in my bedroom, I also can easily crate or restrict your pet to a particular room, if you prefer.

About: Hi! I’m Ashly, your pets new favorite human (besides you, of course). Whether your kitty/puppy is a social butterfly, a shy hider, or a professional napper, I’m here to keep them happy, fed, and purring/tail wagging while you’re away. I speak fluent “meow,” understand the importance of chin scritches vs. belly rubs (never assume!), and know that every cat runs on their own schedule—usually ruled by snacks and sunbeams. I’ll make sure their litter’s clean, their bowls are full, and they get just the right mix of playtime and peace. While you’re out, I’ll be their cozy companion—someone to chase the laser pointer, refill the treat jar, and most importantly, make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally unbothered. Cat care with a personal touch—because your kitty deserves nothing less than the royal treatment! 🐾 I work a hybrid work schedule with only 2 days in the office. I have incredibly flexibility with my hours and can work remotely from anywhere. Your pets comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I aim for a calm, loving environment where your furry friend can feel relaxed—even when you’re away. In My Home: (I do have a 2 year old cat that can be kept separate). I provide a clean, pet-friendly space where your dog or cat can relax, play, and feel part of the family. They’ll get plenty of attention, regular walks (for dogs), playtime, and a cozy spot to nap. I keep to their usual routine as closely as possible—feeding times, walks, medications, and even cuddle preferences—because consistency makes pets feel secure. In Your Home: I know how important your pet’s familiar environment is. When I visit or stay in your home, I respect your space and follow your care instructions to the letter. I’ll make sure your pet is well-fed, exercised, and given lots of affection. Whether it’s scooping the litter box, refilling water bowls, giving meds, or just spending time keeping them company, I treat your pets (and your home) with the care and respect they deserve. No matter the setting, my goal is always the same: to make sure your pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while you’re away.

“Elizabeth is a real life saver. We had gone out of town and left our pets with a sitter, but the sitter wasn’t able to give our elder cat our heart medicine. We reached out to Elizabeth and she was able to go and give the medicine without any issues and spent some time with our pets to make sure they weren’t lonely while our sitter was in school. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future when we go out of town!”

About: What sets me apart is my calm, attentive approach to pet care, especially with cats. I have eight years of hands-on experience caring for pets with a wide range of personalities. I am very detail-oriented when it comes to routines, feeding schedules, and litter care, and I always take time to make pets feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I am experienced with administering basic medications, monitoring behavior changes, and providing extra support for senior pets or those who need a slower, gentler pace. I communicate clearly with pet parents and treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. Pet care fits well into my routine. I'm currently a senior at UNC Charlotte and only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which means I have wide availability most days of the week and the weekends. I can center my schedule around pet care needs, including drop-in visits, feedings, and playtime. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m careful to maintain routines, double check doors and windows, and ensure food, water, litter, and enrichment needs are consistently met.
Harris-Houston pet parents share their Rover experiences
Nikita was the absolute best - just the kind of person you want to take care of your pets! Her updates are thorough, and she has amazing attention to details. She holds a lot knowledge and experience with cats, and after our meet and greet, I knew my kitty would be in the best hands :) Nikita will be my go-to pet sitter for the future!

Hannah was AMAZING!! She dropped by to visit my cat while I was out of town and my cat loved her. Even with the cold and snow storms we got, she was dedicated and determined to come and take care of my cat. I truly don’t think anyone else would’ve had the drive to do that, and I would heavily recommend her to anyone that I know and will be using her again in the future!

This was our first time using Rover and Teo made it such an easy experience. He offered a meet and greet ahead of time, was accommodating when I needed to add an additional day of care, and truly eased so much anxiety I felt leaving my pet at home during travel with his great communication skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing care for their pet!

Emma was very prompt in her arrival times and did a great job at communicating throughout her visit. She send lots of pictures of my pups and provided ample updates about my typically anxious pup which helped put my mind at ease. Would definitely use again in the future!

Chloe was such a huge help, when we reached out for a last minute cat sitter! She responded quickly every single time I messaged her, took amazing care of my babies, stayed for her entire time and actually took the time to play and get to know my Kitties. Not to mention she sent the cutest kitties and videos everyday. Thank you again, Chloe! I would definitely book again in the future.

Laurel has done an amazing job with my kitty this week. She is an anxious cat and I can tell from updates and photos that Laurel has do an exceptional job with her. I am so thankful to have found her! It has totally eased my mind knowing Princess was in her care this week.

Lauren is amazing, she kept my cat baby super happy, played with him and sent the most adorable pictures. I could rest assured that he was in great hands because she was diligent, asked good questions and went above and beyond. I’d totally book with her again! 🙂
