About: I am an experienced animal caregiver and dedicated animal love! Not only have I had pets my entire life; but I actually to went to college to learn more about them! My first Bachelor's degree is from Michigan State University and is in Animal Science and Biotechnology. My passion is loving and caring for others - especially those who cannot speak for themselves - like animals! I have experience working in a veterinary clinic as an assistant and receptionist, as well as experience working on a dairy farm and with a multitude of animals. I have the skill set to administer medications for pets that need it as well as care for ill or elderly pets as it occurs. I'm available to do drop-ins and walks on days when I am not working. I am ready to care for your pets as I care for mine! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message or call me! I live in the Oxford/Lake Orion area and work 3days/week at a local hospital. Nursing is my full time job but I still enjoy loving and caring for animals and pets. I try to make my personal and work schedule accommodate the care and beds of your pet. We have a fenced in yard with lots of grass and space for dogs to run around and play. Our home is a tri-level so comfortability with stairs as well as wood or carpet floors is helpful.

About: I have both personal and professional experience taking care of animals. My experience has been primary with dogs and cats, however, I have looked out for turtles, fish and birds as well. I have a passion for learning and understanding animals. My experience also comes from volunteering with the Humane Society and a local shelter helping caring and socializing cats and dogs. I understand the stress that comes with getting good care for your beloved pet, therefore I take great pride in caring for them as if they are my own. Other hobbies include reading and watching reality TV with my pup. I currently work from home 4 out of the 5 days of the week. I can let your pup out as many times as they need. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so all potty breaks will be done on leash. I have the space to crate if needed, but will need to provide your own.

About: I am experienced in taking care of dogs including those with high needs that require medications and puppies as young as 3 months. I have had wonderful experience with walking, boarding and overnight stays over weekends. I am very engaging when I care for dogs, always making sure they get plenty of play and exercise if they are physically able, and I enjoy incorporating some basic training as a part of that play. I am sensitive to different needs of each dog and I socially accommodate for each of their needs. I am a very patient and warm caretaker. I build my schedule around my responsibilities and planned pet care but I typically wake up around 7am and go to sleep around midnight. I am used to frequent outings for dogs because I raised mine from when he was very young and he needed to go out about every hour. I have learned to be very patient and read signs of discomfort and needs in order to keep all animals safe, happy, healthy, and comfortable. I have close access to a secluded dog park and beautiful green spaces in a very walkable neighborhood. If I am watching a dog in a new area, I always look for similar spaces where dogs can safely engage with their environment. Within the home, I like to combine toys and training to get the most out of my time there. I am very affectionate towards cats and will help them get their daily activity in. I know some cats are nervous and need their space, and I can always accommodate for their individual needs.
