I have been around dogs & cats since I was a kid and owned cats and dogs since college. I have not lived without an animal in my life until recently. Our senior dog crossed the rainbow. I help my neighbors with their pets, I have fostered Guinea pigs & owned hamsters, toads, & fish. I am an online teacher and work from home, so I have flexibility to care for furry friends. I would love to see a happy dog greet me at the door, go on walks with, play fetch, & snuggle with.

Karen took such great care of our boy Wallace for 10 days and I frankly can't wait to bring him back in the future! Her yard has a full privacy fence and it lush and massive, perfect for dogs who love being outside. It's clear from her pictures that Wallace had his own great vacation and felt at home with her and her kids home from college. She took care of him like her own by adding area rugs to make him feel more confident on the wood floor, by adjusting his eating situation to make him comfortable, and by being so kind as to let him hog her bed :) would not hesitate to recommend Karen! Thank you for making our time away from him worry free!
Karen was great with our two boys! Super responsive and sent us lots of good updates. We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs in her capable hands and they had a great time.

Karen is helping me positively acclimate my foster dog to staying away from our home. She has been very attentive and I appreciate the time she has taken to get to know Lady and make her as comfortable as possible. We’re working up to longer stays and so far, so good - I think Lady can tell that Karen is truly a dog lover!

Schedule
I work from home, so that gives me flexibility to make visits and be home all day with any pets that were to stay with me in my home. I have 2 high school kids who LOVE animals. We are the type of people who share pet videos and memes all the time & say hi to other dogs on walks. Our family dog of 11.5 years passed last year so we have dog beds, food/water bowls, gates, toys, leashes, & crate if needed.

I have a fenced in yard with a privacy fence, crate, beds, toys, leashes, food & water bowls, baby gate, and even a dog pool. I only board 1 family at a time & require meet and greets to ensure we are a good fit for each other.
A typical day
I walk a daily route that goes through a park and has a creek with ducks swimming. There are so many things to see and smell. I also have a dog puzzle and toys to stimulate a dog’s mind. Playing fetch and just hanging out are some things we can do together.
