“I’m so happy I found Andrea and Tyler! They’re both so kind and welcoming, and it’s clear they really love dogs. They took the time to carefully introduce my 100-pound lab, Amos, to their two sweet, easygoing pups, which put me at ease since he hasn’t had a lot of experience around other dogs. I really appreciated how tuned in they were to his needs - making sure he got breaks and some solo time with them when he needed it. That kind of care means so much. I’m looking forward to having Amos spend time with them in the future - they’ve already been such a supportive part of his socialization journey!”

“Dan took great care of Maggie, he kept me updated during the day with activities and pictures. Maggie got back home exhausted from a full day of games and activities with Dan’s pack, we loved it! Dan is also very flexible and accommodating, I had to reschedule several times and he was very understanding.”

“Carolina was so nice! She was super flexible with me as I was in a rush dropping off my pup. I got plenty of updates and photos throughout the evening. I would definitely rebook with her again!”

“Magnolia was wiped out in the back seat before we got 10 minutes down the road! Exactly what she needs while mom and dad are at work. Brianna also sent pics and videos throughout the day, which was nice.”

“Carlee loves going to Yvonne’s house. We open the door and she runs right in. She loves the dog door and fenced yard and sometimes there are deer outside the fence for her to bark at!”

“As always, my dogs loved their stay with AnnMarie! They returned home happy & sleepy after a full day of fun. Thank you, AnnMarie, for loving my dogs like your own :)”

About: Hi there! My husband and I have both grown up with dogs and currently have a black lab who is our whole heart! I work from home so I can give your pup all the love and attention they need throughout the day and night. We have a large yard for playing, and a gated off deck (if your pup enjoys sunbathing as much as ours does). Our Maui girl is very playful and loves making new friends. We have a 4 month old baby, so must be comfortable with babies. Working from home allows me to care for your pup all day and night! I rarely leave the house throughout the day and can take the dogs on plenty of walks and they can enjoy time in the yard or on the deck! We are a very dog friendly home and aim to ensure your pup is comfortable and feels relaxed while they are with us. We have a spacious home and yard with plenty of cozy spots.

About: Hi pet parents, I would be happy to care for your dog while you are away. Since I moved to an apartment, it's been a while since being on Rover. For many years, I enjoyed having different dogs and their many personalities in my home. My home became there "home away from home" for my regulars. Pet parents became very comfortable, and trusted me, knowing I was a second mom to their babies. I am a mom to a very sweet springer spaniel. Her name is DeeDee. She is nine years old, shy and very mild mannered. The two of us are settled here, no one else in our place, and would enjoy having a dog companion occasionally. As DeeDee would tell you, I give lots of lovies, hugs and kisses. With all of my attention, your pup would feel safe and secure. Hesitant parents of senior or special needs' dogs can feel comfortable knowing I am experienced with their extra care needs. My knowledge and experience come from living and caring for dogs all of my life, as well as being a long time member of the English Springer Spaniel Club of Michigan. My springer friends are a wealth of knowledge from their decades of experience raising pups. I have learned obedience, socialization, grooming, show conformation, and health care, as well as true-to-life tips from these pros. I am home most of the time, and will limit my time away if I have your dog. I always prefer a meet and greet before your scheduled visit. At that time I will get to know your dog, ask you about their likes and needs, and determine if they are a good fit. I would be happy to give you references. The care and safety of your 'baby', is my priority. Thank you for your consideration. Margaret First thing in the morning is a walk, usually a couple blocks. Then breakfast. Then, usually, is a nap. Short breaks outside a time or two during the day. Walk again between 5-6. Dinner. Out again before bed, 11-1. This is DeeDee's schedule. Changes to accommodate your dog are easily added. Watch them carefully for signs of anxiety. Talk and touch them to assure them they are ok, and I am their friend. Make them comfortable with something that reminds them of home. Sit, talk, hold and pet to give them comfort and the feeling of safety. My apartment is small so I don't lose track of a curious visitor. Though I live in Pontiac, I'm in a safe complex on the very northeast tip. Auburn Hills is on the other side of Walton. That saying, I am very conscious of what is going on around us.
About: i’m very serious about being professional when it comes to my business, i take pride in being the best sitter there is . i feel it is my passion to take care of the doggies . i’m currently working part time so your pets will have my full attention ! i will work around my schedule to stay home full time to provide pet care . I have a fenced yard, a elder cat, and a six month old golden retriever . there will be not one second we won’t be watching your pets .
About: I have both personal and professional experience taking care of animals. My experience has been primary with dogs and cats, however, I have looked out for turtles, fish and birds as well. I have a passion for learning and understanding animals. My experience also comes from volunteering with the Humane Society and a local shelter helping caring and socializing cats and dogs. I understand the stress that comes with getting good care for your beloved pet, therefore I take great pride in caring for them as if they are my own. Other hobbies include reading and watching reality TV with my pup. I currently work from home 4 out of the 5 days of the week. I can let your pup out as many times as they need. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so all potty breaks will be done on leash. I have the space to crate if needed, but will need to provide your own.
About: As a lifelong dog lover who works from home, your pup will never be left alone, they get real, attentive companionship all day, every day. With 15 years of experience, I’ve cared for dogs of every personality, from couch-cuddling seniors to high-energy adventurers and I’m fully comfortable administering medications and managing any special health needs. The best part? I live right next to a dog park, so your pup gets fresh air and plenty of tail-wagging fun just steps from the door. Whether you need daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I tailor everything to what makes your dog happiest. I’ll keep you updated with photos, videos and check-ins every step of the way, so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands. MEET AND GREETS: I always welcome meet and greets, your comfort and your dog's comfort matter to me! To keep things running smoothly for both of us, all meet and greets are kept to under 20 minutes. This allows me to stay on schedule while coordinating care for multiple families and my returning clients. It's a quick, low-pressure visit so your pup can sniff around a familiar space and you can ask any questions before booking. Just reach out and we'll find a time that works! ONE ON ONE CARE/ NO MIXED HOUSEHOLD: I take pride in offering dedicated, one on one care for every dog in my home. I do not host pets from multiple different families at the same time only your animal (or animals!) will have my full, undivided attention throughout their stay. If you have multiple pets, absolutely bring them all! I'm happy to care for your whole crew together. The one-household policy simply means your pets are never mixed with unfamiliar animals from other families, keeping the environment calm, safe, and stress-free. QUESTIONS ABOUT RATES? My pricing reflects the level of care your pet actually receives. Because I only take one family at a time, your dog isn't sharing my attention with a house full of strangers' pets, they get a personal, attentive experience from drop-off to pick-up. You're not paying for a spot in a group setting. You're paying for individualized care, a calm and focused environment, and a sitter who is fully present for your pet. BEYOND DOGS: I've cared for more than just dogs and cats! I have experience with exotic animals including ferrets and other small pets. If you have an animal that's a little outside the ordinary, don't hesitate to ask, chances are I've got you covered. Have questions, special requirements, or just want to chat before booking? Please reach out! I'm always happy to talk through anything to make sure this is the right fit for you and your pet. Because I work from home, your dog gets potty breaks, meals, playtime, and medications on their schedule, not a rushed one. I work around your routine to make handing off your pup as seamless and stress-free as possible. Every dog is welcomed like family from the moment they arrive. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, they’re treated as part of the household, free to roam, claim the couch, and make themselves completely at home.
About: Hi, I’m Mariam Aziz. My fiancé and I have two pups together and are both huge animal and nature lovers. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have always held the responsibility of training and caring for them. My fiancé works from home so he’ll always be with the pups- they’ll have all day access to go outside and will be under constant surveillance. I work in emergency medicine working 3 shifts per week- schedule varies weekly. I hang out with the dogs before and after work. The days I work my fiancé takes them out and has a similar routine as mine. We have 2.5 acres of fenced in yard at the end of a street with 5 more acres of woods with a trail we take the dogs to walk in daily. We have 2 dogs for you dog to play with. Our dogs are our children- they’re very closely watched and cared for with scrutiny- your pups will get the same love, attention, and care as mine.
Lake Angelus dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alexis is the real dog whisperer. We drop off our 90-pound dog for doggy day care M-F, and I never worry about him for a second. I know he is in great hands with Alexis. She sends lots of pictures, and they always make me laugh—especially when she does a group photo with all of his doggy day care friends. Not only does he get so much attention from Alexis, but he has also really settled into his new pack. Normally, I do not love the idea of my dogs being around random other dogs because you just never know how they are going to interact or what behaviors they may have. But with Alexis, I feel completely comfortable. She only takes a small number of dogs at a time and does such a great job of keeping everything calm and well managed. I highly recommend Alexis—although selfishly, I almost do not want anyone else to know how amazing she is because I never want my dog to lose his spot. We love Alexis!!!
