About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. I am also an avid organic gardener and I love to grow my own food. I own a quaint cottage home with a fully fenced yard. We were going out of town for a week, and had planned to board Sherri at a kennel, however after a horrible evaluation day at the kennel we decided that it just wouldn't work. She was miserable and scared the whole five hours she was there. So we started looking for other options. We found Bradley and after a meet and greet with Sherri, concluded that it could work. What a great experience it turned out to be. Sherri was very at ease with him and the other dog he was watching. Bradley sent a daily update and picture, and told us that Sherri was chill and just lounged around during the day. For reference, when we have previously left Sherri with a friend for a weekend, she's been anxious and refused to eat. We are planning to rebook with Bradley for our next vacation.”

About: Hi pet parents, I would be happy to care for your dog while you are away. Since I moved to an apartment, it's been a while since being on Rover. For many years, I enjoyed having different dogs and their many personalities in my home. My home became there "home away from home" for my regulars. Pet parents became very comfortable, and trusted me, knowing I was a second mom to their babies. I am a mom to a very sweet springer spaniel. Her name is DeeDee. She is nine years old, shy and very mild mannered. The two of us are settled here, no one else in our place, and would enjoy having a dog companion occasionally. As DeeDee would tell you, I give lots of lovies, hugs and kisses. With all of my attention, your pup would feel safe and secure. Hesitant parents of senior or special needs' dogs can feel comfortable knowing I am experienced with their extra care needs. My knowledge and experience come from living and caring for dogs all of my life, as well as being a long time member of the English Springer Spaniel Club of Michigan. My springer friends are a wealth of knowledge from their decades of experience raising pups. I have learned obedience, socialization, grooming, show conformation, and health care, as well as true-to-life tips from these pros. I am home most of the time, and will limit my time away if I have your dog. I always prefer a meet and greet before your scheduled visit. At that time I will get to know your dog, ask you about their likes and needs, and determine if they are a good fit. I would be happy to give you references. The care and safety of your 'baby', is my priority. Thank you for your consideration. Margaret First thing in the morning is a walk, usually a couple blocks. Then breakfast. Then, usually, is a nap. Short breaks outside a time or two during the day. Walk again between 5-6. Dinner. Out again before bed, 11-1. This is DeeDee's schedule. Changes to accommodate your dog are easily added. Watch them carefully for signs of anxiety. Talk and touch them to assure them they are ok, and I am their friend. Make them comfortable with something that reminds them of home. Sit, talk, hold and pet to give them comfort and the feeling of safety. My apartment is small so I don't lose track of a curious visitor. Though I live in Pontiac, I'm in a safe complex on the very northeast tip. Auburn Hills is on the other side of Walton. That saying, I am very conscious of what is going on around us.
About: Erica and I have always loved & had dogs in our homes ever since we were kids. They were family, & we look forward to treating yours like family too. We have a very flexible with my schedule. We enjoy playing nerf dog, frisbie and fetch with the dogs during the day, and spending restful quiet time with them during the evenings. About: I've care for my childhood dog since he was a puppy and all the way till his passing of old age. I have two sister's who all have doggies and they rely on me to care for them when needed. I know the importance of maintaining routine, identifying any triggers they might have, and being alert for any situation. I have a dog of my own, and through training him. i have learned a lot more then i knew before. But of course , you never truly stop learning. I'm excited to get to know each and every pet that i get the chance to meet. I work part time. I'm available 6 am to 10:30 am all days. Weekdays it varies. Some days I'm free until 4 pm. Other days I'm free 5pm till 10 pm. That is why i need a day in advance to know. I live alone with my dog, Zeus. he is super friendly with all dogs but i also have an extra bed room that is not used. whatever it is that you need me to do, i will do it.

I’ve been caring for pets for family, friends, and clients since I was a teenager, and pet sitting has always been something I’ve found incredibly rewarding. I know that leaving your pets in someone else’s care can be stressful, so my goal is to make the experience as comfortable and worry free as possible—for both you and your pets. I’m attentive to routines, personalities, and individual needs, whether that means an energetic dog who needs plenty of playtime, a senior pet who prefers a slower pace, or a shy cat who needs a little extra patience to feel comfortable. I currently share my home with my cats, Rosemary, Cheezel, Wasabi, and my Great Pyrenees, Marsha.. They’ve taught me plenty about the joys, quirks, and occasional chaos that come with having pets! I’m responsible, patient, communicative, and attentive to detail. I’ll treat your pets, your home, and your instructions with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m able to plan my day around scheduled drop-ins, walks, and house visits rather than rushing from one appointment to the next. I’m comfortable working with different routines and can follow your pet’s normal feeding, medication, play, and bathroom schedules as closely as possible. I understand that consistency is especially important , so I make an effort to keep their routine familiar while you’re away. I also make communication a priority and will keep you updated with messages and photos throughout my visits. My goal is to make caring for your pets a reliable part of my routine while giving you peace of mind that they’re getting the attention and care they need. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where I can keep pets in the environment they know and feel comfortable in. I believe staying in their own space helps reduce stress, especially for cats who can be sensitive to changes in their surroundings. During each visit, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and care instructions as closely as possible. This can include feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, enrichment, walks, and medication or other special needs as discussed. I’ll take the time to interact with your pet based on their personality—whether they want lots of attention and playtime or prefer a quieter visit with some gentle companionship. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual. If I notice something concerning, I’ll contact you promptly rather than assuming it’s normal. I’ll treat your home with care and respect, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve always loved being around animas, I have experience of animal care of well over 10 years. From horses, to dogs, cats, to rabbits. I am very comfortable being around big and small animals! I am currently babysitting a few days during the week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (rarely Wednesdays) from 1-6pm. I am usually very flexible with my schedule and always make an attempt to work things out! I will always make sure your pet has fresh, clean water and always goes potty! I always clean up after myself, and I put everything back where I found it.
About: We are a doggy dog house. Our girls are rescue dogs from age of one now into their senior years. Our home is perfect for the pups: Large fenced in backyard. One story home. Freedom to sleep wherever they want. This home environment is the best for your baby. I am home a lot. My schedule revolves around dog sitting. I may go to the gym or grocery store but for the most part there is no where I need to be. I have a large fenced in back yard. Lots of room to play. About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. On the days I am in the office (Typically M-W) I will only be available for drop ins/walks after 2:30 pm and early mornings. I do ask that if you need me M-W that times are flexible, I cannot always do hard set times. When I am WFH, I am available all day. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.
About: I have taken care of lots of pets growing up. My parents dog is in her senior years so getting a lot of practice with that as well. I love animals but my apartment doesn’t allow me to have a pet, I miss having one around. I work a hybrid position so my schedule can be more flexible on some days! I am also open most nights after the work day and on weekends! I live in an apartment so my home is not the best for a pet at the moment, but I am very respectful in someone else’s space and prefer a clean environment so I will always pick up after myself & your pet.

“Bradley took wonderful care of our dog and was a lifesaver. We were going out of town for a week, and had planned to board Sherri at a kennel, however after a horrible evaluation day at the kennel we decided that it just wouldn't work. She was miserable and scared the whole five hours she was there. So we started looking for other options. We found Bradley and after a meet and greet with Sherri, concluded that it could work. What a great experience it turned out to be. Sherri was very at ease with him and the other dog he was watching. Bradley sent a daily update and picture, and told us that Sherri was chill and just lounged around during the day. For reference, when we have previously left Sherri with a friend for a weekend, she's been anxious and refused to eat. We are planning to rebook with Bradley for our next vacation.”
