About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes since I was little. I grew up with animals my whole life. When I turned 13, my neighbors would ask me to take care of their dogs and/or cats when they were gone. Whether it was feeding and letting them out or going on walks and cleaning the cat litter box or even giving them medication. I am currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota majoring in Animal Science / Pre-vet. My summer schedule looks like. I am free on Mondays and Wednesdays all day until 3pm, Sundays are completely open. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturdays are my working/internship days. I can usually squeeze in a visit before and after work! I make sure that my dog is safe and happy at all times, I will hold the same standards for your pets. I am able to crate any dogs that need to be in their crate throughout the day, I can clean up any messes they make.

“Sarah was phenomenal from the first contact! She took the time to get to know our dogs and truly cared for them. The pictures, videos and updates throughout the stay were much appreciated! Our dogs can be high maintenance so I truly appreciate her patience and love towards them ❤️”

“Elizabeth was a great replacement for us. Treated our dogs as her own. Kept the house clean and sent daily texts about how the girls were doing. We definitely made the right choice in choosing her! It can be scary leaving your babies with a stranger, but after a day away I was at ease. My girls are older and need meds, wear diapers sometimes, have special diets and she handled it all perfectly!!”

About: Hi! I'm Kayle, a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, a cozy overnight stay, or just some extra attention while you're away, I’m here to help. I treat every pet like family, because they are! Reliable, communicative, and always happy to send photo updates. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I currently work full time but my schedule always varies and I am off every Saturday. I dont have any pets so all pets are welcome to my home for as long as need be! I have lots of trails outside my apartment im sure your doggo would love! And big windows for then to sit and watch out of! My boyfriend and I love dogs and could sit and play with them for hours!

About: I grew up with large dogs and have dogsat in other people’s homes for eight years. I am very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, medical needs, and personalities. Dogs give me so much joy, and I would be happy to care for yours! I worked remotely for the University of Minnesota, but was unfortunately laid off due to funding cuts. I currently work on a small farm part-time and dog-sit to make extra income. My hours are very flexible. I am happy to provide any dog and house related care (e.g., getting the mail). I comfortable with a dog sleeping in or out of a crate, feeding any food (e.g., raw food diet), giving medications or performing procedures (I am a certified EMT), and providing exercise (e.g., walking, hiking, fetch, swimming).

“Amazing! She did a great job taking care of our pups. Also was amazing with communication about our little guy who has anxiety when we leave sometimes. Thankyou soo much! We would definitely re book!”

About: I've been a dog owner for 40 years, and was a foster for a few years for MARS. Although I specialize in German Shepherds, I have taken care of just about every type of dog. My housemate, where I currently live, has 2 rescues - one is a lab/Pitbull mix. The other is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. I also dog sit regularly for my daughter's dog (rescue Pitbull mix) and my son's dog (Belgian Malinois). If I have a special skill I guess it would be that I understand rescues. I'm semi-retired and have a very flexible schedule. I'm in the North Metro but I occasionally drive for Lyft, so I'm familiar with the Twin Cities in general. I'm an early riser so if your dog is as well - that's fine with me! The dogs I've cared for get several walks per day - or ball tosses if there is a fenced in yard. For those dogs who get along with others, we love the dog park. We make sure to go potty before bedtime! My dogs get two meals per day - but if yours get three meals, that's fine too. I've taken care of dogs who need daily pills and those which are in heat. I don't need much when staying at your home other than internet. I bring my own food. I prefer longer stays rather than short ones so I can learn the dog's routine.

About: I have worked with both of my dogs and put them both through basic obedience. I have previous experience with bully breeds and huskies and enjoy walks and brush outs. I am currently in PTA school and I am home during the days. I have a clinical coming up October - December but before that I am home all day. My two dogs Fritz and Carl are loved and cared for as if they were my human children. Spoiled as they sleep in our bed with us and lounge on the couch.

About: From growing up around animals to pet sitting for friends and family, I’ve built a strong foundation in compassionate and reliable pet care. I’ve looked after dogs, cats, and even chinchillas. I’m comfortable with puppies and their unique needs, including socializing them, crate training to playtime, and potty breaks. My schedule is pretty open and flexible, which allows me to give each pet the time and attention they need. I currently take care of my own pets every day, so feeding, playtime, and keeping a clean, safe environment are already part of my regular routine. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for in your absence. I make sure every pet is well fed, has plenty of fresh water, gets regular and appropriate bathroom breaks, and, of course, lots of love, playtime, and pets. While caregiving for pets I adapt to their personality and routine to make the experience as stress free as possible.

“Emma was on time for our meet and greet and on the day she cared for our dog. She listened to and followed all instructions, asked appropriate questions, and took excellent care of our dog at our home. Next time I need a dog-sitter I will contact Emma first.”

Christine J.
“Christine did a fabulous job taking care of our dog! She sent a message and photo each day we were gone. We have a dog who has many fears, particularly concerning storms and loud noises. In addition, we had just lost our older dog whom Freckles looked up to for guidance and support. We were thrilled that Christine was able to help our dog stay calm through a thunderstorm and brainstormed ways to keep her manage the fear. Our dog was still very sad about losing her sister and Christine was very empathetic, keeping her company. We highly recommend her as a dog sitter and would be happy to use her again.”

Joshua B.
“Josh is a very reliable person. He absolutely loves our dogs, even when one of them is scared of men. If you are looking for your pup to get the walks and snuggles they need while you are gone, Josh is your guy.”
