About: I view caring for dogs as much more than a job. Connection and care for animals comes very natural to me and I view the dogs I care for as family I’m currently working another job, however I want to transition to dog care being more full time for me. I can fit pet care into my mornings and evenings when I am not working. I have a large park right next to my apartment complex. It’s great for walks, playing fetch, and also interaction with another dogs as there is a little fenced in area for the dogs to play. There is also plenty of area in the neighborhoods near by for walking

“Seven years ago, my wife of 30 years passed, and I was alone. Friends said I needed a companion. Thus, Jenny (the wonder dog) found me. Jenny was a rescue dog who was always in pain from being beaten with a bat on her back. Months later, I discovered she would not have a three-year lifespan because she had Addison's disease. This required much daily medication and monthly shots. I am a disabled Veteran with limited mobility. This is when Lori came into our lives. Jenny was always very gentle with me, but after Lori arrived, I discovered we could all go to the beach. Jenny turned into a two-year-old pup who loved the water, and Lori could take her running while I watched. Lori is far more than just caring for a dog but also so much for me. I, too, discovered a new life. Lori gave up much of her personal time for Jenny and me, as well as caring for rescued dogs that came into our lives. Jenny passed six months ago, and Lori is still helping me find another pup.”
