About: In addition to having two senior pets and a cat of my own, I currently work as a veterinary assistant at an emergency animal hospital, where I care for pets in urgent situations and have experience recognizing signs of illness, administering treatments and keeping animals calm and comfortable during stressful times. I also previously worked as a client care representative at an animal specialty hospital, where I developed a strong understanding of pet health, client communication, and the importance of compassionate care. Moreover, I volunteer as a dog walker at the San Diego Humane Society and at a pig sanctuary, which has given me experience working with animals of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy who needs consistency and patience or a senior pet who requires a gentler routine and extra attention, I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs. I treat every pet like my own and keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their fur baby is in caring, knowledgeable hands. I am in hospital during the late afternoons and evenings from Sunday through Wednesday. This means I'm available for morning and midday visits on those days, as well as more flexible availability Thursday through Saturday. I keep my Rover calendar up to date and communicate clearly about my availability. When I'm caring for your pet, I make sure they receive the attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection they need while sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. About: Hi all! I’m Nathan, a San Diego native that grew up in an animal-loving household. We have cared for all kinds animals for as long as I can remember, and there hasn’t been a moment in my life where we did not have a furry, scaly or feathery companion in our home. Fast-forward to now: My partner and I live locally in Chula Vista where we care for our 3 amazing cats together (Hammie, Tuna and Anny). In my free time I enjoy listening to live music, running and golfing. As a local runner I know all the amazing trails and safe routes to take your pet on an a journey we will both thoroughly enjoy. I mostly work from home which happily allows me the flexibility to care for your pets when you are unable to. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. When I was active duty I spent a lot of time watching other service members pets. I would help any time they needed! I trained my own dogs and keep their activity levels up! I am doing school online so I have a VERY flexible schedule! I’m also active so I can do lots of walks and potty breaks! Patience it key!
