About: I am a full-time dog lover! I would love to have a little ranch filled with puppies, but my husband won't have it! So, dog sitting is a nice concession! I've been a pet owner for over 10 years, but grew up in a family of dog lovers. I'm naturally a care giver, and love to ensure the comfort of pets in my care at all times! I'm familiar with dogs of all shapes and sizes, although I prefer smaller breeds as my pooches do best with dogs of their size. We have a large fenced in yard, perfect for our furry friends to get a great dose of exercise and sunshine! Very pet-friendly neighborhood with a dog park onsite, as well. Your pooch is sure to enjoy a stay at our place! My husband and I share the responsibility of caring for our pet guests.
About: Hi all! I’m Nathan, a San Diego native that grew up in an animal-loving household. We have cared for all kinds animals for as long as I can remember, and there hasn’t been a moment in my life where we did not have a furry, scaly or feathery companion in our home. Fast-forward to now: My partner and I live locally in Chula Vista where we care for our 3 amazing cats together (Hammie, Tuna and Anny). In my free time I enjoy listening to live music, running and golfing. As a local runner I know all the amazing trails and safe routes to take your pet on an a journey we will both thoroughly enjoy. I mostly work from home which happily allows me the flexibility to care for your pets when you are unable to. My calendar should be up to date for weekend availability as well I will follow any instructions you leave me and communicate with you every step of the way. You can trust that I will respect and treat your pet like they are my own every time they are in my care

About: You won’t believe how much I care and love dogs. I know that every dog has their own personality and their own needs, so I will always provide and be there for them. I will take care of them like they were my own. I enjoy cuddling and playing with them, It’s a good therapy for me and my family. They will be as comfortable as if they were in their own home. I am home pretty much full time and my schedule is very flexible for anything you and your dog may need. I believe I have a special connection and love for dogs. In case you may need something I am very easy to reach. I’m very professional and responsible with your precious dog.
“Our dog Mango is absolutely in love with Teressa. He adores her and gets so excited every time she arrives. She takes the time to run with him and match his energy, which has made such a positive difference. We really appreciate her patience, kindness, and the genuine care she shows every visit. Teressa is an amazing dog walker for our pup Mango.”

About: Caring for animals is just about one of the best things in this world. My family and I have two of our own and they’re both the bestest doggies in the world, but I am bias😉. We first got our girl Queenie from a family friend who passed on and had no family that she could go to. We couldn’t bear the thought of her going to animal control/shelter life so we took her home. She’s full of personality and spirit and has the ability to bring joy to anyone she meets. Then we started fostering our girl Dorothy! She was rescued by Make A Difference Rescue in Michigan from the chains of a backyard home in Detroit that was raided by police there to serve a warrant. She and two other dogs in the backyard were saved and named after the Golden Girl’s T.V. Show. Thus, we got our girl Dorothy that we call Dory or Squeaker (the sounds she makes in the morning). She has the BEST smile and the cutest little trot in the world. She gets along with everyone and every dog. So that’s my story! I love my two girls to death and ever since they’ve joined our family I’ve been involved with some rescue or shelter in some way or another. I understand that trusting a perfect stranger with your beloved pets is a very difficult thing to do. I am here to help out when needed by providing peace of mind in any way that you like. Picture updates on our walks? Trust me, there will be lots! Wanna see your pet in real time? Put an AirTag on their collar and you can watch us walk! Whatever you need! Not only are the walks important for your dog’s health, but it helps them socialize by getting out of the home. It’s also great for the case of the zoomies! At the moment I am not working. I just graduated with my bachelor’s degree, but I have not started working anywhere in particular just yet. We are a military family (and I am a Navy vet myself) so we aren’t sure if we are moving sooner than I can finish another degree or not. So everything is up in the air, but I’d love to do help out by doing some dog walks in the mean time! At the moment, I do not offer house sitting or drop in visits for pets. For now, I am just offering dog walks. Trust and safety are extremely important to me, though, so however you need me to stay in contact with you that will put your mind at ease while caring for your pet(s) is exactly what we will do!

I travel full time so wherever I’m at, my schedule can be very flexible to allow for the best routine for your pets! I am available for overnight sits, daytime care, walks, drop-ins and adventure walks. Since I travel full time, pet care will need to be done in the clients home. I have many references from others I’ve sat for stating that I’m respectful of your home, taking care of your belongings and your animals, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I specialize in drop ins and long, enriching walks tailored to your dog’s unique energy level and needs. I’ve been caring for animals since I was 13, starting with regular drop in care for a neighbor’s golden retriever while they were out of town. I grew up with an active pointer, which gave me a strong appreciation for high energy dogs that thrive on long walks, exploration, and mental stimulation. Whether your dog needs a multi mile walk or hike to burn energy, a structured walk with training reinforcement, or a slow sniff filled stroll at their own pace. I’m happy to meet them where they’re at! I also have hands on experience with small breeds and special needs dogs, including IVDD care. I currently care for a 4 yr old weenie diagnosed with IVDD, so I understand the importance of gentle handling, monitoring movement and strain, & keeping walks safe, calm, and low impact. For pups who enjoy a little extra motivation, I can provide high quality treats (with owner approval, of course). I typically bring air dried, minimally processed options and occasionally natural chews such as dried duck feet or beef tendons for enrichment. In addition to dogs, I’m very comfortable with cats. I currently have a 5 yr old cat, Artemis, and previously cared for a diabetic cat, so I’m confident handling feeding routines, medications, and more attentive care needs. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for like they’re hanging out with someone they already know. I’m available Tuesday - Sunday for most hours of the day, with a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize drop ins and walks around your pet’s routine. Whether your pet needs a morning visit, midday walk, or evening check in, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of times. I especially enjoy longer walks for high energy dogs and can dedicate the time needed for multi mile walks, enrichment, or a slower paced visit depending on your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to showing up consistently for you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I follow all instructions closely and make sure your pet stays in a calm and caring environment. For walks, I pay close attention to surroundings, leash safety, and your dog’s behavior to ensure a safe and positive experience. I’m experienced with both high energy dogs and small or special needs pets, including those who require slower, more gentle handling. I always provide updates and photos so you feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Jalen did a great job walking my big dog that loves to pull on his leash. He gave good daily updates and photos and I had great peace of mind while on my vacation knowing my dog was being well cared for. Will definitely be booking again.”

Otay Ranch dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jalen did a great job! I was a little worried since this was my first time using this type of service. My dogs are trained and do good on walks, as long as the training is used. Jalen asked questions and was engaged with making sure the correct techniques were used. The dogs had a great time, came home ready for a nap!

Marielle has been amazing! We’ve used her a few times to walk our girl Nova and to check in on her in the evening. She has been completely reliable and has been flexible with our times. She sends updates and photos throughout their time together; Nova always looks like she’s having the best time! Would 10/10 recommend!

Rachel has been our regular dog walker for a while now, and we couldn’t be happier. She walks our dog 1–2 times a week and is always reliable, communicative, and clearly loves what she does. The best part is how excited our dog gets when she shows up—it’s obvious they have a great bond. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our dog is in such good hands. Highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!
