About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and ages. My journey in pet care has been both professional and deeply personal. I spent 18 wonderful years with my cat, Figaro, whom I hand-raised from just one week old, and 12 years with my beloved Maltese/Yorkie mix. DISCLAIMER: As a Licensed RVT, I offer high-level pet sitting for families who need a professional touch. Please note: My services through Rover are strictly for supportive, non-medical care. While I am highly skilled in medication administration and emergency stabilization, I only perform these tasks under the direction of the owner and the protocol of their primary veterinarian. I do not provide independent medical diagnosis or treatment. I bring an experienced eye for detail to every visit. While I am not at your home to diagnose or treat, my background makes me an expert at observing subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort. I am exceptionally comfortable following your veterinarian’s exact medication schedules and ensuring your pet’s specific routine is maintained to a T. I love creating a cozy 'safety bubble' where your pets can truly thrive! Trust is built on a foundation of love and consistency, so I make sure to move at your pet’s unique pace to ensure they feel confident and secure. Whether it’s scanning our path on walks or double-checking that their indoor environment is secure, hazard-free, and calm, I’m always looking out for their well-being. My goal is to be a familiar, joyful presence that keeps their tail wagging and your heart at ease! ❤️🐾

About: Ever since I was young, I’ve loved caring for animals especially dogs. Spending time with them has always come naturally to me. Today, I volunteer at the Bonita Animal Shelter, where I take dogs out for walks, play with them, and give them some extra attention during the day. It’s something I truly enjoy, and it’s incredibly rewarding to spend time with each dog and help brighten their day. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pet. I’m available for drop-ins and walks on weekday afternoons and weekends, and I always make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I enjoy going on walks and often bring my own dog along with me. She’s very friendly and loves the company of other dogs, so your pup will have a fun walking buddy too!
About: Hello🤗! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a little girl. I’ve honestly always had some type of dog in my life. My first dog was a schnauzer, and I cared for her all the way into her senior years, so I’m comfortable with both playful pups and older dogs who need extra patience and attentiveness. During COVID, our lab had a litter of six puppies, so I have hands on experience with puppy care, feeding schedules, and managing lots of energy in the cutest way possible. I’ve also been around cats for many years. Before I moved away, my family rescued a Siamese kitten who still needed milk from her mother. We actually found her in a tennis court, and helping care for her from such a young age taught me how attentive, patient, and gentle you have to be with cats. Since then, I’ve become very comfortable understanding different cat personalities I’ve come across, from shy and cautious to playful and affectionate. Recently, a friend trusted me to stay in their home and care for their dog for a week and a half, and that experience made me realize how much I genuinely enjoy this. It did not feel like a job. It felt natural and fulfilling. That is when I decided to take pet sitting more seriously. I am also very active and love going on morning runs, so high energy dogs are more than welcome. I enjoy structured walks, playtime, and making sure every pup gets the physical and mental stimulation they need. I am located in a very dog friendly neighborhood with wide sidewalks, grassy areas, designated walking paths, and convenient potty stations. It is a safe and spacious environment for structured walks and comfortable exploration. Above all, I am attentive, reliable, and big on communication. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and cared for while keeping you fully at ease. I currently have a flexible schedule and can dedicate time to caring for your pets throughout the day. I make sure feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins fit naturally into my routine so your pet receives consistent care and attention. I’m reliable with schedules and always prioritize your pet’s comfort and routine while you’re away. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. I pay attention to pets’ behavior and needs to make sure they feel secure and relaxed. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I maintain a calm and clean environment where pets can feel safe and cared for.

I’m located in the Chula Vista area and I am comfortable with animals big or small. I am also comfortable with any task including medication administration, medical supervision, walks, runs, interaction time, and CPR if needed. My love for animals goes beyond the veterinary clinic - every dog and cat is treated like family. I usually spend all my free time with my family. Being human mom and dog mom requires a lot of attention and lots of time! Caring for our pets has always been a top priority in our home fur babies are treated like any human baby. About: Caring for animals is just about one of the best things in this world. My family and I have two of our own and they’re both the bestest doggies in the world, but I am bias😉. We first got our girl Queenie from a family friend who passed on and had no family that she could go to. We couldn’t bear the thought of her going to animal control/shelter life so we took her home. She’s full of personality and spirit and has the ability to bring joy to anyone she meets. Then we started fostering our girl Dorothy! She was rescued by Make A Difference Rescue in Michigan from the chains of a backyard home in Detroit that was raided by police there to serve a warrant. She and two other dogs in the backyard were saved and named after the Golden Girl’s T.V. Show. Thus, we got our girl Dorothy that we call Dory or Squeaker (the sounds she makes in the morning). She has the BEST smile and the cutest little trot in the world. She gets along with everyone and every dog. So that’s my story! I love my two girls to death and ever since they’ve joined our family I’ve been involved with some rescue or shelter in some way or another. I understand that trusting a perfect stranger with your beloved pets is a very difficult thing to do. I am here to help out when needed by providing peace of mind in any way that you like. Picture updates on our walks? Trust me, there will be lots! Wanna see your pet in real time? Put an AirTag on their collar and you can watch us walk! Whatever you need! Not only are the walks important for your dog’s health, but it helps them socialize by getting out of the home. It’s also great for the case of the zoomies! At the moment I am not working. I just graduated with my bachelor’s degree, but I have not started working anywhere in particular just yet. We are a military family (and I am a Navy vet myself) so we aren’t sure if we are moving sooner than I can finish another degree or not. So everything is up in the air, but I’d love to do help out by doing some dog walks in the mean time! At the moment, I do not offer house sitting or drop in visits for pets. For now, I am just offering dog walks. Trust and safety are extremely important to me, though, so however you need me to stay in contact with you that will put your mind at ease while caring for your pet(s) is exactly what we will do!
Estlake Greens dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rachel has been our regular dog walker for a while now, and we couldn’t be happier. She walks our dog 1–2 times a week and is always reliable, communicative, and clearly loves what she does. The best part is how excited our dog gets when she shows up—it’s obvious they have a great bond. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our dog is in such good hands. Highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!
