I had a beautiful 13 year old pug, who I was the main caregiver for, who passed away in 2021 due to cancer. About: I grew up with my own pets and have always loved animals. One of my favorite things about them is that no two pets are ever the same. Every animal has their own personality and their own way of showing you what they need. I began working with animals in 2020 as a kennel technician. I cared for pets while they were boarding and made sure they were fed, comfortable and clean while still feeling loved away from home. I later gained experience assisting veterinary technicians and caring for pets in a veterinary hospital. I helped with routine appointments, medications and emergencies. I also worked in veterinary reception and became familiar with many different aspects of pet care. I love caring for all kinds of animals. That includes energetic dogs and puppies who love to explore as well as pets who would rather relax at home and spend time with a companion. I also have a special place in my heart for senior pets. Over the years we have learned how to adapt to his needs and help him confidently get around. He has taught me so much about patience, understanding and how much joy our pets can bring to our lives at every age. I know how much your pets mean to you because I feel the same way about my own. I treat every pet I care for like they are my own. I want you to feel confident knowing they are receiving the same love, patience and attention I would want for my pets. I would love the opportunity to get to know your companion and care for them just as you would while you are away. 🐾 I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide your pets with care, attention and walks around their usual routines. I can also provide consistent play breaks and plenty of attention throughout the day. On weekends especially, I love being active and exploring new parks and places. I believe pets thrive when they have a consistent routine, a clean environment, and lots of love and attention. At home, I make it a habit to check my pets' food and water every day, clean their bowls regularly, keep their litter box fresh, and maintain a clean water fountain with routine filter changes. I also make sure my senior dog has fresh food and water, a clean feeding area, and that everyone is happy, healthy, and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible because I know consistency helps pets feel safe while their family is away. I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of attention, exercise or playtime, and a clean space. I'll also keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or anything that seems unusual and communicate with you right away if needed. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own, and I'm happy to provide photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
