“Eylana was very responsive and reliable. She watched our dog Lily at our house for the weekend, when we ended up staying out of town longer than anticipated, she was flexible and cared for Lily another night. Didn’t have to worry at all, she sent pics and updates all weekend.”

“Jalen did a good job staying with my dog over the winter holidays. He gave her her anti-seizure meds twice a day, walked her, and sent regular updates. Having an older dog who needs medications, what I cared about the most is her safety, and I felt comfortable leaving her with Jalen.”

About: Hello! I am currently a mom to four cats. In the past I have had cats, dogs, rats, and hamsters in my family. I love all animals and I would love to spend time with yours! I am full time employed with the federal government and love doing this as a fun side job! I work full time from home so I have the flexibility to get out for walks during the day. I love stepping away to spend time with the fur babies! I have a fenced yard and do not leave animals outside all day/night. I love getting out for walks/runs and taking furry companions with me! I will make sure your fur babies receive lots of love and attention while you are away.
About: I grew up with a Newfoundland (which is a lot of dog), and sat for many of my friends and neighbors. I absolutely love all dogs, sometimes more than people. I work part time, often remotely, so I am very flexible to your needs. I am available everyday and can be flexible with any time preferences. I am available for any housekeeping you require. I will treat it like my own home, as I am very clean and tidy with the space I live in.
“Mia was attentive, responsible, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She followed all instructions perfectly and sent regular updates (including adorable photos).”

About: I have loved all kinds of animals (especially furry ones) as long as I can remember! Growing up, I could always be found with a cat on my lap or petting someone else’s. I believe when we bring a pet into our life— they become a family member and deserve to be treated with the best care possible, especially because they bring us so much joy and have only us for their lifetime. I will provide your furry one with just as much love as I’d give my own pet, be attentive to their unique needs and personality, and make sure they feel safe and happy so you can be sure they are the best of care when you can’t be there. Currently, I’m available as needed- morning, noon, or night! Whatever your need is, please feel free to reach out to me and if I am available, I will be happy to be of service for your furry friend! At this time, I am only able to care for your pet in your home. I will be sure to follow your instructions to a T. If I see they are nervous or anxious, I will give them the space they need while making sure they know that I am a friendly soul open to whatever they may need.
“Sylvia did an excellent job taking care of my senior dog! She kept me updated with pictures and texts. She left my home in beautiful condition. Would highly recommend.”

“She was wonderful! Very communicative with updates and pictures. Dogs were clearly well taken care of and happy! She even left everything very clean and left us a sweet note. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 10 years. I’m fluent in woof! I respect home guidelines & pet routine structures. Experienced with short or long walks, cuddles, playtime, medication schedules, petting, brushing (coat and teeth), bathing, cleaning paws after walks, I feed them what you provide or become your pets fav chef. I’m welcome to pets sleeping with me or without me. Attentive and aware of behaviors signaling illness or sadness. I can communicate with you regularly or when necessary. I follow potty schedules or watch your pet for routine signals. If I’m sitting more than one dog, I do like to take notes to make sure everyone is on schedule. I am very flexible. I am currently studying for the Real Estate exam. I moved to San Diego from Chicago to pursue my dream. Filling any daily free time with a furry (or bald) buddy would be wonderful. I do daily morning and evening guided meditations. I do enjoy meditation audio-waves throughout the day. I listen while I study or simply doing tasks around the house. If your pet wouldn’t mind joining me on my journey, I would love to play my soothing sounds on my speaker for us to enjoy. I will be with your pet at all times while I’m home (unless told otherwise) If you have a fenced yard, I can let them roam alone or I can join them to play with them or study while they sun bathe. I always lock all doors. If I had to step away to run errands I will make sure doors are secured, set alarms, etc. I would never leave your pet if I know it would interfere with their schedule. House sitting rules for myself: clean up after myself and your pet. I’m not a house keeper, but I do like to keep things clean for my own comfort. You can call me at any time during my stay and I will answer. I send pictures and pet butler task updates if you prefer.

“I booked last minute and she was quick to reply, friendly and came promptly for meet and greet. I immediate felt comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she stayed with my dogs the whole time, which is what I really wanted, to feel my dogs were completely loved. Thank you is not enough.”

“I’ve never used a dog sitter ever in my life but I’m so grateful that Emma was the first person to have filled that role. She is incredible. Sending me updates and pictures of my beagle to sweeping up the floor before she left. I was at ease knowing she was there for my dog. I would 100% book her again”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 10 years old. I’ve had a total of 3 cats since growing up in Los Angeles. I’ve helped many of my friends with pet sitting their cats overnight in my home or at theirs. I had my first dog (160 pound St Bernard) about 2 years ago. I adopted him since he was 6 months old until he turned almost 2. Now I have a 5 month old German shepherd and no cats. I am currently working part time and am available during the week and weekend when I’m off. I’m also available early morning or late at night if needed. I have a small fenced yard with plenty of room to play. I have many dog toys but can use yours if you prefer. I make sure I keep dogs inside when it is raining or if it gets too hot. Especially avoiding any mosquito bites so please let me know if your dog is on a flea and tick prevention.
“Alexis was amazing with our 2 dogs. She took great care of them both while we were away for the weekend. We really appreciated all of the communication and pictures from her. Thank you again!”

Eylana took care of 4 dogs in 1 booking and took on the challenge better than a pro! She made sure our “kids” all had their food, pets and walks, but took on the additional needs of the two elderly dogs messy accidents. I would rebook Eylana every time and know my babies are in great hands always. Thank you for going above and beyond!

This was our first experience using Rover and the first time having a dog sitter that wasn't a family member or close friend. And it was seriously the best experience! Emma loved on our fur babies like they were her own. She walked them once or twice a day for 30 min, took pics of them on walks, brushed them multiple times all of her own accord. She sent many pictures and videos of the dogs for my peace of mind and kept us fully updated on everything. I never had to check in or wonder about them at all! She stayed in our house with them, and when we returned, I could barely tell anybody had been here all weekend! We will 100% be using her in the future for our dog sitting needs!
