“Kelsey did a great job looking after my Bobcat while I was out of town for several weeks. She kept me informed with alot of photos and updates. I will definitely hire her again next time I leave town! Thanks again Kelsey!”

“Lynnette was absolutely amazing. Sent updates with pictures and videos for each drop in visit, and was very easy to get in contact with. She followed all of the instructions I left perfectly! Not to mention that my elderly dog and young cat warmed up to her immediately. I was worried about leaving my animals for an extended period of time due to my dog having separation anxiety and my cat being shy with new people, but both of them loved spending time with Lynnette. I would recommend Lynnette to anybody in the area that is new or old to Rover.”

About: Hi! I’ve lived with animals my whole life - mostly dogs (poodles!) - and I have two cats of my own who I absolutely adore. I recently moved to Ojai, CA to be closer to nature and embrace a lifestyle centered around wellness, animals, and the outdoors. I've decided to open my Rover sitting profile again (last time I was available on Rover I was in college), as I have had a few experiences sitting pets for friends and the community and I've realized how much I love it! My main gig is working as a marketing consultant remotely, so this lifestyle allows me the space and control over my time to be able to give your pets the attention and care they need daily. I also teach yoga and live a grounded lifestyle that pets tend to vibe with! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes as well as senior dogs and those who require oral medication. I'm also a major cat lover - most cats warm up to me quickly, and I enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I approach all animals with gentle loving kindness, making sure they feel seen as I speak to them and give them the attention they deserve. Animals are so special and I feel I can speak their language naturally. Whether we're going on walks through beautiful Ojai, playing in the yard, or just relaxing and providing gentle companionship, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. You'll receive plenty of photos and updates, and your furry friend will receive all the pets and love they deserve. My job is working from home about 20-30 hours per week, so as long as you have wifi, I can be around to give lots of love and attention to your furry friend throughout the day. I have plenty of time and space to take breaks for walks, play and outdoor time. Whenever I am present in your home, I will keep my eyes on your pet. I will gently and lovingly communicate with them to make them feel safe in my presence. I will be attentive to their body language and won't overstimulate them with too many pets (if that's not their thing) - if that is their thing I will quickly pick up on it and be sure to give your pet lots of pets and love.

About: I have a good amount of dog experience as well, I am comfortable with all ages of dogs and can tailor my services to those of your pup. Right now I have an open schedule so I am available for any kind of hours or services needed from clients. I will be starting school again but not until the end of September. When working in other homes I maintain a professional mindset, and really just try to focus on the animals. I am responsible when it comes to feedings, cleanings, walks, and play times as these are all important aspects when pet sitting.

“Joslyn provided great care for our 2 cats, Opal and Topaz, while we had to go out of town short notice. Her calm and gentle demeanor gave us peace of mind that our babies would be lovingly cared for. She provided pictures and detailed updates each visit. When we came home, our kitties were content and very relaxed! A relief for an anxious cat mom like me, lol. Would absolutely consider Joslyn again for future cat care and highly recommend her services. Thank you Joslyn! ☺️”

“Sidney is a wonderful pet sitter! She watched our beloved cat while we had to travel for an extended period of time. Sidney went above and beyond to provide amazing care for our cat. She is excellent at communicating, spent a lot of time playing with our cat, preparing delicious meals for her, cleaning the cat food and litter box, vacuuming, and also helping with household things such as bringing in the mail. Outstanding! Sidney is incredible and I highly recommend her!”

“Taryn was the first pet sitter I had in Los Angeles. I had a kitten that needed care while I went away for an extended period of time. She always took photos of my kitten and kept me updated along the way. Would highly recommend”

About: Hi, I'm Emily! I have a senior dog and a puppy so I can relate to many of you out there! I will care for your dog just as I care for my own, with extreme care and lots of love! Currently I work a flexible schedule that allows me flexibility for dog walking/drop ins. Usually I can create time in my schedule based on your dog's needs. As a trusted sitter, I am careful to follow any instructions you have for your dogs needs and the care of your home as well.

About: Hello! We're dog-lovers plain and simple. Life is better with pets and we just love being around furry friends. Having dogs around the property is a real pleasure for our family :) We work from home with a very flexible schedule. We have a big fenced front yard and an even bigger fenced backyard that doggies love. During the day we usually leave the back door open so the doggies are free to roam inside and outside as they please. Next to our property is a large private forest that makes for a great place for dog walks. And during the warmer months, if your doggie is a swimmer we're happy to walk them down to the Ventura river which is a quick stroll from our house. We have a big fenced backyard and front yard on 1/4 of an acre. We have 3 little kids and often several dogs boarding at a time so we can only accept dogs that are totally non-aggressive with little kids and non-aggressive with other dogs.

“My dog can be a bit leery of new people but she trusted Kalia right away. Kalia was super professional, kind, on time and even sent me a photo during their walk. I will be booking again!”

“Shannon did a wonderful job of looking after Charlie. She was on time, took time with him and kept in contact with me. I felt very secure in her ability to take care of him and have booked her for a 13-day job this June. Highly recommend.”

About: I have a border collie/ Aussie who is 5, and have been taking care of my friends and families dogs forever. Dog training and safety are my top priority as a dog mom. I work from home, which gives me plenty of time to visit, walk, and play with dogs. My schedule is flexible and I can work around other owners schedules. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog who loves to go on walks and have sleepovers with other dogs. She loves to play tug of war and take naps.

About: Experienced, trained, and educated in wildlife biology, I have loved animals dearly and yearned to care for them all my life. Ive had many dogs throughout my life, rescuing them and giving them a loving home, and now have a sweet kitten named Tangerine. I’ve worked with both wild animals and many folk’s best friends. I have cared for fury friends of all kinds in many settings and in many places. I now have years of experience and many happy and returning clients. I love animals! I am an artist and designer, and my work is flexible and can often travel with me. I have developed the perfect flow, so that I can be with our fury friends when they need me, while also getting my work accomplished. I have stayed in many homes to care for pets. I find it makes the animals most comfortable to be home where they have their routine and their own familiar territory. I want them to be as safe, happy, and comfortable as possible, while their parents are away.

My name is Mollie, and I want to help take care of your pet :) I work at the Humane Society in Ojai, California in the Fundraising Department as the shelter's Development Manager and spend lots of time with dogs and cats. My work schedule is flexible, as I mostly work to plan events, fundraisers and more. Happy to stop by for a check-in, dog walk, or plan an overnight! I am very attentive to whatever type of pet I'm working with. I recognize that dogs have their own personalities just like us! All dogs are different, and I think by recognizing exactly what type of care each unique pup needs is most important.

Charlie was comfortable and friendly with her from the second she walked in, she's a natural pet lover! She was amazing to work with, very responsive and caring around my dog. She checked in with me frequently and made me feel like my dog was in great hands. I will definitely book with her again!”

Emily C.
“I have known Emily for years and couldn't think of anyone I would like to recommend more as a dog caregiver! She has had dogs her entire life, even going out of her way to rescue dogs in college and bring them into her loving home. She helps her dogs stay active through walks, runs, and play time. Emily has a keen sense for when dogs may need a more gentle approach, particularly when meeting my nervous rescue dog for the first time. Emily took her time to get to know him and by the end of the day, they were the best of friends! I wholeheartedly recommend Emily as a responsible, loving dog caregiver. You will be so glad you gave her a call!”

Cooper & Nora R.
“It is with great pleasure to endorse, and share the loving care that Cooper & Nora give heir pet guests at home, like family, with all the attention they deserve. It is an easy and confortable choice once you meet them, at their compound, and with so much land around to go and roam around on walks that fully charged with nature, as our loved ones like so much. It is actually a kind of going away on holiday for them, a getaway from the normal daily routines at home, specially city ones! Javier K.”

Kalia W.

“My dog can be a bit leery of new people but she trusted Kalia right away. Kalia was super professional, kind, on time and even sent me a photo during their walk. I will be booking again!”

Brittany G.
“Brittany is a great pet owner and animal lover. She connects with every type of animal she comes across and is an amazing dog mom.”

Emily H.
“I have entrusted my dogs with Emily for the past 6 years. She treats them as her own, and I never have to stress if they are under her care. I am able to go out of town without worry for their welfare. They probably have more fun with her than they do with me! In fact, I think they might be secretly disappointed when I finally return! I would highly recommend Emily to anyone in need of a caregiver for their pets.”

Chelsey C.

“Chelsey was great! She responded really quickly, worked with us to figure out a good schedule, and (most importantly) took great care of our pets. I'd absolutely recommend working with her, and I'm sure we'll contact her again in the future, too. Thanks, Chelsey!”

Gregory G.
“I think my dad would be perfect for Rover! He’s watched so many pets, including our old dog Shadow and his friends' dogs like pit bulls and German Shepherds. He’s really good with them and always takes his time on dog walks. He’s super professional too because he used to have an aggressive pit bull. Dogs just love him, and he really enjoys dog watching. Plus, we have a big backyard for the dogs to play in. I think he would be an awesome addition to Rover!”

Lauren W.

“Lauren is great! We will definitely be hiring her in the future”

Cassandra T.

“Cassandra is a wonderful sitter! She sent me lots of pictures and really cared for my 2 kitties and my home. I always have a hard time leaving them but felt really relaxed leaving them with her. I would love to have her back anytime!”

Mollie G.
“I have seen the way Mollie takes care of her own dog. Dana is her priority. She makes sure she is walked well before her day at work as well as when she gets home. I'm not talking about to the end of the block and back so she can go to the bathroom. She takes her hiking, and anywhere else allowable. Dana was a rescue and couldn't have ended up with a better dog mama. They are best friends. Their relationship has changed them both for the better. If I still had a dog, I would trust her implicitly. Sincerely, Diane K”
