“Katie did a great job with her drop-ins with my cats! It’s was so great seeing pictures while I was away! And both of them were much happier than when I’ve just had a friend drop by once during vacation. I think her presence and interaction made them feel like I didn’t abandon them! About: I have been boarding pets and dog sitting for family and friends for over twenty years. We are all pet lovers here, so our home was quite literally designed with pets in mind. I have a big fenced in backyard, tons of dog and cat toys and tennis balls, and of course washable couch cushions and rugs everywhere because we know accidents happen 😂 My golden loves all dogs, and there’s nothing my kids like better than coming home to see a different pup or cat here. I previously worked at and volunteered at several shelters, and now just work remotely part time from home, after resigning as a Claims Specialist for the Social Security Administration HQ here in KCMO. I can administer medication, and my speciality is elderly dogs that need extra attention and/or dogs that don’t do well in typical boarding situation due to anxiety and/or destructive behaviors because here, they can have as much attention as they do (or don’t!) want. Neutering also is not as issue as mine all are. I currently work from home 20 hours a week medical billing and coding, my schedule is flexible and my children are both in daycare/elementary school and gone from approx 8-4. I have a fenced in large yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I walk dogs I watch/my dogs 1-2 times a day and let out any elderly dogs I am currently watching through the front door to avoid the deck steps. I feed my dogs twice a day, they drink filtered water and get denta sticks each day. I always bring dog treats on walks so reinforce good behavior. We consider our pets people here, so getting on furniture is allowed as well.

“Ashley was great with our babies. I was so nervous to use this service for the first time, but her communication and photos made it easy.”

“My boys immediately liked Desri at the meet and greet and I felt comfortable right off the bat with her as well! She is very warm and welcoming, not to mention great with my dogs. She sent pictures and videos of my dogs playing and having fun running around the yard. Can’t wait to have her care for my fur babies again!”

“Quinn did an awesome job watching my 2 labs. I would definitely use her again. She even brought them treats a few days after watching them. You couldn't find anyone better.”

About: I have taken care of animals by volunteering at the Kansas City pet project as well as fostering animals. I love being around animals and making sure they are well taken care of. I am taking two summer classes, Tuesday and Thursdays 9:15 am- 11:15 am. Other than that, I am available all days other than the dates marked off on the calendar. I care for pets by making sure they are let out when they need to be, making sure they are fed, and by giving them plenty of love!

About: Hi there! I’m Citara – a single mom with a big heart for animals! I know how important it is to have someone you trust with your furry family members. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cozy visits with your cat, I treat every pet like my own. Reliable, caring, and flexible – I’m here when you need me. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I have flexible availability, especially during evenings and weekends. I currently work during the day part of the week, but I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for pet sitting or walking. I love being around animals, so spending time caring for pets is something I truly enjoy and make time for. It’s not just a side job—it’s something that brings me peace and purpose. I provide pet care in the comfort of the client’s home because I believe pets feel most safe and relaxed in their own environment. I follow all routines and instructions carefully—from feeding and walks to playtime and medications—so your pet’s day stays as normal as possible. I treat every home with respect and every pet with patience, love, and attention. Safety and trust are my top priorities, and I always make sure your pet is secure, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

“Will definitely ask to schedule care with you again! Thank you for taking care of my babies for me!”

About: I have had dogs throughout my life. I love dogs. I like to play and walk with them. They are really humans’ best friends! My dog, Hachi is a cairn terrier. We would love to meet some new furry friends! I’m currently working from home four days a week so I’ll be able to care for your pups, go on walks and give them all the attention! About: Residing on a farm with open running space or enclosed electrical fencing for outside time, animals are sure to love their farm life experience. My husband and I have trained our own dogs to respond to basic commands: sit, shake, stay, come, and no. We have around 600 birds (chickens, guineas, ducks), 10 goats, and 2 Great Pyrenees girls (unaltered) that predominately reside outside. We also have 5 cats that are indoor outdoor and every other week our 16 and 10 y.o. boys are here to provide extra attention to animals visiting. We have also cared for animals at the end of life phase, moving at a slower pace and needing that extra assistance to get around. I currently work an 8 hour shift commuting to STL Monday-Friday. I work for the MO Army National Guard full-time, to include one weekend a month. My Husband’s full time job is taking care of the farm. He is predominately on farm, or not too far out if he is away. Caring for additional animals will fit like a glove into the animal schedule we currently operate on any given day. Caring for our own pets consist of daily feedings. There is always dry food out for all animals. The dogs and cats get wet food once a day, typically in the evening. The cats get attention when they want it. The dogs get released out of the fence a couple times a week to run the land under human supervision. They will also be let inside for short periods of time as we work on training them with inside manners, not to mention, one of the girls is terrified of thunder storms. Our animals are pampered with treats, attention, and full on conversations. They are more than animals around here, they’re family!

“Draven was fantastic with our Goldendoodle during her drop-in visits. Her communication was on point, and she even noticed that we had accidentally locked our cat in the bedroom. Thankfully, she let him out and made sure everything was okay. We’re so grateful for the care she gave our sweet boy. Highly recommend Draven to anyone needing drop-in care for their pets!”

“Emma has cared for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens most of her life. We have been a foster family for Kansas City Pet Project for the last 11 years. Emma is always willing to jump in and assist, including bottle feeding underage puppies as well as helping to clean up after them. Emma has had numerous house sitting opportunities and she is passionate about, and enjoys, caring for animals and putting their owners at ease. She is trustworthy, reliable, kind, sensitive, and giving. She is a college student trying to do something meaningful for others while also enjoyable to her, while giving her some financial means to help support herself. I know she would appreciate those willing to give her an opportunity to prove her dedication and responsibility to you, your family, and your pets! I have seen her work in our home over the years, and with our own pets; she makes a strong connection with them. I highly recommend Emma!!”

There is no doubt of the care she gives to animals always wanting to reward them with love. Sometimes I think she prefers animals over people. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants the best for their pet!”
