About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old, including family pet care, professional pet care and personal pet care. I am experienced in dog walking, dog boarding, in home pet sitting and diabetic pets/sick pets. I have reliable transportation and am available at all times to give your pet the care they need! I am committed to being available at all times including weekends and evenings. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so it doesn’t feel like a task, it’s something I intentionally build into my schedule to make sure pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I care for pets as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their individual routines, personalities, and needs, whether they’re in my home or a client’s home. This includes making sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of affection and attention. I love animals, so I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, playing, going for walks, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also keep a close eye on their behavior and health, and I follow any specific instructions the owner provides to ensure their pet feels happy and well cared for while they’re away. As a diabetic dog owner myself I am committed to giving your pet the best care I can!
“Katie is our go-to cat caregiver. She is very reliable, flexible, caring and friendly. She gives our diabetic cat his meds twice daily, and takes time to play with and pet our cats. Highly recommended in every way.”

“We’re so grateful to have found Tiffany to care for Hank while we were away. She’s an excellent communicator, and we truly appreciated the detailed updates and photos she sent throughout our trip. Hank looked happy and well cared for in every picture, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. We will absolutely be booking with Tiffany again and can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“I would definitely recommend Anthony. This was my first pet sitter experience and it was definitely a positive one. I will definitely utilize his services again.”

About: I have had dogs throughout my life. I love dogs, and they are truly humans’ best friends! My husband and I have a cairn terrier named Hachi and a cavapoo named Matcha, and we would love to meet some furry friends! I love to take a walk after work and I would take your pup with! Our house also has a fenced in yard so your pup can run and burn some energy that way as well. I always keep my door locked and when I’m out with your pup I’ll make sure they are leashed at all time and make sure other dogs are friendly before letting them interact with your pup.
“Took great care of our boys while we were gone. They all got play time and attention. Had no worries or issues with anything from feeding needs to boxes. Will be having her stop in again the next trip we take for sure!”

“Mya was fantastic. She stepped in at the drop of a hat to help us out after our previous sitter had gone MIA while we were out of town. Her communication was FANTASTIC - she was prompt, attentive, left detailed notes of her visits and sent so many photos! We were so grateful to her for not only her great care of our two pups, but also the level of responsiveness and care that we received from her. If we ever go out of town again, I will certainly contact Mya and would recommend her to anyone!!”

“Ashley was so great, very communicative, sent the cutest photos of our pups and made sure they were well fed and taken care of. She went above and beyond to help us out with our dogs over the weekend!”

“Kathleen was great with my 4 year old, high energy, Boston Terrier. Was very responsive and made it so I did not have to stress if my pup was going to be well taken care of. Would recommend to anyone in the area!”

“Gabrielle went above and beyond to make sure that my three cats were happy and comfortable while I was gone. I will definitely call on her again to care for my furry family.”

About: Pets have been a part of my life my whole life. I've owned everything from dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and ferrets. In high school I spent all my extra time volunteering at Kansas City Ferret Rescue. We even ran some of the shelter out of our house for a while. Currently I own 2 pit bulls and boy do I love my bully breeds. I have Marvel who is 11 and hes my gentle giant. We adopted his mother and had her her whole life and kept him from a litter of puppies she had. We've been together since birth. I also have Alice and she is getting ready to turn 5, we adopted her at 8 weeks old from a neighbor. She's super energetic. I have LOTS of training in taking care of puppies. About: I've been pet sitting for about three years now and animals are my whole life. I love big dogs and grew up constantly around Great Danes and Mastiffs. I've also raised three puppies over the years and been involved in basic care, walking, playing, and potty training. I'm getting certified in dog grooming starting in August, so I'm available for a large amount of time over the summer! Currently, I'm looking to pet sit full time! I am available on almost any day of the week (and weekend!) and can come at any time needed during this summer. I will always make sure your fur babies are fed, have water at all times, get any specific meds (if needed), are played with as much as possible, and are plenty loved! I will treat your animals as if they were my own, making sure they are consistently happy and healthy. I also strive to make your return back home as stress-free as possible and often vacuum, wipe down surfaces, and tidy up before leaving!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
