About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old, including family pet care, professional pet care and personal pet care. I am experienced in dog walking, dog boarding, in home pet sitting and diabetic pets/sick pets. I have reliable transportation and am available at all times to give your pet the care they need! I am committed to being available at all times including weekends and evenings. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so it doesn’t feel like a task, it’s something I intentionally build into my schedule to make sure pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. About: I have loved dogs since I was a child. As a pre-teen, I used to go to my neighbors' homes to take their dogs for walks. Then, in 1993, my parents finally gave me my first dog—a black English Cocker Spaniel. I haven't been without dogs since. The first one was stolen when he was a year old. The second, another black Cocker, lived for 14 years. During that time, I also had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived to be 17. Currently, I have a 12-year-old female Papillon who came with me from Brazil a little over two years ago. I am Brazilian and qualified as a veterinarian in 2003. I spent six years working in a clinic treating dogs before switching to a different area of veterinary practice for personal reasons. Since moving to the US, I have been a full-time mom, as my youngest daughter is not yet school-age. I believe a meet-and-greet is beneficial for both parties; it’s a time for pets and their owners to get to know me better, and for me to get to know the pet (I like to fill out a form during this time to record details about them). I understand that just like us, dogs need regular walks to stay happy, healthy and mentally stimulated. If life gets busy and you're unable to take your pup out as often as you'd like, I'd be happy to help. I also offer loving in-home care for pets who prefer to stay cozy and comfortable in their own home while you're away. Services offered: dog walker, boarding, drop-in visits and doggy day care. I offer other pet services upon request. I am currently a full-time mother and homemaker, so I do not have a job that keeps me away from home for long stretches at a time. I have a friendly 12-year-old female dog, but she doesn't know how to play with other dogs; she’s a companion for quiet moments rather than playtime. I have three children—aged 4, 6, and 9—who adore dogs and love playing with them. I live in a house without a fenced yard. The raised deck has a gate and is a spot where my dog likes to hang out and watch the activity. About: I grew up with three dogs and trained them to do the basics. I love animals of all sizes, not just dogs. I don’t have much experience with other animals but would love to learn and be as much help as possible! I currently work a full time job however my hours have been cut to part time hours so my availability is pretty open. Unfortunately my job is not a set 9-5 Mon. through Fri. There is a mid sized dog park at my apartment complex however I cannot bring my animal inside my apartment. I can definitely travel to your home and take care of your animal is one long stay or visits. And I also love taking dogs on walks so that is no problem as well.

About: After over 25 years working in education, I took the leap and followed my passion to animal rescue. After volunteering for over 15 years in rescue, I've worked full time in the field. While most of my work is with cats, I do help with dogs as well. I love all cats (even the spicy ones) and have experience distributing meds, nail trims, etc. I also have a flexible schedule and can work with you to meet your floof's needs!! While I work full-time, I do set my own hours for the most part. So I am available to stop in both during the day and evenings. I live in Independence, but travel to Olathe for work and various locations around KC, so I can be flexible on locations as well! About: I love dogs and dogs love me! I worked at Blue Springs Animal Hospital and Pet Resort for a whole year and absolutely loved it! I cared for animals right out of surgery and regulars boarding patients too. I am very qualified to care for your loving pet because I can do anything from making sure his or her medicine is distributed on time to running a mile with your pup. I have experience with it all. At the animal hospital we were required to potty walk the pups in rain or shine so you can guarantee your pup will be potty walked no matter what when they are in my care. I strive in making happy pets because a happy pet is a happy owner! I drop my son off at school at 8ma and pick him up at 11am so I am available between those times in the morning. I am also available after 4pm once my husband gets home to take care of our son. I will monitor your pets to the best of my ability! About: I’ve also had guinea pigs and rabbits and birds and goats. I love all animals and am happy to care for them no matter what shape or size. They all deserve love and attention and as long as I have solid instructions then I got it covered and they’ll feel like they’re my own babies. I’m currently unemployed. About: I have had cats and dogs pretty much all of my life whenever my family is gone. I am the one who babysits and walks them. I can even put diapers on a dog that is going through heat if need be lol! I am working part time, but for the most part I am very flexible and will be ready if you need to reach out to me for any pet sitting or dog walking. I am a life-long animal lover who has been drawing horses since I could hold a crayon, and I've been caring for all kinds of animals since I was a child. We had rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, cats, dogs, and horses at various times while I was growing up, and my childhood dream was to have lots of cats and lots of horses some day. Well I currently have 3 cats and 1 horse, so that's something! Haha. We also have two ducks and are planning to get more shortly. We've had as many as 5 at a time in the past. I've had pets of my own since my college days, and not surprisingly after having so many animals in my life, I ended up getting my degree in Animal Science! I also volunteered at the local Humane Society walking dogs while in college, and cared for pigs, poultry, horses, cows, and more rodents throughout my education. I also worked at a doggy daycare and boarding kennel for a time after college. These days my animal care is mostly directed at my own pets, but you can never have enough animals in your life in my opinion, and so here I am, ready to spoil your fur babies for you if you need! I currently work from home 3 days a week and am lucky enough to have a pretty flexible schedule during those days as well. That means I can take the time now and then to drop in and check on your pets for you if you need some extra help while you're away! Whenever I drop-in on your pets, I will stick to the routines you already have established for them at home to minimize any stress, so your pet will hardly be able to tell you're gone! But I will also definitely take the time to give them plenty of pets and play-time too, if that's something they would love! ^_^

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
