“Blythe was amazing! I booked with her based on her endless positive reviews and was not disappointed. I have a blind senior dog who needs medication and Blythe went above and beyond to make me feel less anxious about leaving her for the first time for a long weekend. She was communicative, patient and kind—I will definitely be booking with her for my next trip.”

“Anna was amazing!! She sent us photos and updates every day and cared for Cleo as if she were her own dog. She was incredibly attentive, super clean, and even left our apartment looking better than when she arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”

“Carolina was amazing and very attentive to our cat’s needs. She provided daily updates and plenty of photos/videos. She took great care of him and will definitely book her in the future!”

“Such great care! Ky was so friendly and kind to my pups. She kept them company, made sure they had lots of love and treats, and communicated frequently on their status. I would absolutely book her again.”

“Heidi was amazing. She was very accommodating in terms of finding a time for a meet and greet. When my son decided he wanted to entertain her and have her attention as I showed her around, she was a great sport. She was super non-judgmental about the state of our house, and put me at ease. She was great with our pets while we were gone, and sent adorable photos. When we got home, I found that she had washed all of the odd dishes we hadn’t had a chance to wash before we left. She also shoveled the walkway! I will absolutely be reaching out to her again, next time we go on vacation.”

“Daniel was a reliable dogsitter at our house. Our dog loved him, as evident with Cali sitting at his feet even when we returned. Daniel did give Cali additional outdoor time, which was a treat. Daniel also went beyond the call to receive the shipment of our new lawnmower and see that it was sheltered in our garage.”

About: Currently work at a dog daycare and boarding facility. I’ve always taken care of family/ friends dogs, I’m confident in basic commands and walking with a well trained dog! I’m currently working part time, so I am pretty available! I don’t have a set schedule for sitting or walking but shoot me a text and I’ll try my best to be there! I always keep my dogs fenced and crated when I can’t have my eyes on the them. Otherwise my cats are free to roam inside!!
“Joe was amazing with our 4 furry toddlers! We've never really went on vacation because of our dogs and fears of boarding our dogs. Joe sent nearly daily updates, some pics and videos of them having a great time without us. He's super responsive to messages and very patient with people and our crazy pack of 4. Thanks again for allowing us to have a worry free 1st vacation!”

“Adrianne was a great pet sitter. She confirmed quickly and set up a meet and greet. My Cavapoo gave her hugs and kisses as soon as she arrived. He likes longer walks and she was awesome to explore nearby trails and parks with him. Adrianne is personable and professional.”

About: Frequent walker that would be happy to have a dog join. I also have a backyard that I maintain all of the time for use. I do not have a dog of my own and typically only watch one dog (or two if you have two) at a time leaving your dogs needs at the priority! I work remote so will always be able to be responsive when sitting. Also have a 700+ day 10,000 step streak so doing lots of walking currently! Handle and escalate and concerns to owner when appropriate and I feel any sorts of hesitations. Thoughtfully, decisively, and neutrally investigate Trust & Safety cases with high complexity and high sensitivity while maintaining customer satisfaction! As a reminder I do not have a fenced in yard so all outside time will be through walks!

“Brianna was super responsive and kind! She was responsive to our dog’s needs and asked appropriate questions about his care. She left our house clean. We would have her sit for us again!”

About: I’ve taken care of French bulldogs since I was 16 years old. I tend bond quickly with animals and have patience with animals that are aggressive or overly anxious. I’ve good with cats and dogs, as well as exotic pets like ferret's. I am currently working a full time job, and am also a college student dispite this I am quite good about time management. I care for my own cat and frequently help out with my sisters dogs that need to be walked and watched. When previously working for her I take the dogs for average of 3 walks one in the morning, then afternoon, then night. When it comes to pet care I will be able to do basically anything needed. If an animals needs to be put in the crate I am easily able to do so. If a pet were to get dirty I am good with cleaning if needed. I am a very determined individual who can cut stubborn animals nails if needed, but I also am good with animals who have issues. As I have experience with owning an aggressive dog myself.
“Patricia was wonderful! She provided updates and pictures of our pup throughout her stay. She was very responsive and kept great care of our dog and home while we were away.”

About: As a kid, I was a go-to dog sitter for several neighborhood dogs while their owners were out of town. I have experience walking, feeding, and letting dogs out when they need. Most importantly, I’m best at giving dogs love, attention and pets! I am a band teacher, so my schedule varies depending on the time of the year. I also have a 35 minute commute to and from work, which affects the hours that can make in-home visits. I return to school on August 25th. My work hours during the school year are 7:30-4:00pm, plus the commute both ways. During the school year, I am only available for overnight stays on the weekends from Friday-Sunday. This might vary depending on different breaks during the school year. I am a warm, patient, and caring person. Whether your pet eagerly greets me when I arrive, or if they need more time to warm up to me, I will be flexible to your pet’s needs.
“Fatima was amazing to work with. I booked her on short notice before the holiday when my original plans fell through. She offered and made it a priority to come do a meet & greet on days notice. I’m always a little nervous when using a new sitter especially when they stay at mine, but my mind was at ease immediately when I met her. I could tell she has a big heart and really cares for animals. She followed all instructions and she went above and beyond spending time with Diesel doing his favorite activities (walks, playing fetch, swimming, etc.). She was incredibly communicative and sent a lot of pictures and videos which was much appreciated. As a former Rover sitter and a frequent user of Rover’s services, I can confidently say that Fatima is one of the best sitters I’ve come across. I will definitely be using her in the future and have already recommended her to others looking for sitters. Thank you Fatima!!!”

About: I have 3 cats & a dog who I treat as if they were my biological children. One of my cats & my dog are medically “blessed,” so I have experience giving meds & sticking to dietary restrictions. They are also anxious creatures, so I’m more than experienced in the world of patience. I foster for a cat rescue who saves stray cats & have experience with getting cats/kittens to trust me. I work full-time but am available weekday evenings for drop-ins & walks. I am available for boarding & house-sitting on weekends or over holidays. My weekends are flexible, so I can also accommodate medication schedules easily With a fenced in yard, dogs can enjoy time outdoors safely. I live in a quiet neighborhood that allows for nice walks. My dog & cats are very laidback. For other dogs, after a proper introduction, my dog loves playing with other dogs & is cat savvy. Since I foster, I also have a separate room where I could keep any cat guests.
“Emma was so sweet with my little senior dog! My dog has various quirks and some chronic health and anxiety isssue and Emma was very accomadating with it all! She was also a great communicator and would check in and ask questions to clarify if she needed anything. I would definetely recommend her to anyonne and would trust her again with my furbabies <3 Thanks so much Emma!”

Elba is wonderful! She just watched my senior dog Fern for the first time while I was on a 5 day trip and I was able to fully relax and not worry as I received daily photos and updates from her. Fern felt so comfortable with her also and got lots of love, attention and walks not to mention receiving all her daily meds on time. I will definitely be using Elba’s services again!

Joe was amazing with our 4 furry toddlers! We've never really went on vacation because of our dogs and fears of boarding our dogs. Joe sent nearly daily updates, some pics and videos of them having a great time without us. He's super responsive to messages and very patient with people and our crazy pack of 4. Thanks again for allowing us to have a worry free 1st vacation!

Blythe was absolutely amazing with Prema! She was true to her word and took care of my pup in every way possible with so much love and attention that I think she was missed even after my return! Blythe was the first Rover I've used where I didn't have to worry about the care of my pup and I appreciated the updates with pics throughout the day. I'd happily use Blythe again for all our vacations going forward!

Wow! Definitely recommend River. She worked with us over the course of a few home visits to get our nervous, anxious dog acclimated to her. Then we had her dog sit in our house for 8 days. They became best of friends. She kept the house in tip-top shape and even left little gifts for my human children. Will definitely have her back!

I had a last minute cancellation frim a friend that was supposed to take care of my dog when I was going on vacation. I found Kelsey on Rover. We set up a meet and greet quickly. She came over and met my dog Bailey. We agreed they were a good fit. She took excellent care of him . She went above and beyond sending me pictures and videos of Bailey. This was the first time I had left him. She made sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend Cassandra & Tyler enough! They have done two in-house sits for me, and they took such incredible care of my dogs both time. Excellent communication, really thoughtful support for a couple of issues that came up and coming back to two very happy boys. These were both longer sits (14 days and 7 days) and the level of communication, professionalism and just care for the boys never dwindled, and that meant the world for me actually getting to enjoy my time away from them. Highly recommend these two if you are in need of help with your furbabies!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Oak Creek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Oak Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Oak Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Oak Creek. On Rover:

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
