At home, your dog can play with my gentle pup Zuri—or I’m happy to keep them separate if needed. Since I work part-time, I have plenty of time to be fully present and give your pet all the love and attention they deserve. About: I will care and love for your dog just as much as you do. I've done occasional dog sitting over the last couple of years, and I always have such a great time with the dogs that I care for. I'm often called a dog whisperer because most dogs just gravitate towards me. I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment so having the opportunity to care for yours would be amazing. I love the pureness, and sincerity of a dog's character. I understand that your pet is family, and I will always treat them as such, their care is of the utmost importance to me. About: I’ve always loved animals- growing up I had both cats and dogs, and currently have a senior cat of my own. I also foster dogs of all breeds, personalities, and needs through a local shelter. I’ve pet-sat both in my home, and in others’ homes, throughout my life, and have experience caring for animals post-op, with semi-complex medical needs, and basic training techniques, using positive reinforcement and praise. With your pets in my care, I can assure you that they will get all the love and attention that they deserve, everything that they need, and from day 1 they will be cared for as if they were my own. I am available for overnight care in your home, drop-in walks/ play-time/ potty breaks, and daycare in your home. Unfortunately, am not available for boarding or daycare in my home. However, I’m more than happy to take your pet on a day-long outing out in nature, or around the city. I am available for recurring walks, drop-ins, house sits, and one-off bookings on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of 48 hours notice ahead of time. My goal is to always fit seamlessly into your and your pet’s life, but due to pre-existing commitments, I can’t accommodate on-demand services. Every pet I take on, I care for as if they are my own. I strive to provide consistent communication about how they’re doing, what activities we engaged in during our time together, and am mindful to tailor my communication to your needs, so frequency of communication that meets your specific needs will be discussed at our meet and greet. Any concerns that I may have about your pet will be communicated promptly.

About: Dog has always been a big part of my life. I have experiences in potty training, dog walking (small and big), and I love teaching them to do tricks! I'm currently free most of my weekdays as I'm still looking for full-time job. I would like to spend time with some furry friends in between my job search schedule. I would mostly do the same routine as the owner would do when they're home. I will feed them based on their schedule, teaching some tricks, and give them some nap time.

About: I have been a pet owner and caretaker of many different animals from small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits) to cats and dogs. My family kept fish when I was a small child, but I plunged headfirst into the world of freshwater fishkeeping in 2020 with my first personal betta fish named Prosciutto. Since then, I’ve cared for many different fish, aquatic snails, shrimp, crabs, and live aquatic plants! Currently, I have 4 fish tanks that provide flourishing ecosystems for all kinds of aquatic beings and a gray and white cat named Ash! I have sat for my neighbors, friends, and other folks that have found me through word of mouth. I would say that my loving personality, attention to detail, reliability, and diverse experience of taking care of all kinds of pets set me apart from other sitters. ***To be transparent, I can be anxious around reptiles, bugs, and arachnids. I do not have much experience taking care of them. :( I’m currently working very part-time and in the process of job searching. My schedule is very flexible. I am typically unavailable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00–7:00pm. I will be unable to board any pets as I have a roommate. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick potty break or staying overnight, I prioritize safety, trust, and gentle, attentive care in your pet’s familiar environment. I specialize in caring for calm, low- to moderate-energy pets—including seniors, anxious animals, and those who need medication or extra TLC. About: I love all animals big and small. I have volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter and Oakland Zoo. Always had cats and dogs in my life. I am retired and enjoy walking (and playing with) dogs/cats and getting exercise. My time is pretty flexible and can work with your busy schedule. Safety is my main concern when walking a pet — always ensuring harness/collar/leash is secure and avoiding approaching dogs. After a walk I fill their water bowls and ensure the door is locked.

About: I am a professional experienced pet sitter new to Rover. I have raised kittens and currently have an elderly cat and a cat with serious medical issues--I'm very comfortable with special needs fur babies. I also have a high energy cattle dog and I don't shy away from overexcited pup either. I take pride in caring for all animals! I am working part time while I study for law school. About: Hi! I’m Courtney, and I love dogs and have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds from Chihuahuas to Pit bull terriers to Great Danes. I have worked for humane societies for years walking shelter dogs and helping with basic training and grooming, so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes including strong, highly active dogs that require an experienced controlled dog walker/sitter. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. I work from home part time and have lots of time to dedicate to your pup! I’m responsible and respectful, as well as, punctual, and will happily give your pup all my love and attention! I’m available daily for dog walks and boarding and I currently have a small group of regular dogs that come on different weekdays for doggie daycare. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walks but I do run a doggie daycare (max 5 dogs per day) in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes dogs ranging from 15 - 85 pounds and almost all the dogs are between 3 and 5 years old. I also offer boarding for up to 2 dogs per night but usually I am booked out 4-6 weeks ahead of time. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.
