“Audrey was very kind, responsive, and great for our little last minute fiasco. The pups really seemed to enjoy their time with her and we were able to enjoy the day not worrying about the care our pups were provided!”

About: Hello! So nice to meet you. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your pet(s)! My first name is Taylor, but please call me Marie (my middle and preferred name) :-) I am competent, thorough, communicative, responsible, punctual, respectful, honest, and have integrity. You can be assured that your pet(s) will be safe with me. I give periodic written updates with photos, I follow instructions carefully, I take attentive notes about your pet from your description and my own observations, I am focused and attentive when caring for your pet(s), and I respond promptly to messages. For pet sitting in your home, I am very tidy/respectful and will leave your home as clean as when I arrived, and I stay in only the designated area(s) and only touch what I need to (please show me where you keep cleaning supplies and your pets’ food or medications, etc.). I pick up after your pet and bring my own dog waste bags, leads, collapsible water bowl, and first aid kit, just in case. I pay attention to details, like the temperature (air/ground) being safe for walks. My preference is to suggest a “Meet-and-Greet” because it’s important to me that you AND your pet are comfortable with me (and I you). I am loyal and love to have repeat clients, but I also enjoy taking on one-time requests, I’m happy to help. I try to keep a pet’s routine as familiar as possible for their comfort and your peace of mind. A bit about my background: I'm currently enrolled (2026) in Penn Foster's Vet Tech Associate's Degree Program. I graduated with a 4.0 from Pima Medical Institute, Phoenix, in December 2020 from the Veterinary Assistant Program. I graduated magna cum laude ("with great praise") from ASU in 2015 with a BA in Creative Writing and a second BA in French linguistics/translation/literature. I also completed one semester of the Pre-Veterinary Medicine program at ASU. I am Fear Free Level 3 Certified (........), and currently I'm renewing my certification for 2026. I am RECOVER Initiative (CPR) certified (just renewed for 2026). I've worked for various Small Animal vet clinics on and off since 2018. I have been working with animals in some capacity since 2010 (technically years earlier, since I used to volunteer at our local humane society in elementary and middle school as a kid), and I’ve had my own pets since I was ~5 years old. I worked previously for Rover from July 2017 to May 2021, and took a hiatus because I moved, but unfortunately I no longer have my original Rover profile (Was listed as "Taylor E.", first name and maiden name initial). I had a 5-star rating from 35 people who were pleased with my pet care and communication and left positive reviews (thank you so much!!!) and had several repeat clients -- Please see screenshots of my previous Rover account reviews in my photo gallery. I love working for Rover, so I’m glad to be back! I have the experience to be able to care for certain special needs, and I will communicate with you honestly (at all times) if I feel a request/booking is beyond my scope of experience because my priority is your pet's safety and wellbeing and I feel they should be matched with the best possible carer. I have worked with a variety of cats/dogs of different ages, abilities/needs/conditions, sizes, and breeds, as both a veterinary assistant and pet sitter. As an important DISCLAIMER: While I do have years of vet assistant experience and formal vet assistant education, I am not a Veterinarian and not a CVT (i.e., I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine); I can only care for your pet in the capacity as a pet sitter / dog walker and cannot provide medical care or diagnose or prognose, etc. I will always refer you to your local Vet for that type of care and will not do anything outside of my scope of expertise for the safety of your pet (and to abide by the law). In the event of an emergency I can provide first aid/CPR and transport your pet to the vet. About our pets at home: My husband and I have two wonderful cats (1 adopted, 1 we rescued) and two wonderful dogs (adopted by us from the humane society after they were rescued from dire situations, respectively; one of which is a tripod and one is a disabled senior that wears diapers) -- I gravitate especially towards rescues and seniors that need a little extra care, and I especially love cats. Every pet is so special and deserves a safe and happy home! Thank you so much for your consideration. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! -- Marie When receiving a booking request, I will communicate in detail about my availability to ensure it meets your expectations and your pet's needs. As a professional artist, my daily and weekly schedule can typically be flexible, especially given notice, and much of my day-to-day work is remote. Whenever possible, I can take short-notice and same-day requests. I have evening classes weekdays for ~1.5 - 3 hours, and occasional performances, but typically no other scheduling commitments from May to September (theatre "summer") annually. From September through May (9 months, Fall to Summer), I am unavailable Saturdays and some Fridays (mostly First Fridays) due to our theatre performance schedule. For pets that need full-time supervision on a pet sitting stay in your home, my classes can be skipped for a short period only, so I will factor this into accepting an extended stay of multiple weeks. Typically for a healthy pet that can be safely left alone, I still always spend as much time with them as possible and only leave the house for meals (or can bring food) and/or class, an occasional errand, depending on how long the stay is. I will discuss my availability and your pet's needs in detail before accepting a booking to be sure it is mutually a good fit. In your home or on a dog-walk, I will give your pet(s) my full attention to their safety, well-being, and happiness. I am consistent and committed to staying up to date on the latest behavioral and scientific/medical knowledge. I am thorough and carefully follow directions and will ask for clarification if needed to ensure I am prepared for your pet's specific care. I am experienced and knowledgeable, and you can trust me in your home and with your precious pets. I am gentle, calm, and kind, and can also be silly/fun/playful, or be confident, depending on your pet's personality, needs, and training. I've worked with a range of pets, from quiet seniors and calm cats to rambunctious puppies, giant-breeds, and anxious pets. And I most especially love cats!! I unfortunately cannot care for your pets in my own home (such as daycare or pet sitting in my home) because I have four of my own at home with special needs and routines. ***I’m not accepting puppies at this time due to my varied availability/classes, or most Large/Giant breeds only because I’m healing a neck/shoulder injury; I'm not just assuming that they pull on a lead, but to ensure I could safely carry/transport them in the event of an emergency.***
“Jessica was fantastic! There’s nothing more we could have hoped for. The dogs were well taken care of, the house was in great shape (even with a wild puppy she had to watch), her communication was great, I’d highly recommend Jessica. She couldn’t have been better!”

“Madilyn was great! We had an unexpected last minute dash to find a sitter for our two old cats and little anxious dog when our previous sitter backed out. We communicated with a number of folks to try to find someone and were not finding them to be responsible or reliable. Then Maddy saved the day. She was calm and clear and followed through on the items discussed. We knew our house and pets were in good hands and are so thankful for her help. Thanks again, Madilyn!”

“Kim was amazing! She really has the ability to connect with your pups and is professional, communicative, friendly and just all around great! It was my first booking with her and I will definitely be asking for her again! She left the house as if I was never gone (even fixed a light for me!). My babies enjoyed her and I know they were well cared for which made my trip so much more enjoyable without having to worry! I would definitely refer anyone to her, hands down! (Just don’t book her when I need her! :) thanks Kim. You’re awesome!!!!!!”

“Ynez was truly amazing and we could not have asked for a better experience. She took such great care of our home and our dog, and you can tell she genuinely cares. She kept us updated the entire time and sent so many sweet pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog looked so happy and comfortable with her, and coming home to everything in perfect shape meant so much to us. We are beyond grateful and would absolutely trust her again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!”

“Will was absolutely amazing with Calvin and took such great care of both him and our home while we were away for the weekend. He went above and beyond in every way and handled an unexpected situation with so much care, attentiveness, and professionalism. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Calvin was in such good hands. Will is dependable, kind, and clearly someone who genuinely cares about the pets he watches. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy who will truly show up and get the job done.”

“Took great care of my high energy dog while away for the Holiday weekend. My dog has some separation anxiety issues so I wanted to make him feel more comfortable by staying in his safe place as a recent rescue. I came home to a very happy dog.”

“Aleksandra took great care of my cat Nutterbutter and she sent lots of pictures and videos while we were away! Highly recommend and we will most definitely be requesting Aleksandra!”

“Lauren was amazing! She was easy to communicate with and super accommodating when I had to change plans last minute. She was so sweet with Pickles and gave great updates! I will definitely use her again!!!”

“We are repeat customers of Nancy’s and I can’t express enough how amazing the experience always is! Our dog LOVES her and she takes such great care of him as well as our home! I can actually leave for work or personal travel and not have to worry about him because I know he is in such great care! 5+ stars for Nancy!”

“We will definitely be using Cat again for house sitting! She was very communicative and sent lots of photos. She went above an beyond making sure all of our animals were comfortable and cared for. Thank you, Cat :)”

“Tamaya was great with our anxious dog! We booked her for 2 weeks overnight at our home while on vacation and she quickly eased our worries about leaving our dog for such a long time due to her separation anxiety. During the stay, she sent plenty of pictures and she kept us updated on any changes. She followed the instructions perfectly and even started watering the plants when I asked a couple days into my trip. We came back to a clean home and a happy dog☺️ We will definitely rebook her in the future!”

“Claire is a gem! I was worried about leaving our kitty but he LOVED her! He even became a lap cat while we were away. She made it possible for us to relax and enjoy our vacation away from the kitty for the first time. She sent lots of pictures.”

“Rae was amazing. She was so wonderful with our dogs and went above and beyond our expectations. She was a great communicator and sent lots of pictures. I would highly recommend Rae to anyone who wants their pet loved and spoiled!”

NTNA-Cavalier Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Shawna was amazing! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone who wasn't a family member, so we were hesitant at first. From the initial meeting, we knew Shawna was going to be a great fit. During the stay, Shawna sent us tons of pictures and provided us with tons of updates. We were out of the country for 12 days and never felt once we had to worry about our boy. She took great care of him and our house. He loved being with her and we could tell he felt comfortable with her. We would highly recommend Shawna to anyone and will definitely be using her again for any future trips we take!! Thanks again!

We could not be happier with Jamie and the service and care she provided. Total peace of mind from the meet and greet; pre trip communication and initial to end house sitting gig. Jamie was very personable; extremely confident in her pet caring skills; and takes her work very seriously and with complete professionalism. She arrived at the time we set up, kept in contact with us throughout our trip; showed great care to pets and home. Could not recommend her care enough.

We had such a great experience with Madison watching our dogs! She stayed at our home and was incredibly kind and respectful of our space and home. She kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our girls looked so happy and well cared for, and we loved that she took them on walks and gave them plenty of love and attention. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. Overall, she did an amazing job and made the whole experience stress-free for us. We would absolutely book with her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

We are so lucky to have found Claudia! She is so patient with our girls, is very communicative, and all around such a sweet person. She even took apart our couch-bed and washed the sheets/comforter before she left! Definitely will trust her as our sitter for any trips here on out :)

I was in a pinch and needed a dog sitter and found Sarah to watch my dogs for several nights. I wish I had found her sooner! She is responsible, answered texts immediately and gave updates. Dogs were happy! I would definitely recommend Sarah and if I wasn’t moving, I would absolutely continue to use her!

Grace was so sweet and very communicative! She would update me on how both my dogs were doing and would send pictures! She even took both my dogs out for walks and her runs! I can’t say enough good things about her! I really look forward to having her look after my boys next time we go out of town! Thanks so much Grace!

Corie was fantastic with Jasper and took great care of my home while I was away on an international work trip. She communicated wonderfully throughout the stay, even with time zone differences, and it gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing everything was being handled so well. Jasper clearly felt comfortable with her right away, and she also helped care for my tortoise and fish with no issues at all. I came home to a happy dog and a clean, well cared-for house. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy sitter.
